Little restaurant serving small selection of delicious
Little restaurant serving small selection of delicious meals. Got there at 10.30pm and was seated straight away.
Be the first to ReplyLovely restaurant in Old Town, Nice.
The veal dish I had was one of the best ever! And the owner, Ben ( Benoรฎt ?), is a super, lovely, kind young man. We had dinner with friends of ours, from Paris, and they thought the food was delicious!!! Everything about this restaurant is five star.

We happened to walk past this place one evening and tried to go to the place next door, which unfortunately was all booked. The staff were friendly and service was good overall. The food we had was fresh but nothing out of the world by a long stretch. For starters, we had a mix salad, the greens came out of a big plastic bag... and the lentil salad w chorizo, which was ok. For the main, we got the veal meatball and the grilled dorado. The ingredients are very fresh but the either the cooking was way off. The fish was undercooked, so the fish meat outside was tender, and cooked as I dug in little more, the rest was all not cooked and translucent. So I'm not sure if this is supposed to be some sort of style or what but I was certainly not going to be eating half-ass cooked sashimi at a French restaurant. I had to send the fish back and get it cooked all the way through. The meatball had similar issue, it was cooke outside but inside it looked like carpaccio. We were also told that beef tagilata pasta was going to be raw beef... which was a surprise to me. So...either they should be just serving carpaccio, ceviche and stick to the raw food or they should make sure to cook everything. The meal was close to eighty euros so there's no way this is a one euro sign, not even for Nice. Will not be coming back anytime soon. Now I just hope that my dining partner and I don't end up with food poisoning!

Cozy and welcoming and energetic and the bar next to it is a perfect spot to wait out any time you may have to get a table. Don't worry about a reservation. They are so accommodating and will make it work. Come ready to eat!!

We just happed to walk past this cute little restaurant (hungry) and are so happy we decided to wait for a table! We sat inside the small restaurant (there is also outdoor seating) and were greeted by a very friendly waiter whose English was excellent. Our group ordered a variety of dishes from fish to duck to pasta. Every one was excellent. Even the salad was very good. When attempting to pick a favorite, the group was divided between the fish special, duck, and the pesto pasta. But the desserts stole the show. Served out of a large bowl/tray table side, the tiramisu and chocolate moose were a hit that we continue to talk about several days later. The price was very reasonable. We would have happily paid more for food and services this good.We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyLe Petit Lascaris is one of the best restaurants in Nice.
The food is fresh and tasty and the staff is very friendly. Their menu is also available in English. The restaurant is very small and popular so it is crowded. I will for sure return to this wonderful place. Thank you.
Be the first to ReplyMUST TRY - homemade meatballs.
I ordered their soup of the day twice because it was so good - puree potato, rocket and Parmesan soup - delish.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here for our last night in Nice for dinner.
My friend had the rabbit, I had the quail and the Hubster had veal meatballs. I sort of feel like I need to average out our meals, as mine was a bit dry, the rabbit was fine and my Hubster wouldn't stop talking about how great his meatballs were. Service was absolutely fantastic, as our server joked with us the whole time. Food and drink came quickly. The atmosphere was cozy and eclectic. I'd visit again.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner at this small, cozy restaurant. While it is located in a small alley, there was enough action to make for fun people watching during our meal. The service was friendly, playful, and accommodated our limited French. They even treated the three of us to complimentary limoncello shots after dessert.

Tiny place in a remote alley, super busy so get there early or expect a long wait as europeans are not accustomed to eating fast and leaving -flip side, they won't rush you out. Food was not typical of a french restaurant by American standards -think healthier, like you're cooking at home. By eating out standards, this is a place you can dine daily and be relatively healthy...low in sodium, butter, and other fats. I'm assuming it's completely different from what we know as French Food since it's in their Old Town area that was once a part of Italy.
