Little Alley Steak Atlanta Reviews from The Last Year
Ate here about a month ago, in town on business, staying at
Ate here about a month ago, in town on business, staying at Whitley. Easy walk from hotel to here. Had dinner with two coworkers here. Mixed experience. For the price I expect a perfect experience. My total for myself with a single drink was about 180. The inside is nice and I would call it intimate. More date night place than business dinner, but liked it was fine for business as well. The bar service was odd. We started with a drink at the bar while we waited on our on coworker to show. My old fashioned was serviceable. Bartenders I guess were coming on shift or transferring but were really chatty with each other, kind of annoying so. Then there seemed to be confusion about transferring tab to table, or closing it out. Table service was good. Food, I don't recall exactly what they got, but one coworker was happy with his aged ribeye, other got a seafood something and thought it was just ok. In restaurant defense, its a steak place... Now that being said my aged bone in filet was extremely unevenly cooked. Here's the problem in situations like this, I could send back, but it wasn't badly over done so was edible, if you send back then you sit there and watch the others eat, then hold everyone up watching you eat. Sweet potato side was good but we joked it should really be a dessert, wouldn't get again for dinner. My favorite part of meal was brussel sprout side, so good. For a restaurant at this price point I have high expectations. So I judge a little more harshly, especially when the thing that is their main thing isn't perfect. I usually try to compare to other restaurants of similar category, but dont know Atlanta well yet. Maybe will revise when I try other local steak place. If you are ever in OKC suggest Cattleman's for steak.
Went here last night for our anniversary.
The food and service was amazing. The black truffle butter on my filet really took the steak to another level. Definitely will return.
Great atmosphere, Very good service - Our group tried both
Great atmosphere, Very good service - Our group tried both the wet and dry aged Steaks . They were great. Would definitely Recommend. 1-Location 5/5 2-Atmosphere 5/5 3-Service 5/5 4-Quality 5/5 5-Price 4/5
Delicious food, even though lacking true Southern hospitality
The food is absolutely delicious. One of the best steaks we have ever had. Extensive wine list. Very chill, moody vibe inside. Our server was wonderful and very helpful in ordering and attentive. That being said, you need to keep a few things in mind before you choose to dine here… ~They do require a CC to hold a reservation, which if you do not show, they will charge $50/person. ~They have a very strict dress policy~My husband was stopped at the door, unknowingly wearing a nice Oakley pullover with a hood, and was told he had to remove it before entering. This was fine, this is their establishment and they may set the rules. However, this was done, not in a kind, understanding, true warm Southern way, but very rudely. This was not a good first impression. ~The steaks are high end so high priced, the sides are an extra cost but shareable for 2-3 people, and for our party of 5 they did automatically take out a 20% tip. You may want to review the menu prior and order according to your budget.
Been here several times and usually don't have too many
Been here several times and usually don't have too many complaints. Had a disagreement with the hostess and whoever is in the front that makes the decision on whether or not the patrons dress code is deemed appropriate for the restaurant. I had a small rip in my jeans so I was initially turned away. After speaking with a manager I was allowed in. I've frequented every fine dining restaurant in atl and have never had any previous issues. This last visit was my worst experience here. I've parked at the restaurant many times, from my Porsches to Lamborghini, and this last time my McLaren. Sometimes they'll allow me to park myself and other times they'll say it isn't allowed. Had an issue with the attendant at chops breaking my parking break clutch in the McLaren before so I like to park my own vehicles. Anyway this time I wasn't allowed to park it myself. Upon leaving I noticed there was a camero parked extremely close to my car and my car had been moved from where valet initially had parked it. I had a full detail before dinner and inspected it after completion. No issues. I get home from little alley my $5k wrap had been damaged. Guessing an attendant opening a door accidentally scraped it. Now onto dinner, ordered a filet and a ribeye. Both medium well. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. The filet was served medium rare. Had to send it back and then received a lesson as to the differences in temperatures of steaks lol. The filet appetizer on the sticky rice is one of my favorite appetizers in atl, extremely tasty. Although I love the decor, lighting, spacing and overall ambience of the restaurant I doubt I'll be back anytime soon!
The five stars are for the food, ambiance and the service.
The place is laid out very nice, it's dim, clean, and classy environment. The steaks are definitely some of the most flavorful I've ever tasted. It will probably be 1 or 2 on your list from places in Atlanta. Our waitress was great. She gave suggestions, checked on us constantly and gave us samples of the wine to make sure we had the perfect match to go with our food. Now... the sides.... I'll give them 3 stars. A lot of reviews say "this is the best I've ever had, etc" and that was definitely not the case for me. They are not bad, but they were far from great. The Creme Brûlée was great though. That's one of the best I've had.
I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion
