A cute, charming, hole in the wall with great authentic pizza. When you walk in you are hit with the smells of their food and get a great view of their pizza oven. Once you see the pizza oven, you know you are in for a treat. For starters if you have a gluten allergy this is your place to get pizza. You can get any pizza made gluten free and most of their salads and antipasti as well. You have to start with the cavoletto di bruxelles salad. It is absolutely amazing and the pistachios make it! It's the perfect starter before you dive into their delicious pizza. Now let's move onto the pizza. They have so many delicious choices to choose from so don't panic because all of them are amazing! I had the margherita Al crudo and pignatiello. Both were absolutely incredible! The pignatiello was a little rich but yet so flavorful. Next, I had the margherita al crudo which was amazing but it was a little bit to oily for my taste. The flavor was there but I wish they didn't use that much oil. Overall, this place is incredible and I would definitely be back. The atmosphere alone captivates you in because of the pizza oven and it makes you excited to indulge your tastebuds. If you are in the area, I highly recommend it. You will not regret it!

One of my favorite restaurants in LA and definitely my favorite pizza spot in the city. The dough and ingredients on the pizzas are second to none. The tangy but not too sour (but still a little sour I'm a good way) and not sweet tomato sauce on their margherita is second to none. Their spinach pizza also never disappoints.Very veggie and vegan friendly as well, but everything is good. Most pizza spots treat their salads as second nature, here their salads stand on their own. As do their desserts. Make sure to check out their rotating menu as well. Most restaurants slip a bit in quality after a few years. I am glad that they have tried to keep up the quality and the food is as good now as when our family started going years ago.
Be the first to ReplyWelcome to Pizzana; Wet pizza, served with a scowl.
I was excited to visit after seeing all the rave revies, even one from a popular chef actor on Netflix. Normally, I only take my cues from the cooking channel- but I'm local so what the hell. I made a reservation for a sunday night and arrived to quite the bustling scene. The tables were packed tight and wait staff was not very friendly. I was hungry, so I ate the soggy margherita and vowed never again. It felt just like being at a mall food court till the bill brought me back to reality. No ma'am, Fran. Pizzeria Mozza is still the only place I feel the is worth a trip and a splurge.

Pepperoni mushroom pizza! Pizzana never disappoints! It's fun to sit behind the counter while enjoying your beer and watching the delicious pizza come together! Thanks Pizzzna Brentwood and it's great staff!

(3.5/5) Came for the first time to celebrate a birthday! It was fun and cute but could've definitely been better.Food: Our waiter suggested some vegetarian pizza options, we went with one they suggested (Cacio E Pepe) and one that sounded good to us (Neo Margherita). The Marg was fabulous! The Cacio not so much, it tasted like fettuccine alfredo and just wasn't my thing. We didn't want to say anything though as there were already other people complaining a little aggressively at another table. Service: We were running about 10 minutes late to our reservation so we called to let them know. They do have a 15 minute grace period which the person on the phone reiterated in a somewhat annoyed tone. As we were walking in we got a notification that our reservation was cancelled (before 15 mins) but we were still seated. Our waiter was lovely! But not very attentive. Our teas were empty almost the entire meal. I tried flagging someone down but no go. Didn't get one refill until we got the to-go box.Service does mean a lot to me so I was a little bummed about it. Especially since it was a birthday.Atmosphere: Trendy but casual, perfect for a date. Loved the pizza holders at the table, so cute! Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, this place is popular. On the reservation there is a spot to note if you're celebrating something which I did but nothing happened...
Be the first to ReplyI visited Pizzana during my trip to Los Angeles.
They have some of the most delicious pizzas that I've ever tasted. I recommend their Margherita and Spinaci pizzas and Panna cotta for dessert. The tables are relatively limited, so make your reservation as soon as possible.

The Pignatiello Pizza was absolutely amazing! The braised short rib and the chunks of fior di latte cheese added such a unique twist to the pizza. It was fresh, hot, and every bite was so delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was very mellow and the interior was minimalistic. I would love to come back to try their other pizza dishes. I have my eye on the Neo Margherita for next time.

