Public Display of Affection Reviews from The Last Year
We play trivia around the corner and PDA is our go-to spot
We play trivia around the corner and PDA is our go-to spot for food. We love the pizzas and the owner was very generous last year, donating a prize to our holiday trivia in December. We've tried a few pies and hands down, the vegetable is our favourite! It's got some kick and unlike many people places, the vegetables are really well done, fresh (no canned mushrooms for these guys!) and never soggy or wilted. We should try more of the menu and will!
This is of my favorite spots for a solo dinner or date
This is of my favorite spots for a solo dinner or date night in Park Slope. I'm a big fan of their kale caesar and brussels sprouts and the pizza always hits the spot. PDA is a gem!
Cozy comfortable spot with great service.
4/5 Sadly the food, 2/5. The pizzas were overpriced ($24-28) and disappointing. Pepperoni tasted burnt and not much flavor in either pie except for a bit of a kick on the bottom one. Appetizers were fine although not any sort of deal e.g. broccoli $14. I'd prefer my corner slice shop.

Yum! I went here for a cute small brunch and was not disappointed. My friend and I split the Vegetable Pizza and the Kale Caesar Salad, although I had to send back the salad (because it actually had anchovies). The pizza was great. All the vegetables were not overcooked, which is hard to do on an oven-baked pizza, and the flavor was present. I can't remember which replacement salad I had but it was also good. Nothing wowed me in terms of taste but it was a really nice brunch. The service was good too. If i was in the area and craving pizza, i would definitely pop into here again.
What a charming place to grab some good food and drinks in
What a charming place to grab some good food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere! PDA has a nice selection of cocktails, as well as some beers and wines. But the pizza was the main draw for us, and it was great. Loaded with delicious toppings, and the crust was pretty good! A little thicker/chewier than what I usually like, but still a great pie. Bonus points for great service, but be sure to make a reservation - there aren't many seats inside!
Quirky wee restaurant with lovely staff.
It would have been lovely to sit at one of the outside tables but that was impossible due to the heavy rain. Good menu and a very nice Slovenian white wine. The lovely young lady who served us was very friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed the food. Only one negative comment - the bench needs sanded down as my daughter’s trousers got snagged on it.

I loved PDA! It's a bit of an odd setup since indoors is claustrophobic feeling but outdoors is alright. We got the white pizza and some carrots as our appetizer, and the really kind waitress gave us a free cookie to end the night :) such a great place to chat and connect!
I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for a while
I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for a while and wish I did it sooner. Great food and service! We had a big group and tasted half of the menu. Everything was fabulous- tasty pizzas, fresh salads, and super flavorful vegetable dishes. Highly recommend!! Tons of outdoor seating and modest amount of seating inside; do make reservations in the winter months.
Sorry to be a negative Nancy, but this place is wildly
Sorry to be a negative Nancy, but this place is wildly overpriced. I ordered a plain Margherita pie that was paper thin and it was $26 dollars. It tasted fine but there are so many better places in the neighborhood that are a way better value and with a much more satisfying slice. I recommended Peppino's--$21 for a Margherita pie that is easily twice the size and thickness and a lot tastier imo. The ambiance is nice and it's a good experience for dining in, but don't bother going here for takeout or ordering delivery. Bit of a rip off.
Learning that PDA does brunch was the best thing this past
Learning that PDA does brunch was the best thing this past weekend! We shared a bunch of delicious bites, including their crepe like burrito. Service was incredible and it's a very charming space. Short but easy wine list, all natural. Looking forward to our next visit already!
I was very excited to try this restaurant after reading
I was very excited to try this restaurant after reading they opened in March of 2020 and survived the pandemic. The drinks, salads and service were great. Unfortunately, the pizza, arguably the main reason for coming here, was subpar. We ordered three different pies and none of them were anything special. Veggie pie was too spicy and the sauce on the red pies was too something (tart?). It was just not pizza that I would need to have again. If I had to recommend something doughy I'd go with the calzone, but even that felt too heavy after a few bites. Would come here for cozy atmosphere and drinks but skip the pies.
Enjoyed the pizza here.
We had the cheese and pepperoni and they were very good. The pepperoni was better and very flavorful. I like thin crust pizza. I took one star off because of service. there was a little of wait for the pizza although there weren't a lot of people. Overall, my experience was great.

Hi @ExhaustiveMilk80, to be able to hold a bid you must have either the key holder medal or concierge medal. Holding bids allows you to work on trying to secure the reservation without someone else getting it before you and filling it
