😍 5/5 - Is 6 stars an option? Mistral has long been a special

Is 6 stars an option? Mistral has long been a special occasion & date night spot for us, and always impresses. We started with the tuna tartar, which is the best in the business, and a special salmon tartar. As a table, we consumed even the garnishes. Probably could be embarrassing but I'd drink the tuna tartar soy drizzle. For dinners we went Dover sole, the beef tenderloin, cod special, and salmon. Honestly, ordering the salmon was difficult for me as the duck and wild mushroom risotto are epically good. Tenderloin reduction sauce is made with magic, and the sole is phenomenal. The salmon was good, but sides were not my favorite. But comparing with the wild mushroom risotto leaves anything else in the dust. Cod looked great and plate went back empty. For dessert we split the flourless chocolate torte, and was a sweet bite for each of us. About two hours later I remarked that I was maybe a little hungry. The group agreed that in general we probably eat too much and that Mistral just has perfect portions. I probably should have just eaten all the dessert myself!Service was attentive and frequent, but sort of seamless and invisible at the same time. A glass was always half full and, as a group, we enjoyed everything and wanted for nothing. Reasonably perfect in all respects.
