Good but far from worth a star
Excellent food but definitely not worth a star! Quite sluggish staff, does not seem really trained, all this considering the prices charged
Be the first to ReplyVery nice restaurant in the Design district
Excellent food, short menu a la carte or testing menu , in a nice and quiet setting, attentive service, we recommend this restaurant, and the outdoor sitting
Be the first to ReplyIs this really a Michelin starred restaurant?
I was surprised to dine at a Michelin starred restaurant and be so unimpressed by the experience and food. The quality and taste of the food was good, but fell far short of expectations. There were clam shell pieces in my seafood entree, and that was weird - especially for a Michelin starred restaurant. Outside of the tooth-sized shell pieces the entree was decent, but small in portion size - which is understandable for this type of restaurant. Service was good, and they let us stay an hour after they closed for lunch. Perhaps my expectations were too lofty? Maybe I need to read up on what constitutes a Michelin starred restaurant. The drinks looked amazing, but I just had water.

Extraordinary in every way. Every dish was perfect, service was outstanding and ambience was lovely and stylish. 10/10 recommend.
Be the first to ReplyDrinks are a masterpiece!
I never thought It would be possible to find such high quality food in Miami. This restaurant is a hidden gem! I particularly loved the farro risotto and the burrata. As dessert, the chocolate sabayon is an absolute must! What I enjoyed the most were the drinks! Couldnโt get enough of the โFraise et Tomateโ. A masterpiece! Kuddos to @rose_svilanova
Be the first to ReplyMixed Experience at Le Lardier Miami
Our visit to Le Lardier in Miami, a Michelin-starred restaurant, left us with mixed feelings. The food, undoubtedly exquisite, showcased a unique culinary experience. However, our enjoyment was marred by the apparent shortage of staff during our visit. The service, unfortunately, did not match the high standard set by the cuisine. While the flavors were exceptional, the overall experience was impacted by the lack of attentive service.
Be the first to ReplySpice lunch -$35 great value
Lunch was excellent. Ate every bite. It was great value for $35, although we spent more than that on drinks. Service and pace was good, decor in the restaurant is very stylish as you would expect. Would definitely recommend
Be the first to ReplyGreat Michelin restaurant in Miami
Wow! Le Jardinier is a beautiful restaurant and the food is equally beautiful. I sat at the bar and had the Miami Spice lunch and looking around me at what other people were eating, it was difficult picking out what to have. Service was superb. I had the salmon crudo and duck confit and the espresso tres leches dessert. All were fantastic. The salmon was about 8 pieces with a cucumber vinaigrette, the duck was served pavรฉ with some Swiss chard and apple purรฉe, and the dessert was a nice chocolate espresso with ice cream. Great experience and a great meal from a Michelin restaurant one-star restaurant. And you canโt beat the $10 house wine!
Be the first to ReplyNot Michelin Standards
Absolutely no Michelin Culture in Miamiโฆand this one is no exception. We have given Le Jardinier a try several times and although it is a nice restaurant, it is really not Michelin standardsโฆnot even been Joel Robuchon. The service is just average, the food good but not great. What can I sayโฆ. Just a nice restaurant, but Michelin here is just a star on a wall.
Be the first to ReplyLiterally, go anywhere else
I guess they are just giving out Michelin Stars like the free umbrellas in the Design District. We chose this restaurant based on the Michelin rating, but the tire man must be delusional. We ordered 4 starters and one entree to split between the two of us. We ordered tofu that was literally less than the size of my palm (and yes I am talking about my hand not the tree). This was the entire. There were 4 bites of tofu in a delicate and lightly seasoned sauce. The starters were pretty like the beet salad with little flavor. The burrata was semi solid on the inside, not a typically gooey consistency. It was like the ones you get in the supermarket in water from a brand name not hand pulled. The pea soup was fine. The peas seemed fresh, but not worth $35 for a starter of peas. I wouldn't be suprised if the peas were frozen. The star the meal? The bread. The gluten free had a typical GF consistency, but with nice spring and flavor. They gave two types of bread and quality oil. Pro tip: Just because the portions are tiny and the price is high, doesn't mean its actually good. We had to go to another restaurant for a second dinner, which I will review at a later time. If you are coming from NY, you will be disappointed, this is not the holy grail of food here in Miami. Don't get sucked into restaurants like this for a vibe and a star.

Absolutely stunning and thoughtful decor. Elevated cuisine with high-quality seasonal produce that will have you coming back every season (and then some) for their new creations. Staff is educated, polite, and attentive. Well deserved Michelin star!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent French Fare in the Design District
Great service. Devin was our guide for this great culinary experience. he thoroughly knew the menu and wine list and was very personable and professional. We asked for selections that would compliment our wine preference and we were not disappointed. My beef tartar appetizer and wagyu bavette entree were delectable. The Pinot noir was an excellent compliment to these dishes. My wife loves French white Burgundies so her selections were seafood โ Key West Shrimp to start and lobster Benedict for the home stretch. Devin suggested the chocolate based desert / yummy! Just a fabulous Sunday brunch / outside on the terrace. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyWe love this place!!
We love this place!! If you want to have a delicious meal after shopping on miami's most famous street, this is the place. The ambiance is very spacious, the employees are professional. The food is very tasty. Especially wagyu!! Each plate is a work of art. It is clear that they value the work they do and the customer. I definitely recommend.

