Great! Super fresh, good vibe, good drinks…
Went here for dinner and drinks, excellent. Had the red snapper and branzino and both dishes were served hot, well seasoned, and beautiful presentation. Excellent service. Will absolutely be back.
Be the first to ReplyMuch noise and little chicha.
Trendy place in Soho, reasonable prices for the area. However, the quality can be greatly improved. The oysters are good, a detail to put one of each to try them all. The salmon tiradito is good, but very scarce. The rolls are the worst, nothing remarkable. Good wines by the glass, they have albarino. The service is correct, yes, the place could not be noisier, it is impossible to have a conversation without raising your voice.

I have been frequenting this restaurant since it opened, but after Covid the quality of the food worsened considerably. Very popular and great location in Soho, but I don't recommend it
Be the first to ReplyVery, very tasty
Great fish restaurant in the middle of SoHo. Very tasty food and spent half a fortune... 😉 Except for the price, everything was great. Lobster pasta, tuna tataki, watermelon salad, etc. Highly recommended for those who don't watch every penny.
Be the first to ReplyRoyal Treatment and Excellent dinner at Lure!!!
this was the second time we went to Lure, and we were treated ROYALLY again!! We brought my brother and sister-in-law ( her big birthday), and the managers, the waitress and Chef Preston Clark treated us like we were celebrities,( which we are not, and they are used to serving real celebrities!!!) The food was excellent !!! Can't wait to come back, the next time I visit NYC!! A VERY special place that makes their customers feel truly special!!
Be the first to ReplyWe can't wait to come back to Lure Fishbar!!!
My wife and I ate at Lure for brunch on a busy Saturday in December. We went based on a recommendation from a friend. We both agree that our experience at Lure was the BEST restaurant experience we had our entire 4 days in NYC!!! We had a reservation and were seated promptly on time. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he made our meal so fun! The oysters and deviled eggs were perfect, perhaps the best I've ever had. Shrimp tempura was brilliantly prepared. However, what made our day was the lovely conversation we had with General Manager, Orran. He made sure our experience exceeded expectations and he absolutely nailed it! It's lovely people like Orran that are so valuable to a dining experience. Most restaurants don't understand this. But Lure Fishbar (and Orran) are at the TOP of the list and we will most definitely return one day!

