Alright
A very good quality/price ratio for the menu at 26 euros at lunch, with 6 oysters, a well-prepared fish and a dessert, the seafood products are very fresh.

Real professionals working good products. What a pleasure to find very good seafood products on your plate. Nothing is overrated here, real dining. The langoustines (from Guilvinec!) accompanied by an asparagus risotto were simply exquisite. An essential address for seafood lovers!

It is so sad when you feel so very unwelcome in a restaurant.. We speak french and were hoping that this would help with the famous french arrogance towards visitors- but alas… The truth was - they couldn’t care less..all our smiles, mercis and patience..service was comd and careless. We had a lovely bottle of wine for lunch..never a refill by the waiter.. Had the sole meuniere..ok but.. Even the oysters were rather bland.. No reason to return…alas…

Though Bistro Paul Bert is getting a bad reputation, I was still hoping to go. Everyday I called to make a reservation, but nobody answered the phone prompting me to waste over $100 in Uber rides to the 11th. I was, however, welcomed next door to L'Ecailler. A lot of options were sold out, but I ordered the crab salad, breaded clams, and the strawberry dessert. My server was very nice, making it very hard to believe this is the sister restaurant of Paul Bert.

My first visit to Paris was when I was 15. 60 years later I am here again (of course I’ve visited many times between). I remember the seafood then. Today we went to L’Ecailler du Bistrot (my wife and son) in the 11 ième. And we sampled seafood again. This was top rate seafood ranging from Brittany oysters to crevettes grises to crab (clams, whelks, winkles, prawns plus others). We had the plateau de fruits de mer with 8 different types of seafood plus some starters of scallop carpaccio, fish ball fritters and sea urchin. All washed down with a premium Muscadet from the Loire. The dessert was a marquis au chocolat. Fabulous. Service was exceptional. It was pricey but well worth it.

One of the best restaurants in Paris where you can eat the best seafood . Great oysters 🦪, wine especially rose is very tasty .

A bit pricey for food that is good but not unusual. Venue needs a little TLC in a neighborhood that is cozy but not worth the ticket price of restaurant admission. Enjoyed the dinner & the evening but with so much good food available in paris you can find a similar restaurant at another off the beaten track location for half the price.

I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant on a busy saturday night. I loved the vibe and the place. Great quality seafood, wonderfully served and my new to go place for when you feel like oysters.
