Mr Chow Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year

Beautiful restaurant!! Peking duck and walnut prawns are delicious. Thank you to Jeffery and Ivy for making our anniversary dinner amazing . We will be back again soon.
This is my fourth time is in Las Vegas location of Mr.
Chow. Quite different then first 3 times. Food 4 ambiance 4 service 2 atrocious... One waiter with questionable attitude is taking orders for a whole restaurant. Servers are good but they cannot cover for lack of staff and professionalism. No more noodles show. They informed us that chef quit. Not coming back if they don't change. I was a fan.
Literally the worst service I've ever had in my life at a
Literally the worst service I've ever had in my life at a fine restaurant. The waiter took our drink order and - literally - never returned. After over 30 minutes, one of the bus staff asked us if we had ordered, and we said we didn't even have menus yet. The maitre D' came and brought us menus, and I thought it would get better from there, but it didn't. While he was helpful and took our order, we - literally - never saw our waiter until he came by - once - the entire night, after we were almost done eating. I asked the other maitre D' who our waiter was, because, literally we didn't know, and then explained the whole thing to him, and when I said this was literally the worst service I've ever had at a fine restaurant, a man at the next table spoke up and said that he agreed! He said he would have the general manager come by, but no one ever came. I was deeply disappointed - I had always wanted to go to Mr Chow when we lived in LA, but never again. Completely unacceptable for this calibur of restaurant - and the management not giving a crap seals the deal. And, even after complaining and they clearly knew my complaints were just and accurate since they witnessed this thenselves, they took 2. Drinks. Off the bill I'm not a complainer - even check my other reviews - but I will go out of my way to warn others after this terrible and unacceptable experience at a typically $150+/person restaurant. And while I did stiff the waiter which we only saw once, I did cash-tip the maitre D' who actually helped us, even though it wasn't supposed to be his primary job.

