Came for birthday dinner and was very disappointed in the service. Restaurant decor is nice but parking difficult with no lot or valet service. After sitting down our party waited for almost 45 minutes before even being able to order any drinks or food. Everything just seemed disorganized, food came out very sporadically and drinks came out after all the food. Food was decent but many dishes were cold after waiting for the rest of the tables food to arrive. Overall restaurant seemed understaffed which hurt the service.
Be the first to ReplyFood is underwhelming for the price.
You're basically paying for the ambiance by coming here. Portions are puny, cornbread was the size of my palm for $18 LOL. The pasta I ordered was maybe the size of my fist. There's also very few protein options if that sort of thing matters to you btw.
Be the first to ReplyIncredibly overpriced and underwhelming food.
Paid $34 for one of the worst risottos I've ever had in my life. Where do they get off charging $34 for a vegan risotto? My friend ordered a pomodoro pasta that would make my Italian grandmother roll over in her grave. Tasted like spaghetti-os for the ripe price of $32. Oh on top of the already outrageous prices, they have the audacity to add a 4% "restaurant fee" to your bill... wtf is a restaurant fee? The ambiance is nice but I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you like being robbed for extremely mid food. With that said, the wait staff are amazing! Credit where credit is due.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful and special dinner in Hollywood.
The service was lovely, the food was incredible, and we had interesting and yummy wine. good portion sizes even for teenagers. Thank you for a special dinner!

It was a semi-pricey restaurant (due to the portion sizes) with a nice ambience. Service was a bit slow in the beginning (took about 15-20min for us to get our food ordered). The waiter had about 5+ tables he was serving. Waiter was very knowledge and helpful when choosing a white wine. We had the truffle pizza (loved), ricotta asparagus, and spaghetti carbonara. All the food was delicious but the carbonara was such a small portion that it was hard to share + seemed overpriced.

Went for the Conca del Sogno pop up since we have been to the original twice. The food was very disappointing: calamari and zucchini appetizer was barely warm and slightly undercooked. The spaghetti Ala Nerano was very oily and the zucchini was unrecognizable. The veal Milanese was a nice portion, but the crust was very salty. Overall service was fine, but they did not do justice to the Conca del Sogno name. Ambience was fine, but will not be heading back any time soon.
Be the first to ReplyFood was less than mediocre and over priced.
Waiter that could second as a used car salesman! I would never go back!

We went to the pop up that they're having for the next month and it wasn't very good- small portions, and way overpriced .
Be the first to ReplyCame for Valentine's day.
We've been to the original Conca Del Sogno and thought it'd be cool to reminisce with authentic Amalfi flavors. Big mistake. First downer was a pure bait and switch on the menu. At time of booking, the Norah website indicated Valentine's day was ala cart menu with $150 minimum spend. My wife and I are both foodies, and we saw enough options on the Conca Del Sogno menu to excite us for the dinner. Once we were seated, the host presented us a $150 pp 5 course prefix menu that we had to share. The serving sizes were for 1 person and tasted bland. The main entree was steak, and the vegetarian option was what I'd consider pasta in red sauce from a kid's menu. Needless to say, wife was pissed and recounted all the other restaurants we could have went to with better food options. Staff did their best. Manager comped us a drink. I blame the owners/management that didn't advertise the limited prefix menu at time of booking. Had we seen it, definitely would have went elsewhere. Ambiance was hip and crowd was diverse.

Pop up Conca Del Sogno has great PR, but the food was just plain bad. The tuna tartare was fishy, the steak was dry, the risotto was undercooked to the point it stuck to your teeth. The drinks and staff were awesome though. If you want coastal Italian food, just go eat at Nerano in BH. Plenty of Italian places better than here...Felix, Bestia, Angelini, Spago, etc. Place has hype bc of good PR.

We just happened to stop in one afternoon because we were in the neighborhood and hungry. We drove by the place looked pretty and so we stopped in. they did not disappoint. Norah has a lovely ambience both inside and out. We sat on the patio and enjoyed some very tasty cuisine. We shared cornbread, salad and the Calabrese pizza. Everything was wonderful and the service was excellent too! I will be returning soon!

