We have been to multiple restaurants but this place by far has surpassed all of them in terms of service. We came to visit New York and decided to try some Michelin star restaurants. They can only be booked a month ahead. Masa is located at the fourth floor of the time warner center. Unfortunately they do not allow taking picture of the food. It's 26 courses with option to add some. First 7 courses (originally 6 as we added the Ohmi beef tataki with truffles - additional $170) were appetizers which were all amazing! Our favorites were the stone crab with aoli and especially the roasted see urchin. The sushi courses were all good. Everything came from japan but they did mention one of the most expensive ingredient they use is their fresh wasabi. For the dessert, we tried the truffle ice cream which is EPIC! A truly wonderful experience. Oh, and if you want to see chef Masa and take pics with him, make sure to get the earlier times between 5-8pm.
