Great fresh and filling sandwiches with a few salads. Bread is fresh and made in house. The always present line moves along- Pies are small but tasty-
Be the first to ReplyGreat sandwiches and pies.
The sandwiches are huge and large enough to share. The pies are delicious. Good variety of pies. We had key lime and banana cream. Both were delicious. Ham and cheese sandwich was great. Real baked ham. Don’t miss this stop.
Be the first to ReplyNot really worth it.
I had the Reuben, my wife the pastrami sandwich. She felt hers was good except the bread which though a tasty rye bread it had no doughiness to it. My Reuben was ok but the pastrami was fatty/gristly and hard to chew. The fries were greasy and a bit soggy. The mayo sauce that came with the fries reminded us of the mayo given with fries in Belgium/Netherlands or France, tasty. We got two of the small pies, one lime and one apple crumble. The crust on the lime was borderline burnt and the filling was lackluster in it had limited lime flavor, and $10. The apple crumble was the same price and it was just ok, needed more...cinnamon perhaps? Something was missing. By small pies I mean small, like 4-5 inch dia. The ambiance, if you can call it that, was trying to be folksy I guess. in total with the two pies and two iced teas it was $75, not woth it in our opinion. Parking by the way is kinda convenient in front but VERY rough.
Be the first to ReplyPies are not worth buying
I don’t understand the long lines here. My husband and I ordered the coconut cream pie and chocolate cream pie. Both were nothing to write home about. Both were made with a graham cracker crust that was really hard and crunchy. By the time you got your fork through the crust it punctured the tin pie pan. The flavors for both were just so-so. Not bad but not good. Not worth $10 each. Would not return.
Be the first to ReplyPies yes please but don't forget the wonderful sandwiches!
I've always stopped for pies when visiting Maui. They are fabulous I think we tried all of them at one time or another. This visit we decided to eat lunch as well. We will be putting this on our hit every visit list. Sandwiches were great as well as burgers and fries whole table finished every morsel.

We only had the pies (chocolate and coconut). Didn’t eat in the restaurant. The pies were yummy! Each is enough for two people or two deserts for one person. Worth the trip to a kind out of the way roadside location.

Great little spot along the road to Lahaina! Food was good, service was friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend.
Be the first to ReplyGreat quality, super fresh food.
Superb freshly made food . We first tried the Brussels sprouts five years ago they are delicious. We also had the cob salad very tasty and spicy Tuna sandwich plenty of filling . Opens later 10am queue throughout the day. Would recommend to eat in or to get a picnic.
Be the first to ReplyReally wonderful 🥧
The apple crisp pie, and the chocolate macadamia nut pie are absolutely five stars. Really a bargain for Maui. Line is usually out the door.
Be the first to ReplyEasily the best place to eat on the island
First of all, the pies are to die for and I love pie! I personally tried the banana cream and lime (not key lime, some local lime) and have given it the Minnesota pie guy seal of approval. We had the roast beef sandwich, the turkey sandwich as well as the fries. These are different pies, not like the General Store and Pie Shop in Stockholm, Wisconsin. These pies are small and not-so-much like the traditional blueberry, apple, cherry or pecan pies. These are creamy island flavors such as banana, coconut and lime. Here is some very sad and some good news. The sad news first for those of you who visit Maui periodically; they no longer serve breakfast (no more French Toast!) since COVID. The good news; the place is really upgraded with super cool pictures and furniture. We could have eaten here everyday. Great staff and service. It’s small, sometimes there’s a line, consider take out.

Fantastic sandwiches and pies and cookies. We stop in multiple times on every visit to Maui. Always a must for us, especially for lunch at the beach or just a picnic anywhere in Maui.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food
I have seen this place for years and finally decided to stop. The hamburger was delicious, and the BLT amazing. The fries were very hot. There might be a line but worth the wait. Did not try their pies but looked delicious.

Leoda's is worth the airfare to get to Maui. Fresh tuna was incredible and the pies are otherworldly.
Be the first to ReplyPies, sandwiches, all excellent
Yes, yes, yes.. Do stop, the line goes quickly. The bread for sandwiches is out of this world. Very nice staff. Lime pie, and macadamia nut pineapple pies were excellent.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelming sando, great pie
Was it worth the wait? Nah. I might have ordered wrong, but the sandwich I got was just average. I did really enjoy the coconut cream pie so overall my recommendation is to come for the pie and if you need a sandwich too, order ahead and pickup at the takeout window.
Be the first to ReplyDELICIOUS!
Food was so fresh and delicious. Even my teens liked it. Would definitely eat here again! Banana cream pie - YUM!!
Be the first to ReplyThe hype is real
We made 3 stops here for pie during our 5 days in Maui and a few times took home multiple pies per person. What can I say, it was vacation! The chocolate macadamia nut and coconut cream were favorites. They are so efficient, even with a line out the door it moved quick. We had no service so make sure to review options online and have everyone's order if you are picking up for others.
Be the first to Replylong waits but worth it!
Enjoyed the great desserts here - especially their pies. Also had lunch for family of 8. Found a table for us - lucky as it is small and always busy there. Food was tasty but their desserts are the restaurants draw.... waited 40 mins. one time for take out desserts. Always a line outside.... but it is worth it!

We thought we would stop for pie after all the great reviews. We ordered 4 - banana cream, coconut cream, mango and chocolate macadamia. What a huge disappoint for $40. There was no taste to any of them. Same graham crust and custard with a tiny bit of flavor. Our family could not eat them. Not sure why everyone raves about them, but save your money!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Pies and so much more!
While Leoda's is well known for their delicious pies, you've got to try their food, too. Great sandwiches and salads; so don't just go for dessert, get the whole meal. Also, stop in the General Store next door. Old Hawaii at its best.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Read so many great reviews so we came here today and had the Lime, Coconut Cream and Guava. Lots of crust. Lack of flavor. Lime was the better of the bunch. 3 small pies, 2 waters, $40….. I wish I would have only looked at negative reviews because they were spot on.

The chocolate macadamia nut was amazing, The apple was not sad good, too tough a crust. Wait wasn’t too long, well worth it.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place, honest employees!
My daughter, her Mother-in-law and I stopped in and I had the hot dog with a chocolate macadamia nut pie. Both were so delicious! My daughter had the club sandwich and banana cream pie, and her MIL had the cheesesteak sandwich with an apple pie. All were perfect! We headed out, and about 30 minutes later, I realized I forgot my purse on the back of my chair. We called, and they didn't see my purse. We drove there, and when we arrived, they were searching the purse they found hanging on the back of the chair for my phone number to call us to tell us they found my purse! They thought it was for the current people sitting in the chair, because I had it hanging on the back of the chair. They were so honest! I'd recommend this place for the food alone, but the fact that these people were trying so hard to get my purse back to me definitely made me HAVE TO write a review! I'm forever grateful to the employees here, because I had something that belonged to my deceased son in my purse and I'll always remember this!
Be the first to ReplyBanana cream pie to die for
I'm not usually a big fan of banana cream pie, but I was almost sorry I couldn't bring one home on the plane with me. Delicious
