Exceptional.
The hotel was beyond exceptional. The aesthetics, the service, the location, all of it. They offered us a beautiful room upgrade too. I had an unfortunate experience in the spa however and I would not want it to detract from the hotel. We loved it. But I won’t use the spa services again.

If you're looking for a beautiful hotel, perfectly located in Mid-Town, convenient for a walk in Central Park, dinner at a fine restaurant, extraordinary museums within walking distance, the friendliest and most helpful staff in the city, the Park Hyatt is your hotel too.
Be the first to ReplyGreat NY option near Central Park
Had a really good experience here. Great location, service, and room finish out. Staff was very friendly throughout. Rooms were very nice and offered more room than is typical in NY. Good option for families given the larger rooms and pool

A lovely hotel, walking distance to Broadway, shopping, and restaurants. The staff is phenomenal — attentive and appear to like being at work. Received a room upgrade to a very spacious studio suite and lovely fruit welcome gift through AmEx and early (9 am) check in, which was unexpected but much appreciated after a very early flight. All in all, a delightful stay and we will return!!

Park Hyatt exceeded our expectations in NYC. We got upgraded to a one bedroom suite and were amazed at the size of the room for a NYC hotel. Some of the pros of this hotel: - Service is very high quality. Whether it was grabbing our luggage at 5 am or letting us check in early, we always felt welcomed at the hotel. - The rooms! We had a one bedroom suite, so we are unsure what the standard rooms are like. But we were amazed at our room. The bathroom was the best part! A very spacious shower with a rain head and Toto smart toilet were the highlights. -The gym was one of the best we have ever used at a hotel. Equipment was the latest tech and high standard. Granted, its not going to compare to your local gym but for a hotel gym, it was top tier. - Pool and jacuzzi were clean and there was a lifeguard on duty. The gym lockers were very nicely kept and the steam room was a nice touch. Cons: - There was construction on a nearby building. I read reviews about this on the hotel. It was not nearly as bad as people said at all. - As great as our shower was, the temperature control was faulty sometimes. I read a lot of mixed reviews about this hotel and after staying there for 3 nights, I can safely say the negative reviews are highly critical and in my opinion, flat out wrong. We have been lucky to stay at some of the best hotels in the world, and this is in the same standard and category. This is an exceptional hotel in NYC, one that you will not forget!

Great hotel for our small vacation to NYC. Nicely located close to Central Park and on walking distance to main attractions like Times Square. Nice food and rooms. Unfortunately no view of Central Park.

Not a Park Hyatt - when considering service and amenities as well customer service etiquette and the need to update/renew linens, bath robs, etc.... do not expect your customer service experience to be addressed until after the fact....bell desk staff and restaurant management team very helpful, willing to address issues on the spot....not how a Park Hyatt should operate
Be the first to ReplyBest Service Since the Pandemic (Finally!) Can’t wait to go back!
My family and I traveled to NYC for Presidents Day weekend. We live in CT and often travel to NY. This was our favorite New York City hotel and we will definitely be coming back. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. We had a one bedroom suite which had plenty of room for my self and 2 small children (both under 3). The staff was incredible. Everyone was helpful and friendly. There were some personal touches that made the stay really nice for kids. For example the request for the crib also came with wipes, baby lotion, and baby shampoo. When we went down to breakfast they provided the kids with a Presidents’ Day paper to color and crayons. Don’t get me wrong this is an adult hotel and I would stay there without kids but I also felt comfortable traveling with kids there as everyone was so welcoming, friendly and efficient. Thank your Park Hyatt!

It was our first time staying at this property and it did not disappoint. The hotel is aesthetically modern and elegant. The location is perfect for the itinerary we have. We flew from the west coast on a red eye and was at the hotel by 9:30. Since standard check-in is at 4pm, I was not expecting the room to be ready and was prepared to drop off our bags and explore the city for a bit. The front desk agent however did inform that our room is available . I booked a standard king and with globalist status I was upgraded to a King City View room. I inquired of a standard suite upgrade, however it was a weekend and therefore the hotel was at full capacity. Our assigned room has a view of Carnegie hall and it’s quite spacious for New York standard. Room is stocked with 2robes, slippers, coffee, minibar, and impressive Le labo bath products. Housekeeping always kept the room meticulously tidy and prompt at providing any additional request ie extra pillows etc. Should you have the chance to order room service, try the park hyatt omelette. It has bits of lobster and it is divine! Loved everything about the Park Hyatt. The staff were attentive and would go above and beyond for their guests. I highly recommend staying here wether it’s for family travel or a romantic getaway in the city.

Ive been staying at this hotel regularly since it opened and it has become to feel like my second home when I'm in the city. The architecture is stunning and the hotel has the city's best pool (I havent tried the new Aman down the street). The only negative is that the doormen do not help with luggage or opening the rather large and heavy front doors to the hotel. My Corgi also enjoys the homemade dog treats and access to Central Park. I'd request a higher floor as the lower floors have noise issues not due to the street but rather the layout of the floors and rooms. The lower floors have long traditional hallways whereas the higher floors have fewer rooms and organized in a more fractal pattern.

The New York Park Hyatt has it all. A fabulous location, close to theater, opera, Central Park and museums. The accommodations were first class. Food was great. The room was quiet, remarkable for NYC. The amenities were wonderful too as was the staff. This is a 5 star hotel for a reason. The best New York has to offer.

Best hotel in NYC. Understated elegance. Excellent rooms and service. Beats the Ritz and 4 seasons. Love this place. Always have. Always will. Great location. Service. Great food. Always a delight. Loved the week we spent here

The rooms and service were amazing. The location is great. Evelyn at check in and William the bellman were fantastic. The Concierge was very helpful. Our first time here and everything was superb! This is the only hotel we will stay at in NYC from now on.

This was the nicest of many hotels I have stayed at in New York. We received the attention and service one comes to expect from a luxury hotel in Asia, and has long been missing in the US. Like Cheers, everybody “knows your name”. It was a joy. Bonus - on the 10th floor - zero street noise.

It was just unacceptable to get our room key after 5 o’clock when check-in time is 4!! This should definitely note be the case in a 5 star hotel! The food was much too pricey for its quality! Very clean room and kind staff! Amazing pool area and amenities.

Found broken piece of glass on the floor in the main living area. Had a 2 year old daughter with us that could've led to a severe injury. When we made the complaint to the hotel, they attempted to remediate it by waiving the $80 valet fee and depositing 10k Hyatt points. Staff at the hotel are not friendly. We stayed at Park Hyatt Tokyo and the experience was much better. Would never stay at this Park Hyatt New York location again and will not recommend to friends and family.
Be the first to Reply5 Stars charched 3 star service
5 Star but 3 star service The pricing is like 5 Star but the breakfast so poor - no egg Benedict’s - not even simple poached eggs. All Müslis etc is pre prepared over night in the fridge … nothing fresh If you charge 5 star rates you should deliver 5 Star service, I am a Hyatt Gold member, but this was my last stay here in Park Hyatt 57 Th in New York Gunter

Friendly and accommodating staff in a great location. The amenities and the room, especially the bath and shower were wonderful. Breakfast and lunch were good as was the coffee in the room. Amazing vacation, and the Park Hyatt made it so!
