Iconic cafe
There are indoor and outdoor (covered and uncovered) options and the staff was incredibly friendly and kind. Staff spoke at least French and English (unsure about other additional languages). Would definitely go again. Stopped for breakfast and got the Hemingway, which included picking an egg option, bread option, a juice option and hot beverage option. A separate bread basket came with breakfast as well. Yes, the cost is more than a typical cafe but the portions were large, particularly when including the bread basket, which was great and I was not hungry again until dinner.

We were created warmly and showed to a table in the covered outside area. It was a warm Friday lunchtime so it was very busy. Our waiter was chaotic and we struggled to keep him listening long enough to take all of our orders. Our food was ok but not great, for example the salad on the side of my pate en croute had no dressing or seasoning. I asked for some sauté potatoes to have alongside my cod main that would have just come with vegetables, and he brought it without any vegetables just potatoes. The patisserie tray came round for dessert and my friends enjoyed their pastries but they were not special and were €16 a pop! Overall it was ok but it was the most expensive meal we had while in Paris and as it was only lunchtime, we only had a little wine, so I found it overpriced

This is a fantastic Case. The street has two next to each other but in my opinion this one is superior. The service is excellent. We sat for a couple of hours in the sun just having a few drinks. Simply did not want to leave.
Be the first to ReplyGood but very expensive
Very nice place. Impeccable service especially on the terrace. However, the prices do not reflect the quality of the food: the cuisine rests on its laurels.
Be the first to ReplyFRENCH FINANCE AND FRENCH FLAVORS IN THE HEART OF PARIS!
This wonderful cafe is in the heart of Paris with a wonderful classic atmosphere, perfectly qualified staff, always willing, helpful and welcoming! As for the variety of coffees, there is no comparison with other coffees in the same category, they are the best at Cafe Les Deux Magots and in a wide variety! And we move on to the delicious part of the coffee, what can I try all the dishes perfectly and with French finesse arranged visually and tastefully! As for the sweets, a wide range with French flavor and refinement, you don't know what to choose first and what to taste first, everything is wonderful! Definitely go to CAFE LES DEUX MAGOTS!

Historic Parisian café, very interesting especially for its famous past patrons. I had a delicious hot chocolate. I enjoyed going there!
Be the first to ReplyBreakfasts
Very disappointing breakfasts. Omelette and cold bacon eggs. Even hot drinks were cold. Unripe fruit salad. Pleasant but overwhelmed server. Three breakfasts 100 euros. It's no longer the 2 hoards we knew.
Be the first to ReplyVery Parisian and more literary café.
Very nice typical Parisian café with maximum crowds. Dinner was very good and very plentiful. Just one main course and dessert and you come out full. Wine at a reasonable price. I liked.

4 out of 5 visits to Paris have brought me to Les Deux Magots. It never disappoints, and today was no exception! From our extremely friendly greeting by Hostess Lea to our service provided by Thomas F., the experience was what one expects from one of Paris’ top-notch iconic brasseries. We thoroughly enjoyed the foie gras paired with a Gewürztraminer, the rillettes d’oie and a classic croque monsieur. Thank you for another wonderful experience!

Cafe Deux Magots is one of my wife’s favorite cafes in Paris. It is located in the beautiful 6th arrondissement and is charming beyond description. The waiters are attentive in that wonderful Parisian way that takes pride in their work and doesn’t rush you out the door. My wife speaks decent enough French to get by but the staff here is comfortable with English so there are no communication issues. We had a couple of wonderful breakfasts on this visit and will definitely be back. Enjoy!

Very very bad manners from the waiter. He kicked us out because kids didn't want something to drink!! He was so upset that he was collecting the tray very badly in front of us!Omg. It's somewhere we won't be going again and I don't recommend it to others!!!!!

Despite an important literary pedigree, this restaurant has become a tourist trap. I ate here alone and was all but ignored by a rude staff who interacted with all patrons in the area where I was seated with disdain -- and made us wait long stretches between courses and to receive our checks, despite the fact that there were very few people in the resturant. The food was OK but not special, and was very expensive for what was served. I am a frequent repeating visitor to Paris for business and pleasure and tend to frequent out of the way small bistros run by owner/family/chefs. They deserve your business. Please look them up!

Great food. Wonderful ambience. Touch of quirky history. Smile, try a speaking a little French and you will have great service. Don’t forget in France you have to ask for the check. Drinks and food - can’t go wrong.

We had this place on our list to try when vacationing in Paris, service and food were both great and a nice location to walk around.

My daughter and I noticed this place on Ina Garten’s Instagram feed - and now we know why she highlighted it! It is a wonderful place! The serve a weekend brunch for 50 euros that was superb! Eggs, tartine, omelette, sandwiches, and wow the desserts! A lovely street cafe with plenty of outdoor seating.

really horrible service, over priced. Took an extremely long time to serve my friends and I who are all POC versus the table of white people next to us who arrived after us
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced tourist trap.
Menu is wayyyyy overpriced and the food does not make any sense. Raisins and green beans in a chicken salad, really? There was nothing for the kids to order, we had to make due with fries and vegetables. Why on earth someone who is not a wannabe influencer would choose to eat here over all the choices in the whole of Paris is beyond me.
Be the first to ReplyA historic cafe
The food is a little on the expensive side, but I was lucky enough to be treated to it by a client that I was meeting. There was only one vegan option, too. But it was great to visit such a historic cafe and to trace Hemingway's footsteps.

This corner cafe is busy but they get you seated and served quickly with great dishes. You can eat light or hearty, have just drinks or dessert. I highly recommend the Mojito!
