I've never been to Pastis NY, but I'm a big Balthazar fan and this is the same energy - feels like you've just stepped into a gorgeous but approachable brasserie on a random street in Paris. The garden terrace and entire venue are just beautiful and authentic. Went with no reservation on a packed Saturday night and they were able to seat us in about 40 minutes. Server was kind and everything we ordered came out quickly. We to Brasserie Paris in Paris last year (not the same family of restaurants) and it was very reminiscent of the vibe. Loved being back in Paris for a night in the middle of Miami!
Be the first to ReplyGreat find in Wynnwood.
Plenty of outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating as well. Quick and friendly service. And the food was delicious. Feels very much like a New York Parisian, Style Spot! Came here for lunch during the week, nice vibe busy, but easy to get a table. Had the steak Frites, and it was divine 10/10 will definitely order again. Hubby got the chicken and said it was delicious. Finished with an espresso, which was perfect

Be the first to ReplyPastis is definitely a spot worth trying if you want some
Pastis is definitely a spot worth trying if you want some delicious, classic French cuisine. Between the beautiful, dimly lit indoor/ outdoor space and delicious food, I definitely recommend giving it a try. We ordered the Eiffel Sour and the Belle de Nuit to drink. The Eiffel Sour had an earthy but fruity taste and was very unique. The Belle de Nuit was good as well, but had a pretty straightforward fruity taste. To eat, we ordered the crispy artichoke, onion soup, and moules frites to share. The onion soup was some of the best I've ever had. It was rich in flavor, cheesy and decadent- everything you could want. The artichokes were yummy with a fresh lemony flavor. The moules frites were truly incredible- light and lemony but rich and buttery at the same time. The portions were very generous and could definitely be shared amongst a few people. The service was also good and our server was friendly and attentive. All in all, I definitely recommend Pastis Miami. Whether it's for a group dinner or intimate date night, they are definitely sure to please!

Pastis is located in Miami wynwood district who is known to be the Art neighborhood of the city. Pastis has a very unique European atmosphere , cozy and very warm. We were seated right away and the hostess was very nice. We went for brunch but we decided to also try some main from the regular menu. Our server took a little bit to bond with us but she was sweet and knowledgeable. I would have expected a little more from the food ... I am an egg Benedict lover and unfortunately the English muffin was overcooked and the presentation was not the best however it's a good option and I am sure the Norwegian version is very good. The avocado toast was disappointing ... bread was burned and there was so little avocado spread that we really did not enjoyed it. Cappuccino was absolutely delicious made to perfection. We ordered 'la grand aioli' which is a mix of shrimp salmon crudités served over ice and with dressings and it was very good and we enjoyed glass of rose brut. The profiteroles are delicious as well, very good portion for $16 with very good ice cream and great quality chocolate fudge. I will definitely go back to try more things.
Be the first to ReplyGreat menu, deep wine list, and exceptional bar.
Both dinner and brunch? C'est magnifique! We tried the French onion soup, and the trout, on our first visit, along with some wonderful oysters. In our second visit we had the butter shrimp salad and the lamb shank. All was perfectly prepared. The warm shrimp, with a hint of saffron was spectacular. The bar offers exceptional craft cocktails paired well with the food offerings. Valet parking is the same price as the overpriced Winwood garages, so VALET! Definitely a discovery worth finding yourself. Reservations are highly recommended. Miami has already discovered this hidden gem!
Be the first to ReplyThis was my first time trying Pastis.
The interior of the restaurant was really lovely and intimate. The outside was cute and quaint. The service was decent nothing extraordinary but not the worst either. The food was delicious however a bit overpriced. I would HIGHLY recommend the crispy artichokes as they were packed with flavor. The burrata was delicious and tasted fresh. The ribeye was good and the fries were crispy. The crème brûlée was a great way to end this delicious meal. I must say that the chocolate milkshake was probably the best milkshake i've ever had so I definitely recommend getting a milkshake! They have a valet but I found it pretty easy to get street parking during the week, parking on the weekend may be a bit more difficult. Overall a place worth trying out at least once.

I had quite high expectation being french and hoping to finally have a great french restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not happen. I went twice before I write this review.. thinking the first time may be one off. I went twice for lunch. I ordered a truite amandine.. bathing in a burnt butter bath , topped with burnt almonds. Also too salty very disappointing The second time went for a bouillabaisse.. small and so salty It was difficult to finish. Otherwise the service is spotless and the ambiance is nice. I won't be back but I would bet the ambiance is much better for dinner. Finally , you have much better options in Miami for this price.

Finally experienced Pastis ! And if was a dream come true, after hearing so much about it, I couldn't wait to see if it lived up to the hype, and I can confirm without a doubt that it absolutely did. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was charming and inviting. Not a single empty table , and it was 9:00 pm on a Friday night ! There was not one dish we got that we did not like , everything was bursting with flavors. However, the only hiccup was the steak, which arrived slightly undercooked for our liking. But, the moment we mentioned it to our waiter, they handled it with impeccable grace and brought out a perfectly cooked replacement in no time. That's what I call exceptional customer service, and it truly elevated our dining experience at Pastis. The drinks we're on the small side but delicious none the less. I can't wait to come back