Lives up to the TV hype. Been here twice and my opinion of the place has not changed. Great service, incredible food.Depending on when you come, the place could be very full, so I'd probably call ahead or make reservations. Parking can be strenuous sometimes too if you come during prime meal times. My favs are definitely the Polpette al forno and the Margherita.
Be the first to ReplyI've been coming to Pizzanna since 2020.
Used to nanny and one of the moms I worked for suggested it (she was a transplant from New York so I trusted her)-- needless to say -- it's become a favorite! I've tried a few different pizzas here but my absolute favorite is the Spinaci with gluten free crust. My husband loves to get the Pignatiello. I've also had the Funghi & Carnivora. I always just get Spinaci--I love the taste of how they roast the whole pieces of garlic on their pizza. Meatballs are pretty tasty (polpette Al forno)Most of the time I am disappointed with the side salads but this time around we got the Cavoletto DI Bruxelles--very flavorful! Some of the comments about the pizza being overly salted are true. Sometimes they get a little heavy handed with the salt--but that has only been my experience a few times. I love Pizzanna pizza but they are a little pricey. If you're looking for Neapolitan pizza on a budget--go for Midici :) still flavorful and better on the pockets! Midici is also a great vibe.Oh and almost every time we go to Pizzanna the service is not great. This last time we went, we had to sit outside and the waiter barely came out to check on us. I also think people in LA shouldn't bring their dogs to restaurants The couple that sat next to us had a begging dog, and kept coming close to our table hoping I'd drop food. Oh and last thing... we love sweet wine! Would love if Pizzanna put some sort of Moscato on the menu like Pizzeria Mozza--(this place has GREAT PIZZA TOO) and GREAT APPETIZERS! They've actually been featured on Chef's Table on Netflix! (Pizzeria Mozza) my hubby personally likes that place better :) -- it truly is delish but that a whole other review!

First time dining in and ordered my go-tos: Cacio e Pepe (duh - this is an absolute must) and Carnivoro. Service was great and food came out quickly. Street parking or a small parking lot in the rear with limited spaces.

After seeing this restaurant on Chef Show my husband and I were pretty excited that it was close to L.A. we really wanted to check it out. The chef Daniele Uditi has also been on make this tonight he seems like a cool guy and his recipes are so authentic. I'm a home cook and cooking is alot of work, so before I'm gonna make this tonight we're gonna go check out your food then maybe I'll make it tomorrow night. we were really hoping to see Daniele but he was off that day we went there for dinner. We have been experiencing a bad year lots of loss and heartache we had a bad day and decided to treat ourselves. Our server was Henry since it was our first time there he made great recommendations for wine and the best pizza's. We started with the meatballs which where so light and delicious the sauce was so simple and complementary to the meatballs it came with grilled bread and I'm not gonna lie after we ate the bread and meatballs we scooped up the rest of the sauce with our spoons it was that good! Next, with Henry's recomendation, we had the vodka pizza. The pesto and chillies really made this pizza for me, but honestly not only was the food exceptional but the costumer service was also amazing! Even though we had a rough day, Henry and the lady who was the manager were so kind and accommodating that we forgot our troubles and had a wonderful dinner with good food and good company. Next time Daniele we hope to take a picture with you. Until then we wanted to give a big props to your Manager and to Henry. Thank you guys so much for a wonderful experience!

Best pizza in Los Angeles, period! The funghi one and classic margarita one are my go to. The dough is like just right amount and flavor is through the roof. Wouldn't miss this place.
Be the first to ReplyPizzana is my go to pizza spot in LA.
I never have to wait for a table and the takeout is so fast. I've been to naples, Florence, Venice, Milan, and Rome and to be honest this pizza beats any of the pizza I had in Italy (I'm just a sucker for hot honey). The dough is apparently imported from naples which explains why it's so good. I like the cacio e Pepe and diavola and funghi :)
Be the first to ReplyThe food was so good.
All they have is pizza an some appetizers but their pizza is well worth it. Crust and material is made by the restaurant themselves so you know it's good. Would definitely go back. Customer service was top notch as well.