What a special location and dining experience!! If you are a Mr Chow fan, you will love this tucked away and modern location with the delicious food you love! If you are new to Mr Chow, get ready for a fabulous, fine dining experience with food you will be left dreaming about days later! Service is attentive, thoughtful and prompt. Food is exquisite, fresh, and one of a kind. Enjoy!!
Love the atmosphere of this place.
After being in the super loud casinos and on a crowded Las Vegas strip sidewalk, Mr. Chow offers a quiet relaxing atmosphere, where people can have an actual conversation. We like to go to the bar, order a bottle of wine and have appetizers. My favorite is the glazed prawns with walnuts. The service is excellent. Bryan along with Kokoa really took care of us. So professional! I am so impressed watching level of service given by the waiters. If you want an experience, please try this place.
We popped into Mr.
Chow in Las Vegas to try their dinner offerings. We kicked off with appetizers like the Chicken Satay and the vegetarian-style potstickers. While the chicken satay was a hit, I could've done without the vegetarian potstickers, to be honest. Perhaps a different filling would have suited my taste better. The ambiance was decent, although a bit bright for a dinner setting, and the restaurant was quite empty when we arrived for our 6 o'clock reservation. Finding the place amidst Caesars Palace wasn't a breeze, but we managed to arrive safely for dinner. For our main courses, we opted for the seabass with steamed rice and the Gambler Duckling with sautéed string beans. The food was delightful, absolutely no complaints there. The service was attentive as well. Would I consider returning? Possibly, though I wouldn't feel compelled to hurry back, especially with so many other dining options available on the Strip. The price is on the higher side, so make sure you're prepared for that. However, the portions are generous--you'll likely end up with leftovers, to the point where you might be seeking someone to share them with if you're just visiting.
Food was great.
Expensive. Kind of odd as i went by myself. Really enough food for two. Very nice inside. Service was great. If you like duck. They had a grwat service and presentation of food.
Our afternoon escapade at Mr.
Chow within the iconic Caesars Palace in Las Vegas was nothing short of enchanting. As we ascended in the elevator, anticipation mingled with the vibrant hues of the sky, creating a picturesque setting for a romantic sunset meal. Indulging in delicious martinis garnished with three olives, we found ourselves pleasantly surprised when the skilled bartender crafted a secret concoction exclusively for us. Promising never to disclose its ingredients, we reveled in the personalized touch, adding an extra layer of allure to our experience. The overall ambiance of Mr. Chow is reminiscent of a European dining establishment, with its elegant decor and refined atmosphere. The waitstaff, impeccably trained and attentive to every detail, ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. In summary, Mr. Chow at Caesars Palace offers more than just exquisite cuisine--it provides a journey of indulgence and sophistication. We wholeheartedly recommend it for those seeking a memorable afternoon snack and drink amidst the splendor of Las Vegas.
Food, average at best.
More than underwhelmed and a bit disappointed. Service they all would rather be somewhere else other than working at Mr Chow
If you are looking for a refined and exquisite Chinese
If you are looking for a refined and exquisite Chinese dining experience, Mr Chow at Caesars Palace is the place to go. The restaurant serves authentic Beijing cuisine with a contemporary flair, and the dishes are shared among the guests. Some of the highlights of the menu are the hand-pulled Mr Chow noodles, the succulent fire roasted beef, and the crispy gamblers duck. The cocktails are also inventive and delightful, especially the one with pineapple. Mr Chow is a splendid choice for a memorable occasion.
Moving light the best thing about the place
We were told to try this restaurant but we were all very disappointed in the service and the food. Service was slow. Everyone eats the same food that is ordered. It's portioned on your plate that way. Not really "family" dining as they explained it. You had to eat it even if you didn't want it. Our host was not happy with having to explain the menu to us and it showed. The manager came out and told the 2 people they couldn't order separate meals even though we were told they could due to food issues with the "family" meal. So, the 2 people who did order separate meals sat for while we ate and finished our food. We asked where their food was and it finally came out 20 min later. In truth, the food wasn't worth the price or the wait.
Pass On This Place…
Unfortunately very disappointed. We arrived for our reservation only to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Hostess at arrival wasn’t friendly. Once we sat down, waited 10 minutes for water and menu. Had to ask waiter twice for water. Portion size was significantly smaller than last year. I remember leaving with take out bags in past and this time, I left hungry after spending more than $200 on the meal. Food arrived at table warm/hot. No waiter came over to table to ask how everything was. Will not go there again. For that food price, staff needs proper training. Just a huge disappointment.
Food was terrible and over-priced.
Worst experience dining in Vegas ever. My wife and I originally made a reservation on Open Table and talked to the hostess to see if we could get in early. Since we weren't dressed yet (came from pool) we asked within the hour and were denied. 45 minutes later we came down dressed up and I had my Seven Star rewards card. Immediately let us in. "Don't judge people by looks." The service was good but I would enjoy food at a fast food place more. Chicken was stringy, Calamari substitute was like chewing on rubber. I would never eat there again if it was free.
Mr Wrong
Service was good! Every bite of food and wine was bad. Seriously- “Mr Chow noodles” as an app was gas station spaghetti noodles that were old with hotdog relish on them. We ordered 4 items and the meal was as bad as Disney World food. Actually inedible. Vegas has a few good places…. Vegas has a lot of mediocre places. ….This was worse.
Look Elsewhere
Very disappointing dinner. The food was below average and they didn’t care. They told me that the food was off because I ordered ala carte instead of the pre fixe ? I don’t understand how that could make a difference. They did not care that we were not satisfied with our food. Unfortunately, do not recommend.
Horrible
Overpriced, cafeteria food. The chicken skewers and lettuce wraps were the only 2 of 10 items with flavour. Very poor service. The Gamblers duck was horribly dry and I could on and on. Don’t go!
Worst dinner of my life. So gross.
Cool modern space but the food was SO gross. Bland, unimaginative, super expensive, tiny portions and the server was EXTREMELY limited in his knowledge and availability of the cuisine. Two of the 5 in our party ended up leaving during the ordering process due to how unaccommodating the server and seemingly the menu were to egg white, nut and gluten allergies. We basically had no choice in either all ordering the SAME DINNER or leaving the table. The three remaining people in our party out of 5, ended up being served mostly white, tasteless foods with zero seasonings. Contrast this to eating at momofuku with the same people two nights earlier and being blown away by the complex flavors, ingenious amendments to accommodate the various allergies and unbelievable delicious food. So SO UNIMPRESSED with Mr. Chow. I was unsatisfied and disgusted, frankly and this is after spending over $600 for 3 people. This included 3 beverages. Never again. Plus our table captain never once visited our table after the order was placed almost like he was afraid to ask “how our food was”. During ordering we asked for suggestions for the best/ most popular dishes, his recommendations were so so bad and then when it was the gluten free version, there was zero substitution, it was just dry, unsalted, unseasoned, worst restaurant I have EVER eaten
Overpriced Panda Express
My wife and I went to Mr. Chow for a pre-show dinner. We found the restaurant a bit hard to find within Caesars Palace. Once we did find it we were seated within five minutes of our reservation time which was all good. We were seated at a table that was very wobbly on the thick carpeted floor. A big pet peeve of mine especially at this price point. Service was prompt, if not rushed. It seemed they wanted to get everyone out of there before the Adele show started. We wee semi-pressured into getting the pre-priced menu. We decided to go ala carte instead. The waiter said the portions would be smaller and not a good value. Once we ordered I think we got all of our food within three minutes. I've waited longer at McDonalds for food. This made me suspect that it is all premade and sitting under lamps in the kitchen. The portions were tiny, expensive and honestly not that good. Very overpriced and over hyped. I've seen other reviews comparing this place to an expensive Panda Express. Funny because we said that at the time as well. We had a table next to the center service station and the servers were buzzing around live bees in a hive. Not very relaxing or zen. The ceiling art sculpture was silly. We were in and out of there in about 45 minutes. Not a very good fine dining experience. I would never recommend or go back.
Chow Down On This
While in Vegas for our Reunion trip we decided to try here as we love nice restaurants and try them all over the world. This was not it. Despite my paying for the $1400 bill, we did not eat any of the food. We were told we had to take a 2 course meal (felt like never ending courses) and we were all left in shock over how disgusting the food was. Total, absolute shock. Not one of us ate the food! The worst was these prawns covered in a green sauce that the server actually told us people mistake for broccoli!? He was a strange man and kept over speaking every time he came to our table. The restaurant decor was also super sterile and felt like a hospital room. My sister insisted we leave as soon as we entered but we did not and suffered through. I am still in shock over how poor the food was. It looked microwaved and was not tasty or impressive at all. People around us seemed to enjoy, but perhaps they do not know good food. I wish I had something nicer to say but it was probably the worst dining experience of our lives and we will never be back.
Tasty but small portions!
First of all we had a hard time even finding the place located at Caesar’s. Very, very small portions for the price! We ordered the crispy beef as one of our five choices for dinner for 2 couples. It arrived on a small plate the size of a butter plate! Tiny serving for $58! It was very tasty and all of us liked it even though we all complained about the serving size. We ordered potstickers as a first course but they didn’t arrive till we finished everything else. We liked those as well. Also ordered Mr. Chow noodles that were not handmade while you watched like I read. They were also tasty. To round out the meal we added chicken with candied walnuts and string beans. Also, very good. Finished it off with a delicious piece of toasted coconut cake. Yum! All the portions were smaller than expected. But we all agreed we had had plenty to eat. Great service!

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
How to list a Nobu Malibu reservation
Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