Very cool atmosphere, very moody and vibey. Food was great and portions were exceptional. Came here for the crispy tuna rice and it was good, but not as great as people hyped it up to be. Lobster Mac and tempura shrimp were fantastic and were huge portions. Hellfire roll was good but nothing to write home about. Would come again and try other things
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, design and service
We had a great meal at Lure. Crab cake, lobster bisque, sushi - yum! Cool design, delicious food and attentive service from Costa!
Be the first to ReplyGood to be back !
Visited here 11 years ago on our wedding anniversary, so decided to revisit before we headed to the baseball in Queens Had a great meal, sharing crab chowder, numerous sushi and some deserts washed down with a poully fume Was funny sharing some of our pics from 11 years ago with the staff who gave us the deserts complimentary!! thanks for that !! I’m sure we’ll pop in next time we’re in NY
Be the first to ReplyA little disappointing
Was excited to try this restaurant after seeing it on CBS Saturday Morning, but left feeling a little disappointed. It is extremely loud! Everyone is leaning in to talk to the person next to them or almost yelling to others if sitting with a large group. My husband ordered a beer; I opted for a glass of something similar to Sauvignon Blanc. Our server suggested Sancerre which was very good but price was listed as $22 on his menu, $23 on my menu & $20 on the website! We ordered the Tempura Shrimp as an appetizer. Tasted like fried shrimp and only had a drizzle of sesame mayo. Our entrees, Steamed Red Snapper and Miso Salmon were excellent and service was outstanding.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
We decided to go after seeing Lure on The Dish. What a disappointing experience. Every dish we had was mediocre at its best. I had the Tuna Tataki which was dried out with rubbery burned "stuff" on top. The special Kenai role was more cucumber than anything else. The Blue Point oysters were unusually small, no taste. The deviled eggs had no taste whatsoever. It is very loud, with dive bar music, and uncomfortable chairs. Why this restaurant ever landed on the Dish is difficult to understand.
Be the first to ReplyBring Ear Plugs!
This place is a typical NYC crap hole. High prices. High noise levels. Lots of hype. No substance, no value, not worth the time or pricetag! OMG- what can I say about a restaurant that is SO NOISY that it makes you want to vomit. Anyone sensitive to noise should stay out of this cesspool. It's unbearable! The drinks are good. Well, you order top shelf booze - how can it be messed up? Especially for 20 bucks with a big brick ice cube in the center of the small glass? The sushi is good, too, but too expensive. Six very small pieces of an eel and avocado roll should not cost $14. The burger has about as much meat as a patty at Hardees. Ordered medium rare, it came medium well. The bun was a typical burger bun. Not even a nice brioche. Fries were cold. For $27 that should be considered illegal! The eggs benny looked like they were sitting around. Hollandaise started to look dull and develop a skin. Eggs were cooked well but also cold. An English muffin that seemed like Thomas' out of the package and aslo - yep, you guessed it. Cold. Greasy potato on the side. If you want to feel fabulous and get an expensive cocktail and suthi - go. Enjoy. But this place is not for people who understand quality and food. It's your typical NYC overpriced real-estate supporting tragedy. It's just so wrong. An illusion! LURE you in and once you're hooked, you whip out your credit card and watch your bank account disappear. And people!!!! Don't wear hiking gear to brunch! OK? This is NYC. A once sophisticated town with culture and taste and style. I couldn't believe all the sweats, backward baseball caps and poor fitting polyester rags. It's a noisy mess.
Be the first to ReplyHighly recommend! Great Service & Food!
There is no doubt that our next visit to NYC will include a visit to Lure. From the Old Fashion to the Grappa, with scrumptious food in between it was an excellent dining experience. For a Wednesday night the place was packed and vibrant. Very impressed with the service.
Be the first to ReplyUnprofessional
I made a reservation for here in advance for the night we arrived from the Uk. When we got to the restaurant we were told there was a private event on and they had cancelled all bookings. I had not received an email or phone call. This ruined our 1st night in NY.
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience!
Service ,ambiance and food all on point. Sushi and bronzino were delicious. Best espresso martini ever! Wonderful staff! Looking forward to next visit.
Be the first to ReplyService was too 'personal'
The food was good, yet overpriced in my opinion (I had better sushi for much less $$). Service was very intensive. Servers constantly were at our table to pour the bear from the can into my glass and to remove items from the table (paper cover of chopsticks, empty plates etc.). It was hard to talk and enjoy the meal when every minute or two some hands will introduce into our space and move between our plates while we eat. It felt very uncomfortable.
Be the first to ReplyManager created horrible atmosphere
The food at The Lure Sea Food was good, but there was a manager who was creating a lot of tension with the staff that it was palpable. I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated,
Be the first to ReplyGreat
The whole fish was fantastic! The restaurant is beautiful too and the ambiance was good too, a bit loud if you want to be romantic but ok.
Be the first to ReplyVery noisy
Obviously a very popular place. The lady on the front desk does an amazing job of getting everyone seated. The food was good, as was the service but they jam so many covers in that it is just too crowded and super noisy, it's like being in a club, one needs to shout above the music and mass of diners.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent dining experiences
We had a wonderful experience! Amazing food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we dined again for dinner in the same week. Outstanding both times. Thank you so much!
Be the first to ReplyManager Marcus Lawrence made it perfect !!
Great Experience and Great Food. Manager Marcus Lawrence took great care of us. He had a table set up on time and service was excellent all around. Great job Marcus ! He went above and beyond !

Stopped here by "accident" for lunch while visiting NYC.
Beautiful setup, very nice service and excellent food and wines.
Warm atmosphere, good menu selection.
Recommended.
A must-go NYC Staple of Food & Nightlife Scene
I went for a special dinner with a friend who was visiting NYC for 2 nights. I witnessed the maitre'ds - the hard-working young women - were very professional and patient with a line and crowd wanting to go inside on a Friday night. I felt very welcome, well taken care of and we had an incredible experience. I started visiting Lure Bar when it opened, and haven't been back for several years and I am happy to see the restaurant thrive. Thank you! Wishing you all a wonderful & safe holiday season!
Be the first to ReplyNoisy, overpriced
Totally underwhelmed. The waiters were nice enough, but the food was meh and very expensive. The dining room is jammed with people who cannot hear each other so they scream ever more loudly, so the overall effect is like sitting next to a fighter jet on take-off. I'll never go there again.
Be the first to ReplyOver-priced!!!!
We had dinner at Lure on Friday evening and were COMPLETELY underwhelmed by the food, which was HUGELY over-priced! The service was great, but that was the only thing we can compliment. We were lucky to be sitting outside, because the noise level inside this beautiful restaurant was unbearable. We had a hard time hearing the three hostesses telling us they couldn't find our reservation. My hamburger for $25 was mediocre and the french fries were not hot. The website says there is a Happy Hour until 7P M-F, but we were informed there isn't one any longer because of COVID, but that the website hadn't been update. Oddly, the website has been updated to inform customers about a 10% COVID surcharge. Oh, well. We will not be returning.
