Great pies! Arrived on Wednesday and purchased a coconut
Great pies! Arrived on Wednesday and purchased a coconut cream pie, and I was pleasantly surprised that it came with homemade whipped cream!!! YES! It was wonderful
Be the first to ReplyAlways seems to have a line, but for good reason.
This is the perfect place to go before or after heading to the beach. They make really well done sando's - loved our cheesesteak. And don't sleep on their pies either. A must-do in the area...
Be the first to ReplyExcellent experience as we drove back to Kihei from Napili.
Patient, friendly staff. Accommodated our plate sharing cheerfully and helpfully. Appetizing array of sandwiches. Not the best piece of ahi I've ever had and not seared quite enough, but the other elements--cheese, grilled onions, sauce--were great and the rye bread was delicious, top class. Mac'n'cheese was rich and gooey. Enjoyed the Lemon Drop cocktail. Pies were rich and tasty, especially the chocolate macadamia. Loved the casual vibe and local feel--wish I was a local so I could go frequently!
Be the first to ReplyBest coffee we had all trip! Bought some to take home even.
Loooved the breakfast sandwich - yummy fresh ingredients. Didn't try the pie but looked amazing. Loved this quaint little stop! Will be back.
Be the first to ReplyYes, the hype is real about the banana cream pie! At $10
Yes, the hype is real about the banana cream pie! At $10 now, it feels steep but consider that this is freshly made and delicious as compared to having dessert at a restaurant; this is still a deal! The crust is graham cracker-like but it's something else, I just know it! On top of the thickish crust is a layer of fresh bananas, banana cream that is perfectly lightly sweet and then fresh whipped cream topped with three slices of bananas. I made banana cream pie myself and this is truly homemade. Hubby ate most of it which is good for my waistline. I did tell him that I have my eye on the coconut cream pie and he said tomorrow! Be sure to stop and enjoy this wonderful taste of Maui!
Be the first to ReplyThe pies were great.
The fresh bread on the sandwiches was yummy. My only complaint is the processed cheese on the kids grilled cheese. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return.
Be the first to Replypies shrink every year and the prices go up.
the bananna bread was awful. it used to be great. disapointing

The cute cafe is a perfect spot for brunch or lunch and I can't stop dreaming about their pies! Service is great and food is top class!
Be the first to ReplyI've heard many great things about this place before coming
I've heard many great things about this place before coming to Maui & it did not disappoint. We tried the chocolate macnut pie & it tastes amazing. This pie was so creamy & nutty. This is a great spot to stop by when you're coming back or on the way to west Maui.
Be the first to ReplyThe pies were AMAZING!!! The lime pie stole the show.
So good. Fantastic crust. The coconut cream pie was delish and so was the chocolate Mac pie. The crusts were perfect! The sandwiches were so good. The turkey sammie and the roast beef sammie where fresh, and quality ingredients! The bread...so good. Friendly staff and delish food!
Be the first to ReplyLeoda's is a staple, must visit while on the island.
In addition to the must have pies, we ordered and delicious and fresh cobb salad that hit the spot and a beautiful BLT that was big enough for two meals. Great service and casual spot to bring the kids too!
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best places on the island.
We almost always stop here and buy pie first before we go to our hotel or resort. So three pies are our favs - although we haven't had a bad one here. The banana cream is the best you'll ever have anywhere. A perfect banana cream pie. The coconut cream pie is equal to the banana cream. This is my personal favorite as I am a coconut cream fanatic. It never disappoints. The 3rd is my wife's co favorite with the banana cream is the chocolate Mac nut. Also amazing! Sandwiches, savory pies and the Mac and cheese are all stellar. One of our favorite places in the islands! Can't wait till our next visit.

We live on the Big Island and visit Leoda's anytime we are in Maui. The pies are always delicious. This time we ate lunch also, had the patty melt, bacon/egg sandwich, daily special pastrami. The portions are huge and all were tasty, we didn't have room for our pie and took it to go. The sleeper this time was the fresh cut fries with aioli. So delicious! It was busy as usual but the line moves fast.
Be the first to ReplyThe first time we came to Leoda's was 14 years ago.
The food and pies blew our minds then and we told everyone on the mainland we knew to stop by this roadside gem. Leoda's has the single best banana cream pie we've ever eaten and the casual vibes insides ensure everyone is welcome. I can't believe the food quality has been so good for so long. We love you Leoda!