Pizzana makes some solid pizzas, my favorite was the Spinaci. One main reason I don't think they deserve a 5 is that the restaurant feels very cramped, as they've tried to sardine pack everyone to increase table space.

SO FIRE other than the fact that they messed up our pizza order but dont worry we got our pizza. caesar salad was fire and pizza is soooo fire. tip: ask for honey and chili oil on the side and drizzle it on top

My favorite pizza spot! They have a restaurant in Sherman oaks as well, both spots have great food and service. Same menus. I love mushrooms and their fuhngi pizza was fantastic and their crust is delicious too. The chopped salad was well dressed and highly recommended. Not too long of a wait for lunch time! Very limited parking in the back
Be the first to ReplyIt was just ok.
I don't think I will go again. Pizza was whatever and the restaurant didn't feel very clean and updated.
Be the first to ReplyMy first time trying this pizza place was ordering take out.
I decided to try the brisket pizza since there were such good reviews of it, and it did not disappoint :). I ordered through DoorDash and everything was ready on time. I selected the "Heat and slice" option, which was recommended. I did not mind heating it in my oven for the 2 minutes it suggested and slicing the pizza myself. I think it definitely helps the pizza taste as intended! The pizzas did seem to be on the smaller side, similar to the size of Blaze pizzas, so ordering two may be more ideal for sharing.
Be the first to ReplyI have been following Daniele Uditi for quite some time
I have been following Daniele Uditi for quite some time now, and have been inspired by his passion for pizza, which has thus influenced my own cooking and pizza technique at home. Obviously, it would make sense why my excitement towards finally dining at Pizzana was so high. Upon entering, I instantly noticed that the pizzaiolos in the kitchen seemed inexperienced. The rate at which pizzas were being made and coming out was incredibly slow, and for a Naples-influenced pizzeria, this is not typical. I understand Daniele is not going to be there every single hour, every single day, he has priorities, but I was at least expecting to receive a similar product to what he produces when he is behind the apron. My party ordered 3 pies and a chopped salad, all coming out relatively slow. Each pie is supposed to be around 12' and ranges from 20-25 dollars in price. We ordered the carnivore, the vodka, and the Corbarina. The salad was fine, and the vegetables were all fresh, but there was way too much parmesan cheese, which overpowered the quality of the other ingredients. The pizzas all came out at varying times, and in addition to the variation in terms of time, there was quite a variation in the shape and appearance of the pies. The vodka pie was not uniform, shaped very unproperly, and saturated with oil (I don't care if there's a lot of oil, but they need to understand how much to put when you have ingredients like coppa which naturally release its own oil). The shape is such a big deal with pizza because it can ruin a crust, and it did just that on the vodka. There was no air in the cornicion, making it flat and tough (not chewy and light). Great Dough does not matter when the process from point A to point B perishes. Additionally, the bake on all three pizzas was different, the carnivore being the only one to have any crisp. The best pizza of the three was actually the Corbarina, as the cherry tomatoes, squash blossoms, and tomatoes were incredibly fresh and packed with immense flavor. This pizza was also the only one that had the correct amount of sauce, and the rest were drier than the desert. I'm not knocking Daniele Uditi's ability to make an amazing pizza, I'm knocking Pizzana. I know the usual pizza coming out of their magnificent Ferrara oven is not what I received, but this review is based on my experience, not others. Lastly, the service needs to do better, our waiter was extremely inattentive and multiple times we had to ask some other staff member for something we needed or had questions about. With the amount of expansion they have done over the last few years, I hope the quality doesn't falter coincidingly.

I like ordering takeout here so I can drink cheap wine with this amazing pizza. I like the margherita and the one with honey. Sooo good. One of these days I'll try dine in. But I like watching movies w my pizza.
Be the first to ReplyAlright so, you're gonna have to bring your own ranch.
Yes, they have amazing pizza. Light, chewy crust, and cronchy dough bubbles. But no, they don't serve ranch. I get it, you're upscale and playing with the modern century furniture vibe. When I asked, I felt like I was in the Truman show. The room went silent and pretty sure someone in the back was clutching their pearls. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's just ranch. Make the ambience better with some """artisanal,,,, ranch.... pls?
