I went to this restaurant this evening for happy hour.
upon walking in I realize that this is not an upscale restaurant. The bathroom was completely disgusting. The employee were very cold and not friendly at all. They were also wearing what looks like gym clothes, leggings sneakers, and bras completely unprofessional. I just decided to sit at the bar to have my cocktail in the whole bar was very very sticky. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Drink was the only good thing about this restaurant. Will bro return
Be the first to ReplyFood was dry.
Service was eh, the waitress was busy smoking hookah & playing music. Music was extremely loud. Felt like I was in a night club, not the vibe I was looking for.

Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the drinks were pretty good. Other than that, got the truffle chicken and it was pretty dry. Sides were ok. Service was 2/10. Our server was in the back with a table that had hookahs most of the time. Music was extremely loud too which felt like I was at a club. Barely could hold a conversation with my fiancée that was inches apart.
Be the first to ReplyFront door Hispanic girl is horrible.
Literally walked up on a Tuesday night she looked me up and down with the most nastiest look I've ever gotten being out here and honestly I will never be coming back. Had on platform heels and she had the nerve to say I should be wearing sneakers like hers that look like she got from marshals. Meanwhile my shoes was Gucci lol Miami is such a joke and I won't be coming this is my second time at this establishment with her nasty attitude and service. If you don't like your job change your career. Poor behavior giving low budget experience. Btw I'm black so if you are also African America be mindful of this establishment and how Hispanics treat us out here.

The salmon & fried rice was amazing it had just the right amount of seasoning that blended well together! The portions are not huge but it was to my liking. The service at the bar was extremely better versus the service received when seated! Seating can become tight if your not getting bottle service, overall the Ambiance was nice & I enjoyed after hours how playa turns into more of a party lounge type vibe with a dj playing all the hits r&b/rap!

Before booking understand this is what I would consider an urban restaurant that caters to a younger crowd. Indoors are cute however they need to update the cushions in the booths, they are dirty. The hosts aren't the warmest however our waiter and the chef made up for that. The food is decent just not worth the price point for what you get.
Be the first to ReplySuper cute ambiance and good music.
Watched the game here. It was a good choice. Plus, the employees were nice.

Went to Playa on 02/02 for my friend Birthday dinner and it was quite an experience, good & bad....The ambience of the place is really nice & chic and beautifully decorated. We were escorted to our table and showed who was going to be our waitress but she didn't even introduce herself (she wasn't the friendliest but I wasn't sure if it was a language barrier) she just went around the table asking for names since we had a pre fixed menu. Food didn't take long so we were going off to a good start. We ate our food which was actually really good. My lamb chops were a little tough (no one asked how we wanted them cook but I still ate mine) as we were finishing up the young lady next to me ask for a to go plate our waitress comes by and points to the counter across from us saying "They're over there" basically motioning for her to get them herself, mind you we are already in a tight seating spot but still why do anyone has to get up to get their own containers? (Odd) as we are packing up the host brings our dessert in a big brown bag since we opted to take it to go but as we are looking in the bag we notice that they are all chocolate. We mention to the host that when we picked our dessert with the event organizer there was two options. Key lime and chocolate and we picked key lime but she proceeds to tell us that they no longer carry key lime and that they haven't in a while. 1.Why wouldn't the restaurant event organizer not know this? 2.Why is it still listed on the website as an option for pre fixed menu? So then the host goes by on to say they only have chocolate cake and there's nothing else they can do. The young lady that made the reservation goes on to tell her that this was a pre fix menu so we should get the refund portion of the dessert refunded since it's something they no longer carry. The host then proceeds to say they have cheesecake they can bring out but she literally just said they had no replacement prior to that...At this point it was just a back and forth with no solution. It was my friend birthday and it irritated her so much so that she didn't even want them to sing Happy birthday to her. She was ready to go so that's what we did. In the future it would be nice for the restaurant as a whole to be on the same page no matter how minor the inconvenience is because at the end of the day this is still a pricey high end restaurant so we expect such service...Side Note: I also went in the bathroom and it was dirty. Toilet paper on the floor on both stalls and both toilets were not flushed. Washed my hands and the hand dryer was not working and there wasn't any paper towel so I had to use toilet paper to dry my hands & open the door. This is also unacceptable and it should be looked into....Overall I give it a solid 3.0

Nice staff. Food prep requires patience. Service charge added.

Came here to celebrate my birthday with my girls, what a treat!!! The ambiance was so cute, the food was so comforting and delicious (hats off to chef) and the service we got was amazing! They definitely know how to spoil a Birthday Queen! My girls and I had the best time, thanks to Marisol for making it happen for us!

