Nobu Palo Alto Reviews
Disappointing.
The chef was coughing while cleaning and butchering the fish. He was clearly sick. He kept spitting into a garbage bin right near the fish. I unfortunately had to watch him my entire lunch. Made me lose my appetite. The location was nice and the serv
We came to Nobu for the first time to celebrate my birthday.
We got the classic yellowtail jalapeรฑo sashimi as an appetizer. The sashimi tasted super fresh and the ponzu sauce has a great flavor, with a lot of umami and some sourness and a hint of spice from the jalapeรฑo. For the mains, we got some maki an
A friend surprised me with dinner at Nobu for my birthday.
It was absolutely amazing in every respect. The food was to die for, especially the black cod. We did the Tasting menu. Not a loser in the bunch. It's on the expensive side, but if you want to splurge, this is a good place to do it.
Lunch bento was not worth the $68 cost at all.
.. low quality food and no sashimi or nigiri at all ... we are so disappointed... The service is low quality at this nobu location too. The server has no knowledge of any dishes and yet she is spoken some but unfriendly. We won't recommend th

Went to Nobu but was quiet disappointed.
The restaurant is not Japanese! The staff including the chefs were 98 percent Chinese. The food was nothing fantasy. It was mediocre at best. They charge an arm and a leg for just a normal bite. The quality of the food was not outstanding and therefo
Exceptional service and stellar food.
The gardens were zen and relaxing. You can't go wrong with anything you order. They also had vegan options for my friends which was a huge plus. Will definitely be back.
Giving Nobu 3 stars.
The atmosphere was great, our food came out quickly, and our server was genuinely kind and attentive, which made the experience pleasant overall. That said, I was disappointed with a couple of things. The rock shrimp tempura, which is usually a favor
Came here for a summer dinner with some friends.
Nice location close to downtown Palo Alto, with indoor, outdoor, and garden seating. We were on the patio this time, but I came another time with friends and we were sat in their garden - it's lovely! We asked our server for some recommendation

Came here last night and thought the food and drinks were great but the service is really rushed. They have a lot of people working and they want you in and out. For the high price you pay, you'd expect a little more time to enjoy the experience
Luxury Price, Motel Curtains
I had high expectations for NOBU, but was very disappointed by a basic design flaw in the room: the drapes donโt fully cover the windows, leaving a large gap between the drapes and the wall. As a result, the room was flooded with light by 6 AM ever
Nobu should not be in the hotel business
I realize that it is an American/California issue more than anything. For the price, the hotel and the service is -1 star at best. The hotel lobbies and elevator smell like fish from the sushi; the gym is not a gym for people who like to do non-cardi
Perfect spot for Palo Alto
Absolutely impeccable stay as usual. Really well looked after by Varun at the front desk. The hotel is well located and calm. The rooms are beautiful, and the bathrooms are fantastic. The gym is just what you need. That's the perfect spot for no
Great staff, great experience
My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the hotel back in February! The front desk staff were especially accommodating and gave some incredible recommendations for the area as well as San Francisco. We will be staying here again in the future!
Very relaxing Stay
I was only in a basic category room but still felt like I was getting a luxury experience. Breakfast was painstakingly slow even though there were very few guests at any one time. I also think the hotel needs to put up a sign at the host stand invit

We came here for my husband's birthday dinner.
It felt stuffy and a the hostess was a bit rude when we arrived. The sushi is very very delicious but not sure I would say it's worth the high prices. I would give it another chance though.
Came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday.
The service was amazing. Our waitress constantly checked in to make sure that we didn't need anything. The food was delicious. In addition to what's pictured we also had the ribeye, rock shrimp tempura, and the house roll. We sat at a table that was

The service and food was amazing.
We ordered several things off the menu but the standouts to me were the jalapeรฑo hamachi, crispy rice spicy tuna bites and the salmon nigiri. I am obsessed with the cocktail I got- grapefruit on the rocks- light and refreshing! The fish is incredibl

Very nicely appointed rooms, but you must be interested in minimalism and Zen. Massive television great for watching movies. Clean and good service. The bathroom seemed a bit small for the size of the room but was adequate. A great respite in Palo Al

Amazing food, really enjoyed the yellowtail and salmon cold dishes. Would recommend sitting at the sushi bar and watching the chefs prepare the food. Can't wait to come back and try more of their food soon.
I was referred to Nobu in Las Vegas.
I just never went, until now. The original Iron Chef Japan, Masaharu Morimoto was an apprentice in New York under Nobu Matsuhisa. And I know Morimoto is currently at Morimoto Napa right now. I'm aware, that some people out there from New Jersey flew

Connect with users posting reservations for Nobu Palo Alto
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Nobu Palo Alto. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Nobu Palo Alto at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Nobu Palo Alto page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* CoolestCough45, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* CoolestCough45 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to CoolestCough45 for any questions Peter may have as CoolestCough45 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* CoolestCough45 now uses their connections at Nobu Palo Alto to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If CoolestCough45 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, CoolestCough45 receives the $200 reward which is credited to CoolestCough45's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Nobu Palo Alto!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