Been here over a dozen times and delicious every time! We usually stop by before/after visiting nearby beaches and these Ono grindz hit the spot! Even if you see a line, it moves fast. A must try when on Maui.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed in the food quality.
DO NOT get the spicy tuna.... Did not taste good. Also the veggie burger tastes like it's a Costco burger. Overhyped and overall sad at the quality

So we were in Lahaina for 6 days in February and we had pie from Leoda's every single day! I liked the key lime pie the best, banana cream pie a close second but they are all amazing! The veggie burger was also deliciously unique as they use taro, which I loved. All the sandwiches were great and there was always plenty of parking and seats in the restaurant. I miss the pies...

Soooooo good! They have the best sandwiches, pies and friendly staff. I definitely can't wait to go back
Be the first to ReplyHad heard rave reviews about the pies at Leodas.
So we stopped by for a quick pie fix on our back from Kapalua. Pay attention as it's easy to miss. Small shop on the side of the road- look for the long lines that often overflow out the door. Line moves fairly quick. The popular items are the pies but also can get sandwiches etc for lunch. Lots of options for pies- we tried the chocolate macadamia nut and key lime. Pies were solid and delicious but I would say that it was not anything too standout. Also pies were pricey at $10 each for a small tart sized personal pie. Happy to support local Maui but probably would not go out of my way to come back.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing pies! Would recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.
The Banana Cream was amazing (probably our favorite without being too sweet and overpowering), Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pie was extremely rich and tasted like chocolate pudding and the Key Lime was perfectly tart and refreshing. At $10 each I'd say they are personal sized / two could share one if this is your dessert spot after a heavy dinner. In the past certain flavors would sell out toward the end of the day however we stopped in at around 4pm and they had plenty of each flavor, so would definitely recommend for anyone traveling between Kihei and Lahaina as it's pretty much halfway between the two locations.

First timer here thanks to the ratings on Yelp and it did not disappoint. This place gets really crowded fast, lines out the door. The employees do their best to keep the line moving though so it's a plus. We dined in. I ordered a chicken pot pie and key lime pie. Both were really good that if I ever do come back here, I'm going to try the other pies, specifically the banana cream. My other half got the Reuben sandwich and he said the bread was really soft and good. I probably should have taken a picture of the inside of the chicken pot pie as the one I took does no justice. Felt like one of those home cooked meals. The inside of the place was cozy like. Love that you can help yourselves with a glass of water, utensils and condiments if you need it without having to ask an employee. Help them out and put your dish ware and utensils away so other guests can dine in when you are done. My kids actually enjoyed cleaning up the table for once.
Be the first to ReplyI came in on two separate occasions and picked up two
I came in on two separate occasions and picked up two different pies. Banana cream and Chocolate Mac Nut were the choices. Both were very tasty. Only comment was the crust was very stiff. Maybe it would be better if the pie was left out for half an hour before eating. Will come back for more pie. Watch out for the chickens when you pull into the parking lot!
Be the first to ReplyWe stopped by for dessert.
We bought a chocolate chip cookie, monkey bread and some chocolate chip macadamia nut pie. All were delicious!
Be the first to ReplyTHE BEST PIES ON THE ISLAND! This was the last stop on
THE BEST PIES ON THE ISLAND! This was the last stop on our vacation, and every time we passed by this place, we would always say, "Oh, the line is long. We can come back before we leave." We regret that decision. The last day we finally stopped into the shop, waited the line, and ordered the pies to go. We got the OLOWALU LIME PIE, APPLE CRUMB PIE, CHOCOLATE MAC NUT PIE, and BANANA CREAM PIE. All of them were so good! Not too sweet where it overpowers the dessert, but it had the right amount to feel like it was healthy. The size of the pies were enough to share with others. When we come back to Maui, this will be the first stop even before we check in to the hotel.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the most reviewed places I found on Yelp so you know
One of the most reviewed places I found on Yelp so you know I had to check it out with my sweet tooth. We ended up going later in the evening after exploring Lahaina and it's great they had a large parking lot area along the main road so you can pull over and enjoy. They share the space with other businesses too so if it's a nice day you can walk around. It was pouring when we came so luckily the line here wasn't too bad but there was STILL a line. The line went by pretty quickly though and as you're waiting they pass out menus. Since it was later in the day unfortunately the fruit pies were sold out so we ended up getting the banana and choco nut pies which were not bad options! The pies here have a more malty & toasty crust and the filling is piled on top but not super sweet. Definitely use a regular fork since the to go ones weren't the best to use on the pies. I enjoyed both but loved the choco nut one the most. In addition to the pies we ended up getting the beef dip and savory chicken pot pie to go. I enjoyed the beef dip even when it was reheated later. The chicken pot pies here are HUGE but I would likely pass next time. All in all, definitely come for the pies but come early to have the most options.
