I recently went to Millie's after a lacrosse game with my fellow lacrosse coaches. The facility is nice. They have an outdoor/indoor section that is covered away in the back. Personally, I love their quesadillas specifically their shrimp quesadilla. Without fail this quesadilla hits every single time. Our host was Olivia. She did a great job accounting for everyone in our group (about 10 people). Big shout out to Jesse for showing us a good time as well. Look forward to going back.

Super-busy, friendly bistro with a great menu amidst terrific surroundings. Casual-chic. Nice seafood specialties to pick up on the beach resort theme. Salads are standouts, including the steak salad. Good cocktail offerings. Paid parking in back. Make a reservation.

Young, male bartender was distracted frequently and spent more time at the service station, talking to co-workers, than watching their bar. We had to ask for both rounds, drink refills, silverware, and napkins, even when the food came out! Bartender had little knowledge of the menu and we finally had to ask them to go ask a manager some basic food questions. Food was underwhelming and someone in our party got sick, even after we had the bartender ask about allergies. Probably okay for drinks, if you can get the bartenders attention. Would skip for food and a meal.

We came here for a birthday dinner and honestly I can't say one nice thing about anything we ate. Everything is simple and processed type food. Jar salsa and queso dip with bag chips. Lobster roll was on a toasted old and very cold roll. NY strip was a quarter of inch thin with no taste. Tacos are plain and simple. Not one thing to brag about. A mistake was made on one of the dinners and it took for ever for them to bring back the same meal with the correct side. No manager follow up insight. The 2 stars are for the nice waitress who felt embarrassed for our obvious experience.

Convenient take-out options which has been convenient during the pandemic. Nice ice cream take-out window for the summer time, fun to bring kids there. Usually go for the drinks rather than the food. They have good frose and other frozen drinks and an expansive patio which is great for people watching while social distancing.

This restaurant is by far one of the best I have ever been to. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was superb. The service is 1 in a million. All around incredible business.

Appetizer came cold. Part of the entres too. We had to ask for refills because server showed 2% interesting on serving us.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious place in a great location.
I absolutely loved the Burrata! My family was pleased with the seafood tacos. Will be returning.

I'm afraid to write a wonderful review for this restaurant/bar because all you Yelpers will want to come check it out! Lol. I love love this restaurant! The food is top notch - the shrimp quesadilla was the best I've ever had! Next time I'm going to try the steak one - I heard it's quite popular! I also ordered the apple crisp for dessert and it sure had that homemade taste!!The service was excellent too. (I sat at the bar and would like to give a shout-out to Brad for his excellent service!)Come check this restaurant/bar out, but let's keep it our little secret!!

Food was the best part, service was meh, hard to find our waiter and needed them 2x. Def want to come back for the food.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here on a Saturday and sat outside.
I can't speak about what other people got, but I got the lobster roll with coleslaw and was very happy with it. It was perfection! The service was really good. We had informed our server that we would be sitting there for a while since it was our first time together since 2020. She was understanding about that and checked in on us to make sure we knew that we weren't forgotten. We got refills many times and our glasses were never empty except when we said no more refills definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Great beachy & casual vibe! The frose and the riptide drinks were perfect on a warm summer evening. Had the burrata, tuna tacos, lobsters salad and the brownie sundae. Great place and we'll definitely be back!

Checked out millie's for the first time last night with the intention to stay for dinner, but after ordering the wings we changed our mind. The honey garlic wings were meaty but had zero flavor. We didn't want to risk ordering more bland food so decided to get ice cream instead, which was amazing! The salted caramel was incredible. The ambiance was nice, staff were friendly and we enjoyed the patio but definitely won't be back.
Be the first to ReplyUsually it is very good.
This visit not so much. I was very confused by the table set up. The hostess seemed annoyed and the food was room temperature not hot when it arrived. Overall it's a great place but this visit not so much. It's in my area so I will give it another chance. Just be sure to put a quarter in the meter or you will get a ticket.
Be the first to ReplyPoor service.
The food was ok it could use some work. The service needs to be sped up with getting to every table with efficiency.
Be the first to ReplyHow does this place have only 3.
5 stars? Just goes to show how unreliable ratings are on Yelp. This place is a fantastic New England-ish place, great for lunch. Great for families. Been here multiple times. Lobster is better than Luke's Lobster. Yes, it is. Honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's pricey no doubt. But worth it.

