What a great experience! We sat in the bar area at a low
What a great experience! We sat in the bar area at a low table which was the perfect spot for viewing the goings on and the people. Mikayla was our server and was a super nice and knowledgeable and took incredible care of us. We started out with the yellowtail appetizer. Each little bite was mouth watering. My wife ordered the salmon with beurre blanc sauce and I had the 20 ounce bone in New York Strip. Both were cooked to perfection and healthy servings. You must try the spare rib fried rice served with a soft egg on top. The experience was first class and the food was outstanding and delicious. I highly recommend sitting in the bar and requesting Mikayla. You will love her! ...thanks to our Nick!
My fiancΓ© took me for my 40ty birthday on a Saturday
My fiancΓ© took me for my 40ty birthday on a Saturday evening. He had made reservations for 4pm. Upon arrival we were quickly greated by staff and seated. The ambiance is cool and unique. Def how other Yelpers have described it. Even though we went super early for dinner there was still a healthy crowd. Our server was polite, knowledgable and made recommendations when we asked. I am giving this 3 stars because they had excellent service and ambiance but their food was..... ostentatious for the most part. Way over priced for pretty food that did not have so much flavor. Wimpy didn't really stand out. Louis' Martini - light refreshing and sweet but boring. Tuna Tataki - quality of tuna was great. Sauce was decent too. Steak Tartare - flavorless. The egg however was chefs kiss as some would say. Uni- super fresh however IMO the salmon roe was overpowering to the sweetness of the uni, masking that flavor. Hearth Beets - I appreciated that this was primarily beets. The server was gong on about the tofu purΓ©e and didn't find it that interesting. However the dish as a whole was good and I'd order it again. Gyoza - This was the evening shocker for me. 9/10. So good and would highly recommend it. It comes with a lot of toppings which IMO add to the flavor. The sauce was good but the meat inside really is what made it a great dish. Crab Pasta - We had gone around and around about whether to order this or not and ultimately we decided to. This was the best thing we had that evening. As other Yelpers have mentioned it IS an incredibly small portion for the price you pay. Therefore it's a one time deal in my book. 40 Day Dry Aged Bone In Ribeye - It was between this and the lamb. Sadly we got this. It was incredibly underwhelming. I get the name of the restaurant is Pyro and I expect them to play with fire however that is literally all I tasted. Burnt meat and it wasn't over cooked. The sauce did not add anything to the dish and IMO was on the sweet side. This was an incredible disappointment. Miso Potato au gratin - Our order looked nothing like other Yelp pictures. Not a big deal but caught me off guard. This was incredibly dry and pretty flavorless. No miso. No cheesiness. It looked like it was a few days old and had been reheated. Roasted Mushrooms - huge chunks of mushrooms and bacon. The bacon was a bit too big. These were pretty good. But in no way complemented the steak. Usually... you know, steak and mushrooms go together. But that was a bad assumption this time around. On their own it was good. Ube Panna Cotta - The mango lassi froyo did not go with this dish at all. On its own the froyo was standard. The ube panna cotta was amazing and I personally felt the coconut tapioca pudding interrupted the awesomeness of the ube panna cotta but did pair well together. Sticky Toffee Cake - IDK what I was expecting. But this tasted like a spiced cake to me. Like someone made Al pumpkin cake but didn't add the pumpkins. There was no toffee flavor or crunch. It wasn't sticky. Very very underwhelming and would not get it again.
Ambiance was very cute and vibey.
Would absolutely eat here again. Food was delicious. Do not skip the short rib skewer! 40 day dry aged ribeye, potatoes au gratin, short rib fried rice, crab pasta. All delicious! And leave room for the panna cotta.

So blessed to be aware and in this industry especially when we get a new gem of a culinary treasure like this. We tried something off almost every part of the menu The drinks are top notch Appetizers included something cooked and something raw Yellowtail crudo was fantastic. Uniquely done as folded roll so one bite and all the flavors Meatballs were unreal Spicy , sweet, salty..... rice was perfect Asian pear salad was dressed very well and not over seasoned The salmon was some of the best I have ever had. Phenomenal Service was good but to the credit of the staff this place is BUSY. The bar and restaurant is pretty savvy and chic hip. A little too much but it fits the neighborhood. Will be returning soon

We tried Pyro for the first time today and had a decent experience. Aside from the difficulty of figuring out parking and the somewhat cramped feel of the restaurant, everything was great. The restaurant had an upscale vibe to it and some great decor. And our waitress was super helpful and attentive. I believe she was running the bar but also serving our side of the restaurant as well and we never once needed to ask her to come over. She gave great recommendations from their drinks and food menu and everything came out great. We ordered their Yuzu-Shiso Outside and their Matcha Espresso and both drinks were delicious. In terms of their food, we ordered their short rib skewers and spicy salmon hand rolls for appetizers and they were probably my favorites of the entire night. The short rib literally melted in your mouth as you ate them and the rolls were fresh and filling. We also got their filet mignon, miso potato au gratin, and their crab pasta and both were really good too. The pasta was a little salty but overall had a lot of flavor and the steak was cooked perfectly with a little bit of crust. The potato was definitely a bit heavy and a little cheesy but still very tasty. Overall the food, drinks and service were awesome and if it weren't for the problematic parking and cramped feel of the restaurant, I would have given it 5 stars. Will come back again.

Def one of my fav spots now!! Everything was so yummy -the drinks food deserts all of it was a 10/10
Went there this weekend and had a 16oz ribeye @$5.
50 an oz. The steak was very pathetic is all I will say. Don't waste your money on it. Appetizer and desert were really good though. Service was also good. They have some work to do in the steak department though. This will be my second visit and my last.
The space is private & sexy in the lowlight.
I went with my partner & ate a bit of everything. Short Rib Rice & skewer were top tier. Service was second to none & was super helpful during the experience.

Connect with users posting reservations for PYRO Phoenix
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with PYRO Phoenix. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to PYRO Phoenix at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the PYRO Phoenix page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* MaternalRecord73, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* MaternalRecord73 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to MaternalRecord73 for any questions Peter may have as MaternalRecord73 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* MaternalRecord73 now uses their connections at PYRO Phoenix to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If MaternalRecord73 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, MaternalRecord73 receives the $200 reward which is credited to MaternalRecord73's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at PYRO Phoenix!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