Everything was amazing, food also incredible. The place is beautiful. Super kind staff. My recommendation it will be trying the tasting menu.
Be the first to ReplyBest lunch in Design District
Amazing place for a great lunch and specially brunch on Saturday and Sundays. I recommend to try the 3 course menu. You ll live it.
Be the first to ReplyGOOD BUT NOT GREAT
My wife and I came for lunch on a weekday. We were here early enough to avoid a big crowd. We dined inside. Decorative ambiance. We each got the prix fixe combination whereby we focused on seafood. Plenty of food with the dessert part of the meal. The food was good though not up to what we expected from a Michelin restaurant. Not cheap.
Be the first to ReplyBurned food
I went there with my husband and my son. I like eating in Michelin restaurants as they usually serve good tasting food, but this was the exception to that rule. The bread and the wagyu beef were burned and tasted burned, not the nice smoked version, but the bad bitter burned taste. This ruined the whole experience. The only two good dishes were the chocolate mousse desert (donโt let go of that chef) and the scallop. But the only thing i will remember about this restaurant unfortunately is the burn taste. Nobody asked us how the meal was, as they usually do at the end of Michelin restaurantsโฆ. For 600 you expect great food, great service, great everything. I want to clarify that nobody was rude and the staff was nice, but failed to ask the right questions and โฆ.probably this is not the type of venue where the chef greets you at the end at the meal and ask how everything was. I hope they learn and taste the food before serving it.

After many wonderful dinners went for lunch. Great prix-fix menu. Service perfect. Recommend eating inside where the decor is wonderful. Outside terrace does not compare.
Be the first to ReplyMoney Hungry Restaurant
I made a reservation with Resy and cancelled it 6 minutes later when i took a home covid test that came up positive since I was fighting a cold. For that 6 minute mistake, the restaurant charged me $200 (50 per person) for cancelling at noon for a dinner resy and 8 minutes after booking. They called me twice at 7 as if i missed my reservation. Next morning charged me $200. I called, the manager refused to come to the phone, told staff to let me know thats the policy. This is INSANE and proves the restaurant doesnt have enough revenue from clients that its adamant about charging fees at all cost. I shouldve read the negative reviews online that point to the same theory. Ive cancelled reservations 2 hours prior with Major Food Group and Groots restaurants that are impossible to get into, and they didnt charge a fee or cared to push back on me. Clearly they dont need the money. Jardinier seems like it does. There must be some etiquette behind customer service at restaurants ans know when a fee is due and when it is not. 1 hour prior to arriving I understand, 6 minutes after booking and 7 hours before reservation time is just poor management.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful anniversary celebration
When you're celebrating a memorable anniversary, you want it to be as close to perfection as possible. And we came pretty close at Le Jardinier, the newly Michelin starred and more casual outpost of the Joel Robochon empire that's just downstairs from L'Atelier. We reserved at the bar, which was super attractive, with cushy stools with backs for comfort, and were greeted warmly by one of the bartenders, Harrison, as he presented us with 2 glasses of champagne that our thoughtful sons, who both live out of town, arranged for us to start the evening. All three bartenders, Harrison, Michael and Natalia (I think), were super helpful, friendly and professional. Next we moved on to Nouveau Carre cocktails, a take on the NOLA classic that were amazing. With that we enjoyed a flatbread with goat cheese and tomatoes that was delicious but so surprisingly HUGE we had to stop eating it for fear of spoiling what was to follow. My wife had the Spring Pea and Ricotta Agnolotti which she raved over, and the Filet with wild mushrooms and Rapini for me, which was cooked perfectly to my order (medium rare). Accompanied by a lovely bottle of Chateau Auney L'Hermitage Graves that was a steal at $86.00, we couldn't have been more satisfied. We shared a rich Peach Tart for dessert which was delicious. A 20% gratuity is automatically added, which prompted us to add on a bit extra for the stellar evening.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience !!!
Food - an experience out of this world. Tasting menu with wine pairing together with fantastic service. Amazing experience. Will return.
Be the first to ReplyLe Jardinier - EXCELLENT modern French cuisine
Le Jardiner is an elegant Design District modern French restaurant (oart od the acclaimed Joel Robuchon family of restaurants) - food, service, and ambience are all lovely. The outdoor patio is covered, and the seating is very comfortable. We enjoyed the following items:
Talk to Ruben - rum and pineapple cocktail - yum!
Margarita - very good
Bread basket - delicious Parker House rolls!
Beet salad - very good
Parsnip gnocchi - creamy and delicious!
Scallops entree - perfectly seared delicious scallops
Bavette au jus - mouth-watering flavorful flank steak entree
(Sadly, while BOTH Scallops and the Bavette entrees were delicious, sadly
Le Jardiner serves "small portion" entrees)
Coconut mouse with berry sorbet - yummy
Nougat parfait - good
The menu is relatively small and changes, but if you've never been, Le Jardinier is one of Miami's Must-try delicious dinning experiences!
Tasting menu
5 course tasting menu offers the best in fine dining amazing mixtures of flavors and textures. Burrata appetizer was wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyVery Good Food and Service in Nice Setting
This is refined, slightly simpler food than its upstairs sister, L'Atelier de Joel Robushon. There are more vegetables, and some of the dishes contain the same ingredients. The Iberico Pork was tasty and well prepared. The halibut was good. Starters were all good as were the deserts.
Be the first to ReplyVery good!!!
We had a bottle of wine and some dishes, fresh bread super delicious.
Price comparing tomportions, very expensive, but delicious!
