Well...
Order delivery from this place 1 a.m. for my hotel. Ordered was delivered in 30 minutes as promised.
The food was kind of run-of-the-mill like most you find these days. The tandoori chicken was well seasoned and a tad bit overcooked. I would have liked it to come with more onions but, that's just their style I guess. The samosa was The Shining Star for this meal. Usually samosas under delivery arrive soggy. But their's was crisp and light with your typical potato and peas inside. At a buck each it was quite the deal. The the naan bread looked like it was probably pretty good if you ordered it fresh in the restaurant but, of course by the time I got to me it was a little flimsy. I overlooked this as it was, of course, delivered. The real travesty here was the paneer tikka masala. It consisted of every chopped jalapeno populating the greater New York area, swimming in a light, tomato colored goo. If it wasn't for being exceptionally spicy it would have had no flavor at all. This is pretty common with cooks that lack the skill to develop interesting flavor profiles. And frankly, the general public just doesn't know any better anyway.
All in all , it wasn't that bad an experience considering it was 1 o clock in the morning. I was grateful to be able to get hot food at this time of night
Very good

Punjab Indian Food in the Heart of Richmond Hill, Queens
When we are craving inexpensive, casual Indian food this is our go to restaurant. Do not be put off by this unassuming place. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable but keep in mind our dishes did not include their delicious fresh Nan or rice. We always order one of each and it is enough for sharing. We begin our meal with Samosas and add the spicy sauces that are provided. A plate of fresh salad made with cucumber, radish, lettuce, carrots with a light sprinkle of spices was complimentary and a wonderful way to prepare our pallets for what was to come; I enjoy the spicy Palak paneer while by husband loves their creamy chicken tikki. masala. The portions are ample and can be eaten family style. Indian beer, wine and soft drinks are available.