The food was great I just didn't like my potatoes of the steak and eggs. The fried egg and avocado was 5/5. The waffle was so soft and good with the syrup. We were able to enjoy our meal great sounds by a dj on a Sunday. The waiter kept checking on us and made sure our order was accurate and made sure we were able to get plenty drinks for our bottomless mimosas. The ambiance was chill not so bright dim lights and everyone was partying we interacted with the table beside us by getting them up to dance.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the worst restaurant in miami beach.
Dont walk but run from them. I made a reservation for my anniversary a month ahead. When I arrived there the waiter reminded us 3 times that we have 90 minutes to order and shove the food down our throat. And then proceeded to make my order, that night they had a preset menu for everyone and I couldn't have anything on that list due to my allergy. I asked to speak to a manager, I spoke to Gabriel that day and he was very rude. If you don't want to get treated like a lowlife animal please stay far away from that place. They only care about money. The utensils were dirty just filthy.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant was packed on a Monday night at 9:30pm.
Decor is very cute.Live DJ, Hookah options & full bar.Britt was our waitress. Very sweet girl. Attentive and had great recommendations. Only thing im taking off for is they had an offer for a "free drink" which had a date of 10/3-10/6 only.
Be the first to ReplyService was great and the environment was beautiful.
Drinks were sweet, food was dripping in oil - best thing was the desert. EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. You could go to places with good food and a view for the same price.

Came in for a quick drink after having an absolute HORRIBLE experience at a near by restaurant, I was served by an amazing bartender named Florencia. She was the most amazing and attentive bartender I've ever had and had great recommendations. Her drinks were absolutely delicious, I wish I could drink them all over again. Amazing place to dine at and an absolutely amazing bartender, will definitely be coming back if I'm served by Florencia !!
Be the first to ReplyI wanted to try this restaurant since they open but I seen
I wanted to try this restaurant since they open but I seen a lot of mixed reviews. I decided to make reservation for my friends birthday dinner. Upon arriving we waited at the bar till it was time to be seated. It wasn't a problem because we was waiting for someone to park. Once they arrived we were seated. I wasn't happy with our seats. It was in front of the kitchen , which was in the same hallway of the bathroom. The restaurant isn't that big so it's a lot of traffic in that hallway. The cushions at our booth was burnt up from the hookah coal. Where we was seated was very dim , you won't get any good selfies at the table. But they have a photographer walking around talking pictures. Which I thought was cool. I don't remember our waiter name but that probably due to him being missing for most of the night. There was a young lady by the name of Natalie that kept checking in on us, asking if we were enjoying ourself. And the manager that was on duty was nice as well. I forgot his name. Now the food and drinks are a 10/10! For starters we had the calamari and wicked spicy shrimp. Then we ordered lobster Mac , glazed salmon, lamb chops , ny strip, fried rice , mashed potatoes and broccolini. Everything was good. Shout out to the chefs that was on duty that night. I gave 3 stars only for the customer service from our waiter and seats. But the food was amazing. The manager also gave us free shots and our waiter gave us shots for the birthday girl.
Be the first to ReplyUmmmm the music was extremely too loud.
I asked to be moved to an outside seating area. I had the chicken and waffles. It was ok. My husband had the grits and some sausage. That was alright as well. I know, because I had some of it. Over all, I won't be returning. The food wasn't what we expected. However, the STAFF was amazing, kind, understanding and accommodating.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is just incredibly terrible.
We didn't even eat because the treatment was awful. We went for my friends birthday and I sat at the bar first because we were waiting for the rest of our party and ordered a drink. The bar staff is way more attentive than the hostesses and servers. We sat at our table and about 15 minutes pass and not one person came over. Not even to offer water, we continued to get passed by, even looked at like we weren't paying customers. After 30 minutes, we got up and left. The below average hostess just said "Oh. Sorry" with her trash smile. Then they let the ratchets in so maybe that's why we didn't get served because our hair wasn't one of the colors of the rainbow and we actually used proper English. Do NOT go here and spend your hard earned money. It's a beautiful place, but they have zero sense of business or customer service.
Be the first to ReplyA group of us (4 ladies) went there on a Friday night.
We had a reservation and they seated us quickly. However, the table they tried to sit us at was on the other side of the front door, literally tucked away into a corner by the bar. It felt isolated and like they just put the table there to maximize the space, in an already small restaurant. We knew if we sat there, patrons waiting for their tables would impede our already limited view of the restaurant. We brought our concerns to the host who at first said this was the only 4-person table to accommodate but then was able to find us a booth... on the opposite end of the restaurant. We looked at the booth before making our decision and to be honest, I don't know which table was worse. This booth was right outside of the kitchen door, in a very narrow hallway leading to bathrooms. Again, it felt like they just threw tables and booths into spaces to try to fit more patrons. We opted to sit at the booth since there was more room. As we started sliding into the booth, we noticed one large section of the booth had several burnt holes in the cushions from hookah coals/cigar stains! This place charges too much for a mediocre seating/dining experience! Also, because of the position of where the booth was in the hallway, it sat behind a wall so our view of the main dining area was obscured. In the back we did not get access to the main room vibes, we also could not hear the music. We ordered the Playa Playa drink, which was described to us by the waitress that it's basically a mojito with passion fruit. Terrible. It was very, very sweet and tasted like straight syrup. I tried to wait for the ice to melt to water down the drinks bit but it did not work. When we informed the waitress she shrugged and said it's usually not that sweet. She did not offer to replace the bad drink. My friend was charged a whopping $24 for a drink she did not even drink! The Caesar salad I ordered wasn't great. I split the French Ribeye steak with a other lady in our party. We ordered medium well and the steak came out well done, and very dry. $80 for an overcooked steak! The lobster Mac n cheese we split was dry as well. I expected a $40 lobster Mac to be creamy. It also did not have lobster baked in like I've always had when I order it at other establishments. I wasn't impressed with the dining. The food was subpar, basic. The ambiance and the vibes, from what we are able to experience was great! The music was great, the scenery was nice, very Instagram-worthy, if you're able to sit in the main dining area, which we were NOT. Overall, I will likely not return.

