Panda Harlem New York Reviews from The Last Year
We walked in for a table for 4 on a Saturday night.
We had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. The decor is super cute and great for photos. I REALLY ENJOYED THE DJ! Food tasted amazing and nice sized portions served ala carte. A few things to note: -You definitely want to make a reservation online; even if it looks like there's a bunch of openings, still go ahead and make the reservation. -20% gratuity automatically included -They sold hookah but it didn't fit with the nice dinner table vibes. -It is not 21+ only but I wouldn't necessarily call it kid friendly bc of music and hookah

Ok so I actually really liked this place and I would def go back. Full disclosure its more of a date night vibe, if your looking to turn up with your friends go across the street. The food 4/5: the flavors were really good and it was visually very appealing but the broccoli needs ALOTTT of work. It was very soggy and chewy in a bad way, just over cooked and almost had that microwave taste which is unfortunate because the sauce and flavor was delicious. Def get the scallion pancake it was actually my favorite thing on the menu Scenery 5/5 this place is beautiful and I do think you get a great experience even sitting at the bar. The music 2/5 Im not sure what was going on that particular Saturday night but the music was all over the place Drinks 3.8/5 some were really tasty and others were meh but overall they were food enough just a little pricey. Service 4/5: bartenders were great servers were interesting..... Would def go back for a more intimate night.
Trying new places is always exciting.
I've never even heard of this place before I came here and let me just say boy they did not disappoint. Everything we had was exceptionally delicious we had lobster lo-mein I love lobster and the chicks they gave were very satisfying. I ask had the shrimp and broccoli everything was tender to perfection. We also had the chicken dumplings and let me say this was the thickest chicken dumpling I had in my life it was filled with so much meat and flavor I could just burst of the happiness I feel inside when I get good food. My boyfriend had the sweet and sour chicken I had some as well and everything was so good and tender couldn't have asked for anything better. The drinks were pretty good as well my boyfriend had a lychee martini and I had passion fruit margaritas sooo freaking good. Our waiter was so friendly and polite he kept coming back asking if we needed anything very attentive and polite. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice big lots of space and can be very intimate if you wanna just do dinner, birthday parties, anniversary dinner ect.... Really cute vibe and the music is decent as well. I will definitely come back again especially to taste those tasty lo-mein noodles again.

I went to this restaurant on July 3rd for my sister's birthday. We came here with family and friends. The vibes and ambiance were nice. Music was on point. The service was attentive. Any concern we had they fixed it. Now for the food, we ordered the rolls which were very good, but very HOT! My brother, sister and I all ordered the filet mignon with broccoli. This dish has so much potential. It was slimy and sweet which threw everything off. I added lemon and soy sauce and it made it taste so much better, but the slimness has to go!! My mom ordered salmon with a side of broccoli. Her broccoli was gross to say the least. (They should've just sautéed it) It was slimy as well and just had a weird funky taste. If they can fix these things. They'd go to the top!!

I came here on a Friday night for a birthday dinner and it was meh. The inside of the restaurant has graffiti art on the walls. When you first walk in there is a small section to the left and more seating further in the back. The staff were nice and accommodating for the most part. We brought a birthday cake and left it with the host and I was pretty upset when I went to use the bathroom and saw that she didn't even put it in the fridge! She didn't seem too apologetic about it either. The food was so subpar...I have had better take out than this. The chicken bao buns do not order! They are bland and literally had chicken with unseasoned pieces of potato with it. The scallion pancakes were fried and came with oyster sauce (the sauce was very overwhelming and did not go well at all). I got the shrimp and broccoli thinking I was playing it safe. It was drowning in sauce and had no seasoning or much flavor outside of the sauce. The lychee martini was good but the fish bowls are mini fish bowls they are not that big or strong. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because the DJ was on point. Overall I would only come here for drinks or not at all. The bill was pretty high for a mediocre meal.
Looking for some Asian fusion mixed with an eccentric vibe.
This restaurant lounge bar is definitely a nice spot to unwind, have fun or celebrate a night out. Sexy enough for a date night or calm enough for a lunch break. The music is all current urban contemporary. Beautiful street art work covers the walls and dim intimate lighting throughout interior. The entire wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Eat: Dumplings. 10/10 Filet mignon w/ broccoli. 9/10 Shanghai salmon. 10/10 Vegetable fried rice. 10/10 $$ Drink: Top shelf alcohol or drink specials served. Wine selection available. Non alcoholic drinks Mocktails available. Shisha Hookah available. $$ Recommended date night, birthday/work celebration. ID checked at the door. Security. Reservations strongly suggested. Valet parking available. Street parking as well. :)
This place is a bit pricy but it's definitely worth it.
Their food is amazing as well as, of course, their drinks. The staff is very well-trained too. The vibes are nice too. This place is definitely 5 stars.
food was so yummy, vibes were unmatched.
they play the best music in my opinion, street parking is cool. not too bad! the drinks were good, but they could use more alcohol in my opinion, they weren't that strong lol that's just me. but i like it here, it's somewhat intimate in a great way!

