Had lunch with a friend today.
.. beautiful restaurant, good food (tiny portions), good service, high prices. Diners beware of this shameful rip-off..... I ordered an iced tea which arrived in a small, narrow glass filled with ice. I asked about refills and was told that they don't give refills.... iced tea? Huh? I ordered a second glass as the first one was finished in a few sips. When the check came, I had been incorrectly charged for 3 glasses at $10 each! $30 for iced tea.... are you kidding? The waitress revised the check to read only 1 glass.... but even that is insane for that price. I eat out almost every day and this is the biggest mess that I have experienced.... shameful pricing! So, be sure to ask questions and look at your tab.... or patronize another restaurant that has equally as good food, with real people portions at prices that are not as GREEDY! The worst of Miami. Starting from the order of drinks that took more than 30 minutes to get. Finally upon arrival the rose wine came out red wine. When asked that type and name server had no idea. My husband did not get his beer until an hour into the meal. We placed our order. This included appetizer and Main meal. R hi is took about 45 minutes. My son did not get his appetizer with ours and they got all the orders wrong My son felt bad after eating the tartar. He cancelled his order for dinner. We b ordered another beer for my husband and my other son. We got one beer and same cocktail that he had ordered the first round. This is blatant how they don't listen or care for their guests. They brought out my son's cancelled order and said it will be comp. They still put itbb b on the bill we had to bring it to their attention to remove. Needles to say, they ruined my birthday experience
Be the first to ReplyWow! We went here for Valentine's Day and had a great time.
The decor has got a funky mid century mod kind of vibe, especially by the bar. Very cool place for a date night. The prix fixe menu for Valentine's Day was awesome--I started with a delicious fluje crudo, followed by veal papardelle, and then a very tasty sea bass. We were almost full by dessert but we made it through the cheesecake! During dinner, we had a glass of champagne and our waiter was nice enough to even comp us a second! Cocktail menu was very interesting and I had a hard time picking. Would definitely go back!

Le Jardiniere is a Michelin star restaurant so this was a great way to try it out. The fish was very fresh and tasty. The service was great as they were very attentive. The food wasn't the best I've had unfortunately, so glad I came here during Miami spice. If you're in the design district it's a cute little lunch spot, not crazy about it for dinner.

Le Jardiner, a chic French spot in the Miami Design District, offers a tasteful experience with its great atmoshere and excellent service. The food is delicious, though the portions are on the smaller side. It's worth a visit, especially given their Michelin star from last year. The Wagyu Bavette was my faovroute, and the mushroom sauce truly elevated its flavor. The Wagyu felt a bit lacking in seasoning on its own, but the combination with the mushroom sauce was a game changer. Surprisingly, as someone not usually a fan of cheesecake, the citrus cheesecake won me over. It was incredibly tasty, not overly sweet, and just delicious.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, lovely presentation.
Small portions but it is expected for this high quality, ingredients and very creative preparation. Service was excellent and attentive. Nice ambience. Way Much better experience than some other Miami "big chef's names" multi city expensive places.
Be the first to ReplyLoved this Michelin experience.
Situated in the heart of the design district this ultra chic spot offers a really creative menu. I particularly enjoyed the artichoke hearts, mushroom veloute, and pear arlette. This dining experience was made above and beyond by the complimentary juice cleansing shot, knowledgeable waiters, beautiful ultra modern interior and great people watching. The music in here was great and wasn't too loud- allowing for good conversation, unlike most Miami spots. Was mildly disappointed with the cocktails- we mentioned this to our server and he happily expunged from our bill. Will DEFINITELY return

IYKYK! Le Jardinier is frequently overlooked due to its low key vibe and location, but it's probably one of the best restaurants in Miami based on quality and consistency. It is pricey for sure, but it's worth every penny! The best Salmon I've ever had in my love was here, and also the best soups. I have never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy, and I always try something new here that was end up loving. If your dining with a group, I definitely recommend the pre fixe option so everyone can try and share as much as possible. Go here at least once - you won't regret it!

The vegetarian tasting menu was FANTASTIC! The bread was sublime. And Charlie the waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable.
Be the first to ReplyI wasn't impressed by the food honestly.
I had a testing menu. Maybe I should've ordered something else instead. I see pictures - everything looks great. Except for what I had ;) but what make this place really great- service! Everyone from hostess to the food runner, bussers and servers were on point! The only 1 complaint - our server was too handsome!!! I was intimidated by his beauty ;) jk, but he was really great!i I believe his name is Devin. Thanks to all team for the experience!

I never post reviews and feel bad doing so but my experience was so disappointing I had to. Le Jardinier does not deserve its Michelin Star. Tasting menu was bland and underwhelming. Nothing innovative. Location was a bit hard to find, it's a mismatch of shop employees in uniform at the bar, casual passbyers in shorts on the terrace, and people dressed up. Staff was talking loudly about personal lives. Seated and never asked if I've dined before or what I was celebrating. Was greeted by asking what type of water I want and that's all. Every explanation of the meal was rushed and mumbled. It took only one hour for five courses, drinks, and bread, very rushed. One scallop, one ravioli. Drink was uniquely refreshing and steak was excellent which is why it has some appeal. Chairs are uncomfortable and not the right height ratio to the table. Waste of $500. Out of all the Michelin places I have dined this was the worst.

