This week, my husband and I went to Nobu restaurant for the first time. We loved the tasty food, lively atmosphere, and friendly service from the staff. The Bussers and food runners were very friendly and welcoming. The waiter was so friendly and knowledgeable made my night. 5 stars coming back for April for my besties bday.

I only write bad reviews once in a blue moon, and this is one of those cases. If you are expecting experience like Nobu Las Vegas or Nobu LA, you will be severely disappointed. Nothing at Nobu Miami Beach is like that, from the vibe and service to food quality. Only the price is comparable - i.e. very expensive. Sushi was very mediocre and tiny. The place was loud and underwhelming. Save your money and go elsewhere - for example to the sushi place right next door at Fontainebleau.

Completely overpriced overrated the food was horrible bland and below average the service is slow and it's really just a tourist trap I don't know if they changed owners or what happened but it's trash.

.. I ordered an espresso martini and the Nobu Fries.. both were perfect, but could have used for bigger servings of each for the price! I understand that you're paying for the name... Espresso martini perked me right on up... and I love the slightly sweet and salty seasoning on the mixture of white and sweet potato fries. Delish!
Be the first to ReplyNobu delivers an exquisite dining experience, seamlessly
Nobu delivers an exquisite dining experience, seamlessly blending culinary mastery with an extensive drinks selection that caters to both connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts. The bar stands out as a haven for spirits aficionados, boasting an impressive array of whiskeys available in half-ounce pours--an ideal choice for savoring an impeccably crafted smoked old fashioned. Now, let's embark on a culinary journey. The yellowtail, a delicate symphony of flavors and textures, showcases the freshest seafood elevated to world-class perfection. Pair it with the tuna, a vibrant dance of taste that tantalizes the palate. The shrimp sashimi and conch salad offer a refreshing departure, introducing a light and invigorating touch to the seafood lineup. To round off the seafood experience, the Wagyu dumplings are a testament to culinary finesse, delivering a mouthwatering blend of flavors. As for the drinks, Nobu's cucumber martini (by request), a classic masterpiece that complainers the fish delightfully! Nobu's ambiance, whether enjoyed at the gorgeous bar or in the main dining area, it exudes charm. The service consistently attains the pinnacle of perfection, solidifying Nobu as a top choice for an unforgettable dining experience where the freshest seafood meets world class culinary artistry.

Food was okay but service was awful and they include a mandatory 20% tip. I got hit for an $88 tip for bad service, no thanks.

Wrong suppliers. Totally commercial and overpriced. Not authentic Japanese. Joke. Okasame is what you want from the best Japanese trained sous chefs trained in Japan and the authenticity. This ship has sailed and I consider it a commercial commodity. There's so many. I went to one in islands, Cali. Had better in San Fran.

The service and overall ambiance of the restaurant is amazing however it did not exceed my expectations especially with how highly people speak of this restaurant .. the food was a bit lack luster & over priced for the portions & overall taste .. not sure if I'll ever come back but was an experience non the less, I also had the Toban beef tenderloin , dumplings , baked crab roll & shrimp tempura roll

So far the worst nobu i've been , food quality is not even close to NY , claimed that they have kumamoto oysters but i received blue point( 3 for 25). Miso black cod is tasteless.. and i loved it in NY. Wont be back. Meanwhile service is not helpful and not attentive either.

If you're looking for a high-end sushi experience in Miami, Nobu is definitely a place to consider. However, there are some things to keep in mind before making your reservation.First, let's talk about the Brussels sprouts and black cod. The sprouts were a standout dish, with a unique twist of lobster or fish added to it, making it really special. The salmon eggs on top added a nice pop of flavor, making it a dish to remember. The black cod was also tasty, with a rich flavor that made it a great choice for seafood lovers.Moving on to the other dishes, the Waygu tacos and skewers were not quite as impressive. The tacos were disappointingly tiny, barely bigger than a thumb, and the skewers were just average. However, the sushi boat was a definite highlight, with a great variety of high-quality sushi that will leave you wanting more.Sadly, the service wasn't quite up to par during our visit, as it took a long time to get a food menu. This is something to consider if you're planning to visit with a group, especially if you have a lot of hungry people.Overall, while Nobu in Miami may be a great spot for a date night or a small group of foodies, it may not be the best choice for larger parties or groups looking for a quick and satisfying meal. If you do decide to visit, make sure to try the Brussels sprouts and black cod !

I'm back every year! And this time went to the chef nobu event, but ultimately decided to come have a sit down meal at the restaurant after walking around the event. Our server Jeanette was an absolute delight! She was super informative and knew the menu very well and could recommended some delicious plates for the table which we enjoyed very much! Thanks Jeanette for your amazing hospitality and service!

Came here for some food, the service at the bar was great! The vegetable roll was delicious. My biggest gripe is that the menu doesn't have descriptions or there's no indication what dish is vegan or vegetarian.