My visit to Panda Harlem was unfortunately marred by an unpleasant encounter at the door. Despite being intrigued by the restaurant's social media photos and eager to experience its ambiance, the isolated location in Harlem proved inconvenient. Upon noticing it was formerly Solomon and Kuff, I approached the doormen to inquire about dining. However, my simple question was met with unnecessary hostility from one of the doormen, who questioned my motives and rudely insinuated I only wanted to use the bathroom. This uncomfortable interaction escalated when the doorman's behavior became confrontational, leading to him attempting to deny me entry and even calling the police. The situation was absurd and disappointing, particularly given the racial dynamics at play. Eventually, I was able to speak with the manager privately and relayed the incident. While the manager handled the situation appropriately and allowed me to enter, there was a notable lack of apology for the unpleasant encounter. Inside, I found the bartender to be friendly, albeit with limited English proficiency. However, the food, particularly the fried rice, was disappointingly bland, even with soy sauce. Overall, my experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the doorman, which overshadowed any positives the restaurant may have had. I cannot recommend Panda Harlem based on my experience, and I will not be returning.
I can't believe i drove 1:10 just to be highly disappointed.
I order vegetable dumplings for starters and to my surprise I got something from Dr Seuss it's was green and of course I was confused but nevertheless my main meal was okay but my waiter was terrible and not accommodating at all.

Had a great time for my birthday! Loved the staff , the food amazing & so were the drinks !

It was my cousin's 25th birthday and she wanted to go to dinner at Panda. We had reservations at 9:30pm. The restaurant was packed. The vibes were cool. It was dim lit inside and the DJ was playing good music. There were 9 of us and we had a long table by the bar in the back of the restaurant. Since there were so many of us, we had a prefix menu. Everyone liked the food. I loved the chicken wontons and filet mignon and broccoli. For dessert, it was an assortment of cakes. The chocolate cake was delicious. The server came over with a huge sign for my cousin's birthday. We all had a lot of fun!
Panda Harlem definitely wasn't what social media made it
Panda Harlem definitely wasn't what social media made it seem. We had a reservation for 8 however, when we arrived we had to wait to be seated, which is fine and usually happens at restaurants. However, we waited for a while and once we were seated. They seated the 6 of us at 2 tables pushed together, which realistically would only seat 4 people. We requested to be moved and was eventually moved to the booth by the front door, and, It was cold right there but we stayed. We went for Restaurant Week. They had the 3 courses. The Bejing Chicken was good, as well as the chicken fried rice. Only issue with that is that we had to order rice as an additional appetizer, since their entree didnt come with rice. I really liked the Tres Leches cake as well. The leches martini was good and really strong. I initially ordered a pina colada, which was nasty. The waiter excused it, since he was the one who suggested it. The service at Panda Harlem was not good. But our waiter was nice. He was pleasant but seemed too all over the place. He also took forever to take our orders but the food came out fast. The ambience of the restaurant was not the best. It strikes me more as a club atmosphere rather than restaurant, I guess because it was in what looks like a warehouse that they threw tables in, graffiti paintings on the walls. I don't know. Another thing is that the bathrooms were disgusting. I'll be ok with not revisiting.
Went to Panda with the squad.
Family style Asian fusion. I tried the kung Pao and sweet and sour chicken. They were both tasty. We shared appetizers like chicken and shrimp dumplings and chicken satay, which were pretty good, the peanut sauce on the satay was really sweet. My boys enjoyed their drinks. The service was really prompt and friendly at both the bar and when we were seated. The hosts were really nice as well. I'll be back, I like the overall vibe, it's just that the food isn't anything special, but it does the job.
Omg Panda Harlem is everything expected!! Food is delicious
Omg Panda Harlem is everything expected!! Food is delicious drinks are amazing but what I love the most is the customer service!! First to begin, I never been to a restaurant and the waitress is right there to clean up instantly. Second, I love the attentive the servers have to guest. They not hovering over you but also not to far away to assist you. Lastly s/o to Hasim!! He was amazing, attentive, available, didn't have to look for him. And he was a great people person with a sense of humor. Thank you so much Hasim for making my first time at Panda a great experience.

I was really excited to try this new establishment from the outside it doesn't look like much but once you enter it's beautiful inside. The decor and ambiance was really cute and hip. Valet was $40 alil overpriced if you ask me especially when they block off the whole block so they could park the car for you . They only had a pre fixed menu for nye. It wasn't busy at all but the service took very long. My date ordered the Beijing chicken which was really salty and the chicken seemed overcooked. The fried rice taste similar to your local Chinese restaurant and all clumpy. My food took even longer to come out cause they forgot , I had the filet mignon and broccoli which was surprisingly really good, tender and flavorful fresh broccoli. The chicken satay was tasteless, no flavor at all, bland. The chicken wontons were good. The drinks were really good made well I highly recommend the dragon fruit mojito. Music was tasteful. They also sell hookah if you're interested. But overall it's not high end food. If you're looking for good drinks and music and a nice place to take pictures this is your spot but for the food and price not so much.

Anyone know how increase payout transfer to bank as I can only send $50 a day and they charge $5 for every transaction. There must be a way. I’ve contacted support two days ago and not a reply.