I split the $70 French Ribeye steak with another lady in our party. We ordered the steak medium well and the steak came out well done, and very dry. The steak cut tasted more like a sirloin vs a ribeye. The lobster Mac n cheese we split was dry as well. I expected a $40 lobster Mac to be creamy. I wasn't impressed with the dining. I wouldn't describe the menu/food selection as "Posh Mediterranean", more like steakhouse. The ambiance and the vibes, from what we are able to experience were great! Be the first to ReplyI'm visiting from out of state and spent some time shopping
I'm visiting from out of state and spent some time shopping here on Lincoln with my two daughters.I yelped a place to eat and this place seemed like a good place based on the reviews. The only thing that was good was the Lobster it was very tasty, branzino that my daughter got was terrible!! Do Not Order the branzino it's so damn bad. The pasta with tomato sauce and basil was bland and just not worth the money. I ordered the pasta with white wine sauce and mussels then the waiter informs me there are no mussels so I substitute it for the Lobster tail that was 6 Oz at best. We were asked to move tables 10 min after our 30 min wait for our food. The Host came over and said the owner of the restaurant had just walked in and we needed to move tables due to our table being reserved? First of all when we walked in Pamela was hesitant to get us a table because we didn't have a reservation. She walks us in after looking at her tablet and finds us a table in the corner of the restaurant way in the back. She offered us free mimosas to move tables with our food I've never in my life been asked to do so. I turn down her request and say just bring me the check I'll be gone in 5 min, waiter brings the check it's 260$ for some ok pasta and terrible fish. 260 including gratuity which was not explained to me, I was so upset gave her 300$ cash so she made out with about a 80$ tip on a 230$ tab I'm not one to ask for free food but I will share on here to let you know that I'm pretty sure there are several fake reviews on here this place is to be avoided decor is nice presentation of food is good but the food is really bad except for the lobster. I work hard for my money as an electrician and spending 300$ here I felt robbed!! Hopefully someone acknowledges this review and stays away the nice decor is cute lol, service is the worst! By far the worst place we dined at in Miami. DO NOT ORDER THE BRANZINO IF YOU DO MAKE THE MISTAKE OF EATING AT THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT. It's near south beach, I was in beach attire maybe it was due to me being underdressed? Someone at Playa please lmk why I was given such horrible service at this rate you'll be closed within 3-4 years for sure if that. Middle finger emoji to this place experience was worse than dealing with the traffic at Rolling Loud. Oh the restaurant had 80% of the tables open when we walked in talk about not feeling welcomed. Don't support this business
Be the first to ReplyHORRIBLE.
We were visiting Miami in hopes of having amazing food and having a great time. We came to playa and were treated horribly because we didn't look "rich" enough for them. The food was horrible and I could not believe how horrible it was considering it was $300 dollars. The pasta tasted better at an Olive Garden and the fish tasted spoiled but at least they made it look pretty? We then were kicked out because we didn't fit their standards and were forced to hurry and eat so we can leave because "the owner asked us to leave". Horrible place to eat and horrible people please do not visit.