Went here for the first time last night on a date and the food was delicious, vibes were great, and the entire staff were so lovely, especially our server, Kristian. He made perfect recommendations, was super knowledgeable about the menu, was not only a delight, but really funny. He made a great night even more fun. Looking forward to coming back.
Be the first to ReplyWaited 30 mins for a reservation.
Still no table. Overpriced. Pretentious without cause. Cornbread is amazing.

I am giving 2 stars strictly for the location and beautiful ambiance of the entire restaurant. I wish we sat in the back by the fire but it was a cold night so we stayed indoors. After three bottles of wine for 5 girls - they cut us off. This was super unexpected since we were not even drunk, maybe buzzed feeling good but in no way shape or form were we acting intoxicated to the point of them having to cut us off ?! We felt really embarrassed and pissed because we were having fun and just wanted to continue the night - but instead we took our business and great looks elsewhere. The food was nothing to write home about and the service was poor. I wish I had a better experience but unfortunately I will not be returning to this establishment.
Be the first to ReplyFood was delicious and would come back again.
Luke (waiter) gave great service and was attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy and intimate.
Be the first to ReplyThe boneless chicken is NOT boneless, so let's start there.
The three main dishes were served roughly 5 minutes apart and the pasta dish was overcooked. The arugula salad was great. The service was not outstanding but it wasn't offensive either. This place tries hard but doesn't quite do fine dining well. The music is too loud but the lighting is nice. It's basically Olive Garden dressed up for the prom.
Be the first to ReplyNorah is not the place that it claims to be.
On a visit yesterday, for a restaurant that advertise itself as an upscale, service was mediocre at best, food was average for the price, too noisy. We asked our waiter to lower the volume down so that we can have a normal conversation, but to to avail. Our waiter most likely forgot that they have our table to wait on. After we ordered fruits for dessert, we had no forks or knives and has to eat the fruit with spoons. This was not our first visit to Norah, but is certainly our last. Very disappointing. No service, average food, too noisy and it seems that no one cares. Bassam.
Be the first to ReplyDidn't think this place was that good.
Had their margarita pizza and cornbread and it was nothing special. Sad. I had high hopes for this place because of the reviews. The service was good. He came by multiple times to check in on us. The restaurant is very spacious!
Be the first to ReplyThe food here wasn't super impressive or memorable.
Ambience here was nice, but everything was overpriced (i.e., the cast iron cornbread was absolutely tiny even though it's $14) and there wasn't anything that made it stand out from other brunch spots.

Gave two stars because the atmosphere and the cornbread was nice, but the service and main courses were a huge disappointment. I am shocked by all the great reviews. The risotto was watery/soupy and while the mushrooms added a nice flavor to the dish, the dish as a whole lacked flavor. The bolognese tagliatelle - the homemade pasta was nice but whatever meat sauce used was not bolognese or any of its derivatives. It's was more of a creamy tomato soup with chunks of meat. Mediocre. The chicken was decent and the cauliflower was good but overall not special or pretty enough (poorly presented) to warrant the price tag. The service - terrible, waited an hour and a half for our first main and dishes weren't timed, just brought when ready. This is appropriate in many situations, like fast food, but is not the expectation when setting yourself up as a finer dining establishment. So. Improvement needed.

Ambiance: Norah has a great atmosphere with good food and drinks. There is outdoor seating on the sidewalk area as well as the back. We sat inside by the bar and the vibe was good. Food: we ordered the cornbread (because you have to) and it was delicious. I would say it feeds two, because there were three of us and we ordered a second. Ha! The fingerling potatoes were also good. I really enjoyed the arugula salad. It had great flavor and the crispy capers gave it a nice crunch. The omelette was OK. I wouldn't order it again. It was basic and a bit salty. Drinks: we ordered the Esmeralda which was a watermelon mezcal drink, and it was delicious. We also ordered the martini with mezcal and it was a boozy treat. Overall: Norah has a great vibe and decent food and drinks. They are a bit pricy, but I would recommend coming for a couple bites and a cocktail.

