Minimum portions. Bad attention. They just want you to leave.
The place is super simple and the service is bad. It seems like they don't feel like serving and they just want you to eat quickly and leave. The tables are crooked, the benches are moving, the music on the back table is glued to the speaker and is stunning, you can't talk. They only take the entire order at once and you cannot ask for more. They don't explain the dishes well. They have a bad predisposition. The food is OK but the experience is terrible. The portions are very small (that's why it seems cheap but it's not that cheap). I would not go back.

Service is great. They dont take reservations. You may need to wait outside for a little. Be ready to have a drink while waiting. You need to ask for your food at once.
Be the first to ReplyLung Yai Thai Tapas, worth the hype in my opinion
If you are in Miami and looking for a dinner spot, Lung Yai is it! My husband and I arrived early in Miami for our cruise and needed some dinner. He found this place after reading some reviews and we ubered over. There was a short wait on a Sunday night, but it was so worth it. The food was delicious. The service was so good. We sat at a table on the sidewalk and still the service was impeccable. Highly recommend this place! We had the crispy wings and crispy spring rolls to start. The wings were great but the spring rolls were the best I've had. Then we shared the pad thai with pork and the massaman curry with beef. Both dishes were amazing, and the portion size was perfect. If you drink, try the passionfruit sake or soju, I don't remember which it is. I've seen complaints about the pricing for the amount of food you get. I didn't find it unreasonable at all. We are from West Michigan and the prices are very comparable.

2.35โญ๏ธI heard a lot of hype about this place. It looks like a hidden gem, and I was excited about it! The bench we were sitting on was โdancing,โ because you had to sit together on it with other guests, but still better than other seating, which are folding small chairs. They are uncomfortable and shaky/unstable, both for you and your food. The floors are dirty, and overall, it doesnโt look hygienic. And if you sit outside, I feel even worse for you. Starting with Crispy Rolls, which came cold in the middle, but after addressing that, they replaced it, which was fair. All in all, average Thai food, nothing special. โOne-time orderโ is there for fast $$$$ turnaround and so they can get rid of you fast. โTrying to accommodate everyoneโ is a lame excuse. I never saw that in my life. I donโt understand how that is acceptable in the hospitality business. Ultimately kills customer satisfaction, experience, and enjoyment We felt rushed, plus the obnoxiously loud music makes you leave faster. 18% gratuity included for poor and unfriendly service; not all of them, some guys from the kitchen are nice. The portions were small and expensive. Food was okay but nothing special, but four people left hungry after spending $137. Not worth a 30-minute wait, and I see some people wait even more. I donโt understand how people say this is โthe best Thai in Miami.โ Did you ever have Thai? I was really hoping this to be a gem, a hole in a wall, but I canโt lie to youโฆ
Be the first to ReplyWhat a disappointment of a place
The food was so below average and the place was such a dump (you are sitting in a crappy alley on very uncomfortable tables in a place that smells bad). We hoped the food would be great, but it was just ok. To top it all off the service was so rude. Well why would you come back?! Itโs a shame because we had high hopes for a great meal there.

Pleasantly surprised. I say that because in the past I traveled often on business to Thailand and got to eat the delicious authentic food there. When I eat Thai food in other countries it often does not measure up to what I had in Thailand. I was in the mood for shrimp Pad Thai and it was very good as were the dishes of my 4 companions. Friendly people running the place are from Thailand. If you want Thai, here you won't go wrong
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Thai Food In Basic Restaurant
I would highly recommended this place for the food but not the ambience although we really enjoyed the whole experience. We stumbled across this place in Little Havana, by the time we left there was a queue in the street. You ordered from an online menu and the idea is you order food only once and it comes quite quickly - the quality of the food is very high. I wouldnโt say they rush you but it is not somewhere you are going to spend a long time. The staff are friendly and match the quick tempo.

Awesome Thai restaurant. Street side dinning available. Great atmosphere with music. Food was excellent and in perfect portions. Service was top notch. Highly recommend Pad Kee Mao.

Amazing Thai Food! Absolutely delicious and if you want your dishes spicy just ask. Friendly service too, this place has it all. Loved every dish and we will be back for sure!
Be the first to ReplyBest Pad Thai in Miami
Honestly I know the service may suck but thatโs because thereโs always such a high demand to sit and eat this restaurant, although it is a hole in the wall, itโs honestly the best hidden gem Miami has.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible attitude
We have gone several times to this place, but last night was the last.
Not very friendly from start, and additionally 4 of the dishes we initially ordered were not available. Ended up asking what did they have? The food is good, but the rudeness and poor attitude kill the experience.
Lot's of other places more friendly and needing of my business.
Great food
The wait can be long but it is worth it! You will not be disappointed with the food. You can only order once so make sure you order enough for left overs.
Be the first to ReplyOwner is rude
They are rude. Our visit was a disaster. They didnโt allow us to wait inside the restaurant. We were a party of 5. The Owner is rude and yelled at us I donโt need you and even worse comments! Of course we did not have dinner in that place. We are not planning to do it ever. Spread the word around.
