Great first experience
Parking was not bad, there are some lots around. We arrived before the church crowd and enjoyed the three course brunch, my boss (wife) got the bottomless sangria too. We shared several of the dishes and they were all great. The favorites were the smoked salmon montaditos, Bulla burger, huevos Bulla and the torrejas (the churros were a close second dessert). We are still full from the brunch and probably we are not having dinner!

Visiting family before the holiday rush. My son suggested Bulla. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the multi-sensory treat the smells, visual presentation, and of course the flavors were excellent. Topping it off: fantastic service from our attententive, friendly and efficient waitress, Emily. Highly recommended!

My husband and I came for brunch and loved it. We didn’t the Bruch Pix! It’s a little expensive; but well worth it! The apps, main dish, and dessert were delicious.

Fantastic lunch with friends! We order tapas, excellent! our waitress was very helpful and nice. One person in our group is a native from Valencia Spain and said that the Paella was authentic’ great complement. The atmosphere was pleasant. We recomend this place and will certainly come back.

Food is quite good but the portions are very mean.Any body that has been in Spain would have experienced the generosity of the portions of food served in restaurants, even tapas bar,and if you combine that with the fact that no body has bigger portions of food than the USA, it just doesn’t add up!
Be the first to ReplyBulla restaurant elevator stuck last night. No one at restaurant helped, not even apology
Group of 8 got on elevator to go to roof top bar. Elevator doors would not open, emergency call button to fire department did not work. Group had to call themselves from inside elevator to fire department to get doors open. It took 30 minutes to get out. Not an apology, free drink nothing from restaurant to the group!

Last Sunday was my birthday, I love tapas, I've visited in Spain many times, my father was from Asturias, and I've been in many restaurants with a similar kind of menu, so we decided to go to this restaurant in Tampa. The portions, even for tapas, were very small. Two of the tapas we ordered were the chorizo and the Iberico ham, they placed them both on the same plate, and even together, they looked poorly served. Four slices of chorizo so thin you can see through them, and four very tiny and translucent pieces of ham. The croquetas were acceptable as well as the patatas bravas. Two persons in our party of four ordered short ribs, not even two full forks were needed to finish the plate, a plate that costs $23. I ordered cannelloni, they were a joke, and they cost $18. First and last time, not a smart selection to celebrate a birthday, or any occasion for that matter, we were not happy at all. Cepas in Tampa, way better, we should have gone there instead, better portions, better pricing, we even ordered bottles of wine from their own cellar, and we didn't even expend half of what we paid at Bulla. If you are young and you like that gastrobar kind of vibe, you may like it, but if you are looking for a real Spanish tapas experience, please, don't waste your time, much less your money.

This is a very modern Spanish Gastropub. I have had most of the items on the menu finding them all to be excellent. The service is always courteous and highly professional. Bulla has a gracious ambiance about it. Always a great experience at Bulla.
Be the first to ReplyGreat lunch at Bulla
Had a great lunch at Bulla. The food was excellent, interesting twists on Iberian classics. Servings are generous. Good wines by the glass, good espresso. The price to quality ratio was superb. The kids menu was also excellent. The service was great. We especially appreciated the kindness of our server Maya towards our toddler granddaughter and small dog. Clean, spacious, modern decor. Despite its name, for lunch it was quiet and suitable for conversation. (The evening vibe at their Coral Gables location does live up to the name.) Great neighborhood. Interior and exterior seating. Highly recommend.

When we first got here the initial impression was disappointing because we felt the people at the bar were not very warm or inviting, customers and employees. However, our bartender ended up being great. The food and drinks were amazing. I'm excited to experience more of their food.