My husband and I took one of his clients to Norah on a Saturday night. We called ahead to make a reservation and were told that it wasn't necessary. Now, my husband and I had been to this restaurant with a couple of friends before Covid and remember it being a great experience. This time was not the case. When we arrived, almost the entire dining room was open. They probably only had sat 3 tables and the rest were empty. However, we were told that they were full and we'd have to sit outside on their Covid patio in front. Not a great start. The waitress came over and took our drink order, drinks came out very fast. Again, there was nobody at the restaurant. When she came back with our drinks the waitress took our food order. She never mentioned anything about specials or anything special about the way they serve or course their food. One of our salads came out within three minutes of us ordering and was absolutely delicious! My entree came out very quickly after that. However, my husbands food took another 10 minutes to come out after mine and my husbands clients entree came out another 25 minutes after my husband's. So by the time we all had our food, mine was cold. They waitress came by to refill our waters only once during this time and never asked how the food was Or mentioned anything about what was happening with the rest of the food even though my husband and I had clearly not touched our entrees. At the end of the meal I asked her if there was something going on in the kitchen. To which she replied no, everything is meant to be shared. Well, she had never mentioned anything about that prior to us ordering and that was clearly not how we had placed our orders. We each ordered our own separate entree. If things were meant to be shared, perhaps the waitress should have mentioned something about that when we each ordered our own separate entree. Furthermore, when my husband and I had been to this restaurant previously that was not the case. I'm not sure if the waitress was just trying to cover herself perhaps not putting all the food in at the same time or if they truly did change their format. I looked at their website again this morning and didn't see anything stating that all plates were meant to be shared. Before we left, I excused myself to use the ladies room and as I walked through the dining room, it was still mostly empty. Either way, not the most wonderful experience. Other than being cold and congealed together, the food was fine. But, overall it was an extremely disappointing experience. I can't say that we'd recommend.
Be the first to ReplyI was Ross's dinner date, we arrived in great spirits
I was Ross's dinner date, we arrived in great spirits said hello and weren't greeted with a gracious greeting in respond and had to say hello multiple times . In conjunction with his review I wanted to add how uncouth the host was upon arrival, Ross gave his full name when requested reservation... she asked again and when she couldn't locate it ask "are you sure you made reservation for this location ... and do you have a confirmation" He promptly showed proof and she still asked to make sure it was his reservation and in his name. this was very rude and and unprofessional When we finally asked what the issues was we were given the "well you didn't give me your first name" when clearly it had been given. No apology was uttered and she dismissed us as if we were in the wrong/a waste of breath! Alas.... On a side happy note the bartended, Ulysses was great and crafted amazing libations!
Be the first to ReplyValentines Day pre fixe no notice at reservation that menu
Valentines Day pre fixe no notice at reservation that menu was only the pre fixe. No notice of the pricing which turned out to be a whopping $150 per person for generous but fixed courses. No option to split one. One small desert after too large prior courses nothing offered for Valentines like a drink or glass of bubbles. No take home Valentines surprise delight ; bill was over $400. Total sticker shock as price of pre fixe was not on the menu that was presented at seating. At door hostess couldn't find our resy reservation and became surly and belligerent about did we have proof and when I showed her the reservation on my phone she challenged me to prove it was my name which I scrolled up for her and then she scolded me for not giving me first name?' Epic rudeness with no apology. I'd say overall this was an expensive and disappointing fail. Be advised.
Be the first to ReplyI've been here a few times now and it's always a hit.
Absolutely get the cornbread. It's perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the butter is insane. I also love the pizza here , but they weren't doing it when we went this time. They also do oysters sometimes. The ambiance is beautiful we sat in the back patio, super nice vibe and we always get great service here. We got the salmon which had really delicious Mexican flavors with spicy black bean purée and crema. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The best dish of the night was the ragu tagliatelle, just perfect and so satisfying. We finished with chocolate chip cookies which were really good as well. 3 big cookies that were crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, dark chocolate pools and sea salt. Love!