I had the pleasure of dining at Le Jardinier in Miami on Valentine's Day, also celebrating our anniversary, where I was blown away by the restaurant's creative and delectable menu. For our first course, my girlfriend and I shared the Beef Tartar, which was an absolute standout dish. The beef was expertly hand-cut and seasoned with just the right amount of spices to give it a rich, savory flavor. The spicy aioli and potato chips provided the perfect accompaniment to the dish, offering a nice contrast to the tender beef. It was a perfect start to our meal.Next up was the Diver Scallop with Shitake Chutney and Lemongrass Emulsion, and it was another fantastic dish. The scallops were cooked to perfection and had a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was absolutely divine. The chutney provided a nice sweetness that perfectly complemented the scallops, and the lemongrass emulsion was a bright, fresh touch that added a subtle citrus flavor to the dish. It was a real delight to the senses. For our main course, I ordered the Wagyu Medium Rare Bavette Au Jus with Variations of Shallot, Broccolini, and Mushrooms, while my girlfriend opted for the Farro Risotto with Winter Flavors and Mimolette. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a rich, buttery flavor that was incredibly satisfying. The au jus was a fantastic addition that brought out the natural flavors of the beef, while the shallot, broccolini, and mushrooms offered a nice earthy sweetness to the dish. My girlfriend's risotto was also a highlight - the farro had a lovely nutty flavor that was complemented by the creamy, cheesy Mimolette, and the winter flavors added a nice, hearty touch to the dish. For dessert, we couldn't resist ordering the Passion Fruit Cream Tart with Raspberry Compote and Yuzu Meringue, as well as the Dark Chocolate Mousse. The tart was light and refreshing, with a tangy passion fruit cream that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the raspberry compote. The yuzu meringue provided a nice citrusy flavor that complemented the other elements of the dish perfectly. The dark chocolate mousse was a rich and decadent way to end the meal, with a deep, intense chocolate flavor that left us feeling truly satisfied, also having white chocolate ice cream in the middle layer. Overall, our experience at Le Jardinier was truly exceptional. The creativity and quality of the dishes were second to none, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience that is both elegant and innovative. It's definitely a must-visit spot for foodies in Miami.

Be the first to ReplyI promise I will get to the food but first I need to rave
I promise I will get to the food but first I need to rave about our server Devin. He was an absolute delight and also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He really took an amazing dining experience to the next level. We will be returning for brunch before we leave and it is 100% because of him. One thing that needs to be said before you stop reading is that a restaurant of this caliber sets strict expectations for their waitstaff so if you feel that they are being intrusive by constantly clearing your table or refilling your water, that is what they are expected to do. They never want you to have to ask for more water or watch your sleeve drag across an uncleared plate. It has a white table cloth so expect attention to you and the details. Now the reason you are here. The food. Well as you can imagine there is a reason that Chef Alain Verzeroli earned a Michelin star and I can confidently say that if you are a true foodie you will not be disappointed. The food and drinks were phenomenal and even though we weren't sure if we had room, we managed to split two desserts. We started with the burrata and the figs were ripened to perfect and the poached pears added a wonderful sweetness to the burrata. The sunchoke velouté had wonderfully balanced flavors and the pine nuts brought the perfect amount of toasted goodness without over powering the dish. The ravioli and filling were delicious and three is more than enough as the pasta is rolled a little on the thicker side. The sea bass was the perfect compliment to the raviolis (we share everything) and was light enough to have room for dessert without skimping on flavors. Lastly, the dessert. So if you are in the mood for ice cream please don't let the fact that it is vegan turn you away. The coconut was so creamy and it pairs perfectly with the dark chocolate and caramel with the sabayon.
Be the first to ReplyThree of us had a late lunch/brunch on Saturday.
It was a fix price menu. Lots of options for each of the three courses. The food we ordered was great. Everyone enjoyed what we ordered. The kitchen was accommodating to a couple of food issues. Our server Devin was well versed with the menu making several suggestions. He gave us our space but always seemed to be right there when needed. He definitely added to the experience. We will return and I recommend giving the restaurant a try. Request Devin to add to the experience.

Be the first to ReplyExcellent! We had an amazing lunch at this restaurant.
Modern and stylish, great service and fantastic food. I ordered the GOLDEN BEETS as a starter and it was phenomenal. For the main dish I decided to go with the SEA BASS and it was also perfectly cooked and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant to all Miami foodies and we will definitely return.

We had a fantastic meal at Le Jardinier - we had a comfortable outdoor table and we were able to sit side by side while we enjoyed our dinner. I had the tuna with crispy capers to start and the heritage chicken as my main. Both dishes were amazing - beautifully presented and very flavorful. The heritage chicken was especially amazing - I usually avoid chicken breast, but this was the best-prepared chicken breast I've ever had - super juicy and very flavorful. The chicken was topped with swiss chard - which much to my amazement was super rich and delicious. I forgot the name of our dessert, but it was like a creme brulee on top, but with ice cream on the bottom. It was very fun and also delicious. Highly recommended!

Wonderful food -- highlighters we're definitely the agnolotti and the king salmon! Cocktails were also phenomenal. We tried a drink with tequila and red bell pepper that was unlike anything I've had before. However, what was truly superior was the service, both our server and the sommelier. Highly recommend. Also VERY accommodating to families with kids!
