Pardon My French New York Reviews from The Last Year
Had a reservation for two at 6:30 on a Saturday.
The hostess was very accommodating and gave us a seat near the entrance which was less hectic than the dining room. Waiter was young man from Paris and highly attentive continually checking in. Shared the burrata with ratatouille which was excellent. I had the coq Au vin: delicious. My friend had tile fish which was perfectly prepared. Plenty of bread. It got very crowded by 7:30. Definitely will become my neighborhood French bistro.
We went here to celebrate my birthday.
The service was impeccable and the food delicious. We had the steak au poivre and the moules marinière both cooked to perfection. We followed that with the chocolate lava cake, delish! Wine selection was on point. Reminds me of a brassiere tucked away somewhere in Paris. Will definitely go back!
The waiter was completely inattentive .
Absolutely spaced out it, horrible at their job. They make us wait 15 mins for a table. As our third party member enters the establishment, they tell us we have to wait another 15 mins because everyone isn't there although we were all there. I don't understand why they couldn't mention that when we asked for a table for 3 and mentioned we were waiting on one more person. Was excited to give the place a try but whoever was seating people 03/24/2024 doesn't use their head too often.

my first review on yelp but had to comment on the impeccable service and food experience. the steak tartare is a new favorite of mine. the staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. is this my new dinner spot???
Decent food but absolutely shit service.
We were the only brown people at the restaurant for brunch and were treated like garbabe. Made to wait 30 mins for a table that we had reserved well in advance. We waited happily, ordered a whole lot of drinks, and were quickly asked to wrap up so the next group could come in. Took our drinks away and very rudely asked us to leave (even though several groups of white people sat way before us and were not being asked to leave). He then got upset coz one member of our group walked out - (you literally asked us to leave but it's funny how you assumed we were being rude to you). Very very loud music and terrible service. Never coming back.

Disorganized, loud and rude! If you want to cater to only one kind of audience, say so! People its loud! And you are in the hospitality business so maybe ask twice and listen to what your customers are saying!! TLDR: we were asked to leave a 6 persons table, we protested because we got the table 30 mins late, they offered the bar & we made our intentions clear while walking to the bar sullenly but respectfully. One of our friends decided he dint want to stand at the overcrowded bar and walked out but how dare WE have an opinion and the rest of us were shooed away too. Thank you for making us realize you are not brown people friendly, fuck you and I dont ask to be pardoned!
Walking into this restaurant takes you on a journey.
I've been here over 37 times and each one is magical and memorable! The low lighting and music you never know what time of day it is and you are able to get lost in time. The appetizers, the mains, and desert that I chose in the form of a Expresso Martini with vodka were delish! The waiter was very attentive. We were a large group but he managed 16 of us single-handedly.

This cute restaurant in the east village is surprisingly affordable. I made a reservation about a week in advance and we were seated right away. I definitely recommend making a reservation for brunch because they were packed. The tables are really close together which is inconvenient for getting up and if it's winter there is no where to keep your jacket or bag. However, they did offer to hang up our coats. The food was good and it came out quickly. I was served the most flawless omelette I've ever seen in my life and it came with a side salad and potatoes. The garlic roasted potatoes were so flavorful! My friend said the Tunisian eggs were delicious as well. I wanted to try their french toast but I decided to go savory instead. I'll definitely have to come back to try it. We did the bottomless brunch and the staff were very attentive. They were constantly refilling our waters and they gave us a carafe full of mimosa so we did not have to keep flagging them down for refills. This place had been on my list for a while and I'm so glad I finally got to try it. I definitely recommend!
2024 will be the year of brunch! We stopped into Pardon
2024 will be the year of brunch! We stopped into Pardon My French on Sunday for an early brunch. Only a few tables were occupied when we arrived. This place is cash-only so plan accordingly, although I think there is an ATM or two nearby. Our waitress took our orders pretty quickly. We ordered the pancakes, French toast, and eggs with bacon. The pancakes came out looking pretty with fruit scattered all around and a dollop of whipped cream. They tasted as good as they looked. My girlfriend enjoyed her French toast and the eggs and bacon were good too. Within 30 minutes of being seated, this place got PACKED. My friend told me that PMF is known for being a much more rowdy brunch spot to enjoy a mimosa buzz, so I can see that they were quickly heading that way. Aside from the inconvenience of having to bring cash, the food was good and the service was decently fast. I would return in the future!
Casual atmosphere.
Friendly staff and quality cocktails. Nice little tuck spot in Brooklyn!

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
