Unfortunately, we had a very foggy day, so we couldn't fully enjoy the view. But luckily, the food did not disappoint! Sometimes when you go to fancy, touristy spots, the food is subpar, but that was not the case here. Incredible ribeye and service!

Not recommended for your own money but ok to visit if invited. I typically avoid restaurants located on an expensive piece of real estate, i.e., with good views, etc. because food at those places is not good. I came away pleasantly surprised. Food is far better than I expected. That being said, I wouldn't necessarily recommend anyone eating here, while the observatory probably is a worth a visit. I didn't pay my own money to be clear. Why not? The setup and ambiance are surprisingly not up to what you would expect. Food - good fried cauliflower. Good fried chicken. Good steak. Good pasta. Everything was solid. Nothings to fault here. Service - not bad. Not particularly attentive. Ambiance - not as good as you think. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the two story observatory. The second floor is like a tucked in terrace, far removed from the glass outer walls. The restaurant itself is just small section separated by stanchions.

Terrific meal, service and view! Must have observatory tickets. Can go for drinks or a meal. Reservation recommended. The view (one hundred stories up) is one of a kind!

What an incredible vista! The team here was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient in their service. And off course the view is incredible in every seat even at the bar. While the prices seemed reasonable at first glance, the cost can escalate if you're solely dining in, as you're required to purchase tickets to the observatory. While the food was good, it didn't quite blow me away. I particularly enjoyed the crudo as a starter. One aspect that struck me as odd was the significant variance in portion sizes for the main courses. While it wasn't an issue for us as we opted for family-style dining, the disparity between the octopus and chicken portions was quite remarkable, but our server did warn us of this when ordering.
Be the first to ReplyPaid a premium price for supposedly premium seating.
At the top of the "world" one would expect paying for a "premium seating" experience would be up against the windows for truly unobstructed views of the city. We were seated overlooking the observation deck with windows a good 30ft away. In this "premium section" there was an open table against the windows which they wouldn't switch us to. There were also open tables in their non premium section that were also up against the windows making them better than our seats. Made no sense and was an extreme disappointment for what was supposed to be a premium experience. Buyer beware.
Be the first to ReplyHighly recommend the lunch experience.
$80 each (included one app, one entree and one cocktail) and admission to the observatory. Large portions, cocktail and food were very good. My husband had the burger, I didn't take a picture but it was very good too! Wait staff was excellent and very personable. All well worth the price.
Be the first to ReplyA complete disaster from start to finish.
First, they can't even spell 'your' correctly on their restaurant week menu. Then, less than 18 hours before, we receive a cryptic and curt OpenTable message for our PREPAID $152 reservation that they were pushing it back 30 minutes without our consent and even the courtesy of a phone call to explore options together. They ghosted us and didn't answer their phone or return our emails. They blamed weather despite the OpenTable experience mentioning nothing about that possibility, yet we arrived on time to still being zero visibility yet were refused a refund of any sort. They never honored our reservation despite never actually changing ot. We arrived to some of the nastiest and most disorganized staff (and frankly the most overstaffed establishment) we've ever encountered. The front desk insisted on touching our phone just to let us in, and then there was no guidance on where to go once past security. The intro video presentation malfunctioned twice. We were then nickel & dimed for drinks with more unmentioned but automatic gratuity. The food was overpriced and bland, and the service very awkward. Our table wobbled and was somehow packed too close to adjacent ones despite plenty of empty tables.

Stopped by for a celebratory drink after spending a few days in NYC for my birthday. I knew I had to treat myself to a beverage with a view. And what a view it is! I was originally seated at the bar and was able to move to the window. It was mid afternoon when I went here, not too busy, which was nice. The staff was friendly and made the experience emoticons. Next time I'm in town, I'll need to check out the food. The dishes were great from what I saw and smelled! I'm glad I ended my trip with a visit to this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyFood was decent, everything was cooked well.
I really liked the bussers and their efficiency in clearing off our plates when finished and constantly refilling our waters. For a spot like this you're paying for the view and location. Once in a lifetime experience to eat here. Definitely worth it.

High rise views of NYC with drinks and snacks, yes please! Some may be upset you have to pay entrance fee to get in but the view is spectacular! We were able to grab a seat at the bar and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere here and beauty of the city from above. The service was excellent as well as the food and drinks. We never felt rushed and took our time there. Love this spot and will be back again when we visit NYC again!

Wonderful non-alcoholic drinks and they cater to vegetarians! The apple dessert is heavenly. Make plans to come a little before sunset.

Absolutely the best experience with amazing food, views and service. We did a private party for my sisters birthday with a group of 20. The family style menu was a hit with everyone getting to sample a little of everything. Definitely going to come back for dinner again!!

Know that you are going up there for the view, not for a memorable dining experience. The food is meh.
Be the first to ReplyCHRISTMAS EVE.
Keep that in mind. We purchased the full experience ($175/pp) which includes the observation deck tickets. Our reservation was for 6pm, we arrived and were promptly seated. Our waitress Nikki was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She was great! We ordered drinks, it took about 30 min to get. It's Christmas Eve, we're not complaining since they are busy. The drinks come, they're fantastic. We place our orders for apps which took an existential amount of time (about an 1 1/2 hrs). We didn't order anything difficult, butternut squash rice balls (tasted great) and the octopus (absolutely do not recommend). So now that the apps are out, you'd think the entrees weren't far behind. We waited. The manager, Rebekah came over to apologize about the wait. I cannot praise this woman enough, she went above and beyond. One Dine should be proud to have her, not many people take pride in their work. Still waiting for the entrees. Rebekah came back around a 2nd time to make sure everything was ok to then find out our entrees still didn't come out! When the food finally came (around 9pm) it was all cold. My mussels were very good but not enough of them for a dinner. The charred broccolini was atrocious, cold and sour. They brought over the jerk king trumpet mushrooms but we never ordered those and they were gross. My husband had the steak which was cold but tasted good. Rebekah ended up comping us our dinner due to the most horrific experience we had. The kitchen is a disaster and makes this restaurant look terrible. One Dine, you need an experienced kitchen staff because on a busy night like Christmas Eve everyone should've been on point, no excuses and they failed, miserably. Rebekah is indispensable and a valuable asset to your restaurant. Don't lose her!
Be the first to ReplyI debated giving One Dine 3 or 4 stars.
The view is definitely very nice but you have to pay the observatory fee to order off the a la carte menu. It is also a maze to get to the restaurant. The food and drinks are quite expensive. For 2 mock tails, 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes, it cost over $80 per person (18% gratuity included). With that said, the food was good. I had fried brussel sprouts and the sea bream. The food also took a very long time to come. We were chatting so I'm not certain but probably over 40 minutes. I would recommend trying One Dine if you are already inside to enjoy the view. The service was pretty good as well.

I would recommend this place. There were really nice taking anniversary pictures for me & my wife. Thank you for making our experience great One Dine!
Be the first to ReplyThe service is great and the view is awesome.
The food and drink are above average but not phenomenal. The ambiance and service makes up for it! Will be going back.
Be the first to ReplyI give this place 3.
5 stars. We only ended up here because with the All Inclusive ticket you got immediate entrance to the observatory rather than the Standard ticket which wanted us to wait nearly 90mins before we could enter. $20 difference in ticket price but you get $15 off Drinks. However, with this ticket type I believe they only let you sit at the bar (with your back to the view), the tables are only for regular diners - not the people conned into buying the all inclusive tickets!!! However, it was nice to sit at the bar, cocktails were ok. Service was decent, 18% is automatically added on to all tabs, so they don't work too hard! Would I come again, no.