Four of us went on Saturday and sat in the bar area and waited for a table. The wait staff was excellent, as were the margaritas and assorted mixed drinks we ordered. We ordered the chips with three dips and the swordfish kabobs - both very good. Dinner was also good, with one exception. The only drawback was the crispy salmon. The fish was good, but the dish has TOO MUCH olive oil. It came with an orzo pasta salad, but it seemed like extra olive oil was drizzled on the dish, and I could only eat the salmon.
Be the first to ReplyJust picked up an order.
Place was packed! 40th Pole Quesadilla! It was overcooked and nasty. For the higher prices that they generally charge, the food use to be consistently good. Not any more!

I've been wanting to try Millie's since it opened and finally did, loved it! Great selection of seafood (a lot of east coast/ches bay) & some excellent non seafood selections too. Tried the rockfish tacos (excellent although the fish was a little over cooked), shishito peppers (yummmmm), poke (excellent), scallops (had a really interesting fried garlic corn almost relish thing that was great), and veg quesadilla added shrimp. Ate out on the patio, very busy vibe with lots of diners, great atmosphere. They have a walk up counter out there for take out orders & ice cream!

I've been coming to Millie's for over five years and it is a great spot, with New England beach vibes similar to its sister restaurant in Nantucket. When the weather is nice, the patio is a great place to eat and they roll up the walls of the bar area to give it an outdoor feel. The Steps Beach lobster quesadilla, Brant Point shrimp and mango salsa quesadilla, and spicy margarita are stand out favorites. It is popular and gets crowded on nice weather days, and is a great spot for families to enjoy outdoor dining or to dine solo at the bar and watch a game.

I was excited to try this place as it seemed to be always full of customers. I ordered the Tuckermuck. Growing up in South Texas, I'm always on the lookout for good tacos. The steak was seasoned and cooked well, but was lost in the fact that the tortillas had a very store bought taste and consistency. You'd think getting only 2 tacos for $18, everything would be homemade and fresh. Sadly, this is not the case. The "rice" side that came with it didn't have the right flavor profile to go with the tacos. I didn't like it at all. Very disappointed in what I got.
Be the first to ReplyThe Food is generally quite good.
Last time I ordered delivery -the steak quesadilla- Rhode Island Avenue and it was sparse with steak and loaded with mushrooms. The food is a bit pricey, but In the past, it was worth it! Not sure if this their new normal, but now I am a bit skeptical. Okay
Be the first to ReplyFor a comfy vibe and great food - it's hard to top Millies.
OK, so park around back - cause the on street or near street parking is pretty tight. Sorta hard to categorize Millie's offerings since there is a New England vibe, while at the same time featuring Tacos. While serving lunch and dinner, weekend brunch doesn't get much better. Start with the Burrata (cow milk cheese) which is creamy and comforting. Continuing the "beach" theme - go with the Steps Beach Quesadilla which is lobster, zucchini and Monterey Jack. Salads more your thing then try the Great Point - which is shrimp, mango, peanuts and sprouts. Drink menu is also awesome. Bloody Mary's are super tasty and made to your spec. But, don't sleep on the blueberry lemonade or my favorite - Millie's Margarita. Creative and mixes orange and lime flavors. Yup, looking forward to my next visit!

My roommates and I always walk by this place and no matter what time it is the place is always packed! The interior is super cozy and the food was good. I will say however that it is a touch overpriced, but good nonetheless.

Visited this establishment for brunch with some girlfriends, and thought they had a wide selection of brunch items. I ordered the crab eggs benedict- which was "good", nothing too special about it though. A little overpriced for what it was, I would probably skip over ordering it again. Parking along the street in front, as well as a (paid) parking lot in the back. The ambiance is very trendy, beautiful both inside and outside, and the waitstaff was friendly and accommodating.