Visiting this location this weekend and I must admit that I left underwhelmed. I've been to Nobu in Los Cabos and Malibu, and this location does no service to the brand. First, the location and aesthetics of the restaurant is subpar. You get no view...and the restaurant doesn't have the clean aesthetic that the other locations have. To be frank, it looks cheap and not representative of the Nobu brand. Secondly, the service was terrible. It looked like our waitress didn't want to be there. She spilled some of our sake into our food and when we made a comment on it, she replied, "It was just a drop." Further, when I asked her about a drink we had in Los Cabos, she replied "we don't have that drink here" instead of asking the bartender if he can make it. In addition, the order that the food was being brought out made no sense. I was sitting with my plate for about 10 minutes until the rest of courses my friends ordered were brought to our table. The food is great here, but one of the things that I think make Nobu stand out is the quality of the service. It's about the overall brand and this location falls very short. If I were Nobu management, I would seriously look into this location and get them back in order or close it down.

Food was very delicious! It is very pricey but if you're mentally prepared for that, the experience is great. Liz was our server and she was so sweet and informative of the different items on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyWe went for our anniversary and it lived up to the hype.
The interior decor felt like an island oasis. The environment was intimate and perfect for any celebration. We did make our reservation a couple weeks in advance on OpenTable. I highly recommend it! We are at 8:15pm & it was dead by the time we left around 11pm it was packed!! Definitely schedule enough time for the process and to enjoy it throughly. The local Miami location dishes were fabulous. We got the ahi tuna tartare from the Miami menu - it was fabulous and one of our favorite pieces. We did have three Nigiri pieces as well (Salmon, Yellowtail, Tuna) all without rice & were fabulous. The fish quality is unreal. We enjoyed all three sushi rolls ordered. (Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Softshell Crab) We also ordered the edamame - had a delightful flavor. Also had rock shrimp tempura which was fabulous. Dessert - we got the baked Alaska; I usually don't enjoy them but the theatrical component along with the creamy aspect had me wanting more! Can't wait to go back & worth the splurge! My favorite Miami date night we had!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambiance.
Ordered the uni, which was amazing. Also the washugyu ribeye, which was extremely disappointing. Had it done medium, and it had a nice pink center, but was the driest ribeye I've ever had. It's either not a ribeye or something else went wrong. Mistake isn't the end of the world, but not really acceptable at a place like Nobu. Drinks were good. Management needs to double check dishes more often.

I have been coming to Nobu for over 15 years and always enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. During the pandemic I would even order to pick up and even though they always got the order wrong I kept my patronage to Nobu. I am back tonight and was very excited to enjoy one of my favorite restaurants only to be EXTREMELY disappointed on every level. Service horrible, ambiance very cold and food although still good not of the same quality. Truly disappointed and not worth the drive from the Keys.
Be the first to ReplyFood was pricey.
I couldn't justify it. The dishes were good but that's it. It lacked some complexities in their food. I'd like to give it a 3.5 stars but can't so i'll round to 4. Cocktails were good, no notes there

Wow. What can I say about Nobu that hasn't been said? The service was absolutely stellar. Our server made sure to attend to everyone need and absolutely knew every dish on the menu. Our meal started off with some lovely cocktails! We feasted this evening as our friend decided to pay... the fish was all OUTSTANDING! Presentation was off the charts stellar! Truly the most stand out but simplest dish was the Yellowtail Jalapeรฑo; sliced thin and Melted in my mouth. Least favorite dish was the Spicy Tuna with Crispy Rice. The Spicy tuna was truly #mouthgasmic but the crispy rice was bland and a bit soggy. This was a wonderful, luxurious experience but would most likely go back only for Miami Spice.
Be the first to ReplyThis was a terrific experience for all ten of us.
Our server, Jeanette was on top of everything! Great recommendations and kept our drinks full at all time. We also had a visit from Aiko, the manager. Again, just spectacular service. Thank you for taking care of us last night !!!!!
Be the first to ReplyTop tier dining experience.
Not much to say, let the food do the talking. Only critique would be regarding the overuse (in my subjective opinion) of citrus in almost all of the dishes that came to my table. Most notable dish for me was the salmon tartar which had the most incredibly delicate texture with a beautiful buttery tasting note. As if that wasn't good enough for the chef, it is then topped off with quality caviar. Baked Alaska desert was also extraordinary... so was every dish in between. Would certainly come back for more, and plan on it! Also, I wouldn't advise visiting any Nobu location if you are tight on money.. it won't end well for you
Be the first to ReplyHe was supposed to check at the hotel reception to drop off
He was supposed to check at the hotel reception to drop off the food he's claimed that he contacted us to deliver the food and in fact did not I wife has no messages from this man. He claimed he waited outside seven minutes even though his instructions were to bring it into the reception at the hotel. He charged us a full price and excepted our tip even though he did not deliver the food. What man will go to a hotel and wait outside for the guests to come get the food? So we basically paid twice for the same meal then we appreciate a refund of the first charge thank you
