We love Nosh on High! They provide the best service and it's a great atmosphere. Food and drinks are the best in downtown Columbus. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend Nosh on High and ask for Rusty, he's the best!!

It is now 3/26/22 and our wedding was over a month ago and still we've heard nothing from anyone nor the owner at Nosh. No apologies, no 'let us repay your cake delivery fee', no nothing. The owner hasn't reached out at all which is Mike Campbell, according to their website, nor has Rusty the GM, and their website NOW states they are temporarily closed. I will continue to let others know about what happened as social media and it's influence goes a long way.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food.
The home fries are amazing as well as the steak with horseradish sauce! Would dine here again in a heartbeat.

Great experience! This is in a perfect spot to walk around the park across the street after dark to enjoy the Christmas light display before or after dinner - which is what I did! I got the Noshville chicken with Brussels sprouts instead of polenta due to an allergy. YUM. The chicken and spicy honey was amazing. The Brussels sprouts were also good. The server was very nice and accommodating.

The service was poor. We barely got our meal and had to leave despite having an hour and 20 minutes for dinner. The food was inconsistent. The cauliflower tater tot's were amazing but two of us ordered the chicken. One chicken was a nice sized portion and the other portion was less than half that size. While the food was "good" it was nothing to come back for coupled with the service.
Be the first to ReplyGreat find in downtown Columbus.
Cauliflower tots to start were awesome. That cheese complimented the savory vegetable gravy. Haven't had a nicoise in ages and this didn't disappoint! Those crispy tasty potatoes have some great texture and taste to the salad. Server picked a great Oregon Chardonnay to compliment the meal. All ready for a concert. Definitely need to add @noshonhigh to your list if you're in Columbus!

A group of six of us were in Columbus for the weekend and we dined at Nosh this past weekend. Everyone agreed that all of the dishes that we ordered were excellent. Everyone raved about the Brussels sprout appetizer. I had a really great fried chicken entree! Superb!
Be the first to ReplyOn a better day this probably was a great restaurant.
Possibly one of the weaknesses of Yelp, in Covid, is knowing what is still on the menu. Pictures and menu suggestions here are misleading. That deep menu is no more. Four salads, a couple of sandwiches, and 3 mains at lunch. Six 101 style inoffensive mains at dinner. The kitchen serves up good food, but the variety is much more limited than I've found at other restaurants where Covid checks have become preferable to the long hours in a hot, crowded, commercial cooking space.Bar looks great. Didn't try as I was long haul driving that day.Service was very good. Gal was attentive enough.Parking is challenging, especially when the bus lane kicks in that runs in front of their building. Turn right, go down a block, and there's a street with parking meters to the left.

Didn't have much of an expectation walking in but left with a great impression. I got the fried chicken which was excellent, and my partner got the streak. Excellent service, pretty bar. We got the s'mores dessert which was a little gimmicky but I can't pass up a burnt marshmallow. I think this place would be a great restaurant to bring out of towners to so they could experience Midwest cuisine.

The only reason I gave it 5 stars is I could not give it 6-7-8....Incredible. I don't know where to start so ...Apps - cabbage pie, tater tots and tuna. Obnoxious. Filthy...soooooooo GOOD!!!We tried one of all the entrees - steak, pork belly, short rib, hot chicken, shrimp, salmon, duck....I think my fave was the pork belly by a smidge over short rib and hot chicken. the collard greens are out of this worldthe desserts are off the hook - smores pie, red hot and lemonhead ice creams. Creme brulee cheesecake is to die for. My only complaint is I have to drive 30 minutes. Gimme a nw columbus location!!!
Be the first to ReplyStruggled between and 3 and 4 stars on this one.
Ok beer selection (around 10) and the food was fun but only decent. Service was great, but it was also reasonable empty on a Wednesday night.Tots - 3/5. Served in gravy and loaded with cheese curds sounds like a guarantee for success but the tots themselves were lackluster. The fry wasn't quite enough and there was a missing way for them to pop, maybe a spice?Cabbage pie - 3.5/5. Beautiful dish with a well done pastry dough. But the cabbage was a little single noted and the mushroom was overly creamy.Smores - 4/5. Crazy dessert for $6. It looks like a pie but the topping is all marshmallow, so it's super heavy and a large portion. The chocolate is quite tasty and the graham crackers add nice texture but we're slightly stale.