I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion or dinner! You need a reservation, and they seem very crowded. There's valet parking and a parking deck across the street (ticket can be validated at the restaurant). SERVICE: Very amazing waiters. They gave very helpful recommendations accommodated to your taste. They were very attentive, and the food came out quickly. They take care of you well, and I saw an upset couple who didn't enjoy their order so the waiters offered dessert on the house for them. AMBIANCE: The place itself is stunning, and the dress-code is definitely on the nicer, more formal end. The outside seating is so pretty, but the indoor seating is even more beautiful. There's wine bottles everywhere, and the indoor seating is dark but filled with glass lighting. There's plenty of seating, and I believe there is an upstairs area, too. FOOD: - They gave bread at the beginning; nothing special, but it was fluffy and hot! - 12 oz New York Strip (USDA Prime Cut) with Rosemary Butter - 9.5/10: I loved this steak; certainly one of my favorite steaks ever. I got medium rare, but the texture was perfect. The outside was crispy while the inside was very soft and easy to cut. My only suggestion is that it very salty, so I might recommend not adding the extra sauce (rosemary butter) on top. Other than that, I was so happy with the steak. - Triple Cream Mac & cheese - 8/10: It was very tasty and creamy, but the flavor was very one-note. It got too heavy and monotonous after one-third of the dish. The flavor itself was delicious, and the crumbs on top gave a really nice contrast texture from the creamy pasta.
Delicious food.
Sides were shareable. great service. Enjoyed the evening. Worth every penny.
The food was great.
The service was amazing of attention to details, making sure that everything was taken care of. We didn't have to wait for anything in the ambience was beautiful and as quiet.
Hello, I took my wife out to dinner as a suprise on
Hello, I took my wife out to dinner as a suprise on Valentine's Day (2/14/2024) last Wednesday. I left my car with the valet before we entered the restaurant Little Alley Steak. When we left the restaurant that evening I went to retrieve my car from the valet. When I saw my vehicle I was shocked to see that there had been some damage on the passenger side. As you can see in the pictures that I took that evening, it looks like my car was side swiped by another vehicle. I then spoke to the supervisor Austin A. He had informed me that he would look into it and that I would hear from him or someone else by Monday about how this had happened and what would be done to repair my vehicle. I'd like to know how the damage to my vehicle will be repaired Thank you!
Little Alley another Neighborhood Gem.
Little Alley food is Chef Kiss, a Steak House that truly knows how to present a high-end Steak. Their patio Ambiance is the perfect place for an evening dinner or a Sunday Brunch. Inside Little Alley beautiful Atmosphere with a nice dining area. My favorite dish is Blue Point Oysters. I love how they serve smoking Oysters definitely a photography moment. Service is never the same. Sometimes extremely slow with vast inconsistencies. The Food won't disappoint.
Excellent steaks and wine
A very accommodating restaurant with delicious food and a great wine selection. I took a ribeye which came perfectly cooked, the California wine was one of the best I have ever tasted. Really enjoyed the dinner and highly recommend it for any good occasion, budget to be observed though.
By far my favourite restaurant
excellent service provided. Daniel and Brianna are just two of the best servers I have ever met in US restaurants. Thank you
A Lobster Appetizer That Broke the Bank and a Mysterious Cocktail Upcharge
I visited Little Alley Steakhouse with high hopes, eager to try their cuisine and enjoy a night out. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by deceptive pricing and questionable cocktail charges that left me feeling disappointed and duped. To begin, I ordered a lobster appetizer that was listed on the menu for just over $30. Imagine my shock when I received the bill and discovered that I was charged a staggering $110 for this dish. The cost was simply unjustifiable. Eager to share this tasty treat with my companion, we ordered a second plate, only to be charged $220 for the two appetizers. This pricing discrepancy transformed what could have been a delightful dining experience into an infuriating ordeal. The troubles did not end there. I decided to order a red sangria from the cocktail menu. To my dismay, I discovered that I had been upcharged by $4 for the addition of St. Germaine, an ingredient I did not request. To make matters worse, I could not even detect the distinct flavor of St. Germaine in my drink. It left me questioning the integrity of the establishment. Overall, my experience at Little Alley Steakhouse was nothing short of disappointing. The deceptive pricing on the lobster appetizer and the unrequested addition to my cocktail have left me with no desire to return. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to others. If you choose to dine here, be prepared to scrutinize your bill closely and brace yourself for possible unpleasant surprises.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |

Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Newbie sellers— how fast do your reservations sell?
I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

I posted a request for a reservation this Thursday between 6:30 and 8 pm and initially the potential seller said it would be fulfilled by today. Now they changed it that they will only fulfill it by 5pm that same day. Basically I would have an hour and a half to get to the restaurant. Is this allowed?

This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