FANTASTIC, PROFESSIONAL, SUPER-TASTY. AWESOME TAPAS, Exceptional Flavor and menu variety. Myah is an excellent server and clearly cares about her clients’ experiences. She should be managing that place. Bulla gives you a multi-cultural cuisine at another so crazy price. We LOVE YOU GUYS!!
Be the first to ReplyReally good, chilled rooftop bar
We happened to be there during happy hour (5-7) and the cocktails were only $7 (and delicious). The Lemongrass Collins was a personal favourite. We also had the olives and chicken flatbread from the tapas rooftop menu and both were delicious. The tapas downstairs in the main restaurant smelled amazing too but unfortunately was booked out! Overall great place
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely the best!!!
Had a fantastic time. Dinner downstairs was delicious. We retired to the rooftop bar which was very busy and bustling and had the most amazing service. We were so happy to see Sam! Her service and energy are electric and nothing short of extraordinary!!! We will be back specifically for her!!! She's top of the line for sure.
Be the first to ReplyHappy birthday dinner!
Perfect place for our food palate! Great choice to celebrate birthday while visiting Tampa. Kudos to chef and the serving crew. We’ll be back again! The only suggestion would be to get better lighting, it is bit too dark.
Be the first to ReplyCold food?
Friendly staff, nice ambiance, good plate presentation., but must of us made comments about the “room temperature” food, to include my soup., tasty but cold! And what about being out Spanish tortilla de patata! This only take less than an hour to cook. And running out of ham? This is supposed to be a Spanish cosine restaurant. Lastly, no gluten free bread.
Be the first to ReplyOne Word - WOW!
I came here last Fall with my parents for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised with Bulla! It's Spanish tapas style so we ordered a series of different plates and picked at everything. I do have a gluten allergy so I was limited on what I ordered, but enjoyed the plates that I was able to try. The waitress was knowledgable and was able to guide me through the menu. I recommend starting with the hummus - I don't think I've ever tried one THAT good.

We ate there today and it was amazing! Our waitress was Agatha and she was great; very attentive and on top of everything. It’s a bit pricy, but well worth it. My husband has the grilled octopus and said it was probably one of the best things he’s ever eaten. I had the brunch 3 courses and everything was wonderful. We will definitely eat there again.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and great service
Great food and great service. Our son and his girlfriend go to college in Tampa, and this is one of their favorite places to eat when other people are paying. [More on that later.]
Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and efficient, everything you want in a server. One very nice touch: I tried a cocktail that I really didn’t like at all (well made, just not my taste), she noticed I wasn’t drinking it, and she told me to choose another on the house. [I like trying things I’ve never heard of … it was a Kalimotxo, and according to the menu it’s a “Basque classic” of red wine and Coca-Cola. I replaced it with a delicious Bougie Palmer, recommended by my son’s girlfriend, a cocktail of Tito’s vodka, lemon, and peach oolong lavender syrup.]
Only one of us ordered an entree … my son’s grilled steak was delicious and cooked to perfect temperature, and the accompanying cheese grits were delicious.
And then there was the parade of tapas, each one a treat. Cannelloni, chicken croquettes (NOTHING like the USA or Mexican or Cuban versions), grilled octopus, patatas bravas, sautéed garlic shrimp, chorizo cheese dip, and tuna tartare. Even the grilled vegetables plate was a delight.
For four people: Four drinks, one entree, eight small plates, and a 22% tip, totaled $218. VERY well worth it, and I can’t wait to go back! But it’s understandable why our college students don’t go there unless someone else is paying. :-)
Spaniard enjoying Tampa 👏🏽
Several things in the menu are truly dishes from Spain and they were tasty and genuine. The service in this place was absolutely awesome and they went out of their way to please us and cooperate with small special requests. They were excellent in this. Considering all matters this a great choice for enjoying a taste of Spain. Congrats! 💃🏽
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous sunsets from the rooftop!!!
We visited while on our anniversary trip a few weeks ago and it was wonderful sitting atop the building at the rooftop bar!!! The sunsets was gorgeous and reflected off the skyscrapers in the distance. The breeze was wonderful and the service fantastic. We loved sitting up there, enjoying libations, snacking, and watching all the people come and go!!!

Had a great dinner, sat outdoors, and the food was delicious. Excellent waitstaff. Try the lentil soup and many other tapas dishes fantastic too.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Spanish restaurant @Tampa
We went there with a couple of our friend and tried out a few small plates and Paella
The best in small plates were the chicken croquettes- they were the best
Other times we tried were the sautéed shrimp ,fried calamari , fried artichoke and the flatbread
The portion and taste were great and it’s a place to go back again
The seafood paella was also very tasty and had a good amount of seafood
The ambience and vibe was great and our water Chris was very nice and helpful
We tired a Spanish red Cabernet bottle and it was really good too
Some of our friends tried the Sangria and it’s also highly suggested
So disappointed
The atmosphere was trendy. The wine was pretty good. The food - horrible. My husband and I ordered a few appetizers - the chorizo stuffed figs and the fried artichoke hearts. Both were decent - the figs were good - much better than the artichoke hearts which were mostly fried breading. The seafood paella, however, which should have been the highlight of our dining experience, was like dry, seasoned rice - not brothiness at all - and the shrimp was like rubber. This dish was overcooked and a complete disappointment compared to other paellas we've had at other restaurants. We will never eat here again. Complete disappointment.
