Lovely place
Small cozy place. Incredibly nice and well-prepared food and good wines. Exciting, innovative and good texting experiences. Can definitely be recommended.
Be the first to ReplyBest Lunch I have ever eaten!
Oh my word, we totally fell lucky and wandered in off the street for lunch. The service and food was exceptional. My partner is Gluten and Dairy free and nothing was too much trouble. I tried both the beef and Herring Smoresbord with matched aquavit.

Really delicious dishes, albeit a little on the light side. The menu certainly does not scare anyone. Intimate place with good service.
Be the first to ReplyNice lunch
Nice lunch in cozy surroundings with delicious lunch dishes and good beer and schnapps for reasonable money. Nice and attentive service
Be the first to ReplyExcellent value for money
Dishes very all of very high quality, and the wine menu was very well selected to match the menu. Modern and taste without being very experimental or sophisticated. Nice and cosy room, not too noisy and excellent service.

Amazing lunch! Food and drinks were amazing! We sat outside and took in beautiful Copenhagen streetlife! Highly recommend this gem!
Be the first to Replythe food fine, the room small
Dining week, really good with a free choice of smørrebrød, served on a toasted piece of rye bread, which was too thick and hard. Tasty, The rooms are claustrophobically small with many crammed together, not particularly inviting. Fishy smell in the room, service fine, kitchen a bit slow, but also full room

The food was good, and a nice atmosphere. A bit pricey and service was only so-so. Overall, good but not great.
Be the first to ReplyGood food but the experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths
LOVE smoerrebroed. Love it. It’s what I crave, even as an Danish ex-pat who comes home to Denmark frequently. Norrlyst had been recommended to me and has been on my list of restaurants to visit for a while. But the food needs to work hand-in-hand with the service, and unfortunately, Norrlyst fell short on the latter by a mile. We were seated at a small cramped table next to the door, better suited for four people rather than our party of six. We asked to move to empty, roomier tables but they were reserved for smaller parties of twos and fours. The table may have worked had the chairs not had wings, but they were literally rubbing up against each other, and if we hadn’t been careful, we would have left with sore, trapped fingers. The two people at the end of our table were in constant fear of being bumped into by people passing by. Elbows in! Don’t relax! We could, however, have happily overlooked all of this – if it hadn’t been for our waiter, who spoke to us with polite, yet passive aggressive undertones. Word of advice – DO NOT refer to your customers as “Sweety” or “Dear Friend”. We are NOT friends. We are PAYING customers. The food itself was only slightly above average – and really nothing to write home about. Nothing that was served excited or tantalised the taste buds to warrant the Michelin guide mention. Would I recommend the restaurant? Unlikely. Even if the service had been better? Doubt it. There are far better restaurants in Copenhagen that have better food and better service. If the service had been better, I wouldn’t have bothered with this review. But any bad service needs to be called out – and THIS is where customer service is key for any restaurant. Be polite - and mean it. We can tell when you don’t.
Be the first to ReplyDanish Smorebrod excellent lunch stop
We stopped in here for lunch. Really interesting selection of Smorebrod Danish open sandwiches with suggested Snaps if that is your thing. I just had a glass of wine. Excellent service and tasty lunch. This is only a small place so book if you want to make sure you get a table.

Unfortunately, we were not impressed by the food. The tatar was not very tasty in itself. The horseradish cream was very fat and the gooseberries extremely sour, No so coherent dish. Fish was good, but the whole dish with ponzu sauce was too salty. Desert was not to our taste, too sweet and soft textured. Worst were our cocktails which came from a can and did not taste well. It should have been clearly marked in the menu that the restaurant does not mix the cocktails by themselves! We had an excellent champagne, though, and service was also really nice and friendly, so I am really trying to be nice as well. Food was basically two TripAdvisor stars, but the friendly waiter makes it three.
Be the first to ReplyGreat gem in the city centre
I ate at this restaurant on 17/11 while visiting Copenhagen: the food was excellent (I had the beef tartare, a vegetarian plate with cabbage, parsley and mushrooms and ice cream as dessert) as well as the wine, I had a red one.
Service was fast and professional, price not low, but I don’t expect a place on the Michelin guide to be cheap: I recommend this place.
