Cantonese food
Our go-to restaurant chain for cantonese food which is not fine dining. The dim sum is always good. For dinner, the fish, lobster broth rice and other dishes are crowd pleasers
Be the first to ReplyDelicious yum cha
Lei Garden is an upscale Cantonese restaurant chain in Hong Kong. This place is at a residential mall in North Point. It is a perfect spot for a local yum cha experience with options ranging from dim sum, barbecues to mains. Dim sum is fresh, delicate and nicely presented. Food in general is top-notch. Service is nice. Reservation is essential as it is always popular among locals.

Been here 3 times for lunch. Consistent very good Dim Sum. Comfortable seating and great timing on food preparation.
Be the first to ReplyVery good dim sum at cheap prices
During lunch time they do a wonderful selection of dim sum (Chinese version of Tapas).
Serving staff does not speak English but the menu has sufficient English description and photos for tourists to order a good meal. Service is swift but no frills.
It is a bustling restaurant packed with locals. It has an authentic HongKong atmosphere.
Tip - their entrance is small on ground, the dining area is upstairs on first floor. Wheelchair access is available by lift upon request.
Bad service,Bad manner, has crockcoach on the table
The foods is salty .I recommend only fried dimsum ,others is not tasty 😨😨 The price is cheaper more than Federal palace .Bad service 👎🏻👎🏻 I won't go there anymore or may be try other branch would be good.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful winter melon soup!
My family and I have gone to Lei Garden many times. The restaurant is on the second floor. Our favorite is the winter melon soup. The soup is served inside a half-hallow winter melon. Because of the large size of the winter melon, there are probably seven bowls of soup. It would best Not to order this soup if you are eating alone. The soup has to be ordered in advance. We always ordered it one day ahead. We have never been disappointed.

Reading some of the mixed reviews I thought it only right to correct some of them. Thirteen of us staying at The City Garden Hotel almost opposite turned up without a booking and within minutes they had sorted a round table enabling us to sit together. I note several comments about the lack of English and difficulty in communicating;whilst the majority of staff had little command of the English language the charming young female manager did and oversaw our meal. We largely told her what we wanted to spend and left the menu choice to her. The highlights of the eight courses we were served included deep fried prawns, a wonderful crispy belly pork dish and several tasty vegetable dishes. With numerous beers and soft drinks the bill totalled $35 dollars a head. Of the meals we sampled in Hong Kong this was for me the most authentic aided by the charming service overseen by the young manager.
