We came to Queensyard to catch up with some friends.
I was thrilled they put our table along the window so we could get the beautiful view of the Oculus. Our server and the service were exceptional all night. We were undecided on which wine to split, so she brought us samples to try until we found the right one. The cabernet we chose was smooth and light. We even had our silverware changed to match our meals. I ordered the bbq ribs because the server said it had more to it than the lamb chops I originally wanted. I was pleased with the amount and the flavor of the ribs. The sauce wasn't your typical bbq flavor, which made it unique. Each rib was tender, and the crispy onions were equally delicious. The truffle fried were crispy and the aioli sauce paired well. The views, service, and food make Queensyard a must visit.

Great views, magnificent service and pretty good food! I will for sure be back the next time I'm in NYC
Be the first to ReplyFood is always good.
Service is really hit or miss for me, sometimes they are very attentive and other times they can be very slow. The staff is always friendly and eager to help when available. The amazing view and seating makes up for the days with slower service.

10/10 recommend! It's not often you get white glove service these days especially with being a random customer not someone with status or someone with relationships with management. I appreciated Milos so much for his service and etiquette not only over the phone but also in person throughout our meal. Outside of the great service, the food and drink were also so good! Definitely will be coming back!

There are no 6 top tables close to the window. Those are only for 2 & 4 tops. No worries- even with the rain we had a decent view of The Vessel. Queensyard decor is beautiful- great photo ops for sure. The service was spotty however. Some items took forever to come out but we had few complaints about the food. The flavors were spot on although the plates were smaller portions than we are used to. The cocktails however were very inconsistent. Some of us ordered the same cocktail and each glass tasted different. Because of that experience we all went to our regular 'go-gos' for the second round of drinks rather than their specialty cocktails. This was a fail too. How could 3 Hendricks & tonics all taste so different? We were celebrating a birthday and even mentioned it on the reservation- there was no acknowledgment of that. Anyway, it's a great date night place. Not sure if it's ideal for a group.

Queensyard is a beautiful restaurant with polite and gracious staff. We definitely felt like royalty walking into the establishment. The drinks are EXCELLENT and the food is tasty, with great portion sizes. I will only make this complaint, which is pretty significant: We went there for a birthday celebration, and the waiter not only DID NOT comp pur choice of dessert, he brought out the tiniest, littlest, smallest -- I can't even name it. It looked like an itty bitty soft cookie, with a single candle in it. The waiter said a quick Happy Birthday and rushed on. Hardly film worthy and nothing we would post pictures of in any outlet. That alone dropped their rating and would make me not recommend Queensyard for ANY celebration.

Great location and view! Conveniently located inside the mall and in Hudson yards so it's somewhere you can stop by to have dinner. But I wouldn't recommend traveling from somewhere far just to visit.

Be the first to ReplyDinner out with two friends.
Let's start at the bar. Excellent martini - just the right mix of gin and vermouth. Icy cold. And the second one was just a good. On to dinner. Beautiful table by the window. Delicious grilled octopus and brocollini. Attentive service and -- wonder of wonders -- we could hear each other across the table without raising our voices. All restaurants should take note. We don't dine out for the noise.

But we stumbled upon this place strolling around the city and it has a great vibe. Though it was pretty crowded it wasn't overwhelmingly, pretty chill and relaxing with lovely (fake) flower arrangements cascading from the ceiling. Great location and view of the water. Drinks were good and we ordered some table snacks (olives were not good at all but we weren't there for the food)

I came here on a Friday night with a reservation for 6:30 and was able to be seated earlier. It is based on first come forst serve for where you'd be seated though. We did want a window seat but that wasn't available as they didn't know when each table would leave. Regardless, the servers were really attentive, though at one point several servers kept coming around asking if we were finished with our meal. The ambiance is quite ideal for a date night. Lights are also dimmed to become more romantic as the sun sets. They offer a prefixe menu along with a la carte. We opted for a la carte. We ordered the grilled octopus to start, the salmon and ribeye as the mains and a side of brussel sprouts. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and easy to eat. It wasn't chewy or anything and had the right amount of seasoning. The brussel sprouts were also nice and right amount of charr. The salmon was also cooked nicely, although the skin had a tad bit too much salt. The ribeye, we ordered medium, and it was just right, not overdone. The sauce on top of the potato was too salty and overpowering. Overall a very pleasant experience. I also did not mind not having the window seat. Just one thing tho, it started to get a bit chilly as we sat longer...

Came here with my bestie on a Thursday afternoon and had a decent time. I wasn't blown away by the food but it's a great view of the vessel if you get a window view like we did.Queens yard is well decorated but I won't rush to come back here as the service was just ok as well. Overall underwhelming.
Be the first to ReplySuper cute restaurant! Love the flowers and neat set up.
The Smashed avocado with sweet potato chips were good, addicting to say the least. The Brussel sprouts were good except the fact that they were incredibly salty. The garden salad was super fresh but needed more vegetables and a variety rather than just lettuce. The egg sandwich was alright, had a great croissant but the egg itself tasted like it had came straight from a microwave. The Caesar salad had a pretty presentation and was simple to eat, yet it was not the traditional salad and there were dill seeds that were very strong. The avocado toast was just one slice of sourdough bread, nothing too special. Took 20 minutes to serve so fairly a good amount of time.

Met a friend for happy hour at this restaurant in Hudson Yards. Lovely atmosphere as we sat in the lounge chairs/tables by the bar. Ordered a Cosmo which was yummy. We ordered 2 apps and we like one (brussel sprouts) so a hit or miss there. Definitely on the expensive side but guess to be expected since at a touristy venue.

Was super excited to come try this spot, but had a huge disappointment. First off, came here only to try the Purple Lady (I'm a big fan of gin), said it was unavailable. Okay understandable, I asked our server what other Gin drinks he recommends- he just opened the drink menu and showed me the gin section, saying there were many options to take a look at it. Well yeah... I know... I read it over before- I asked for a recommendation ? First red flag. Ordered fairly quickly b/c we knew what we wanted. First appetizer, grilled octopus, came out pretty fast 7:09pm (seated at 6:50, ordered at 55) this was really yummy we were done within 5-7 mins (around 7:15-7:20). Then we waited for OVER 50 MINUTES for the main lamb porterhouse , squid ink pasta, and Brüsselsprouts to come out. If you count the time when I first ordered it would be around 1 hour for the main course to come out. Absolutely ridiculous. AND THE PLACE DIDNT SEEM THAT BUSY EITHER ?!!! Other tables that got seated LATER than us received their food first. I even saw another table order lamb as well. But ours... no where to be found. Around the 40 min mark I asked the server when our food would be out. He just said it'll be out soon. I asked its been 40 minutes, and he said the lamb porterhouse was very thick so it takes long. Well maybe if we ordered our lamb well done, but we asked for it medium rare. So I thought this explanation was BS. When the food finally came out the lamb was TINY and cold. The squid ink pasta was absolutely disgusting and cold as well. I'm a big foodie and I also work in the restaurant industry so I honestly try to be super understanding but this experience not redeemable or defendable- was an absolute disappointment, full of excuses and bad service. Would give 0 stars if I could. For the sake of sanity please do not go here.

I've come here a few times and it's always been great! The drinks are different and delicious. I most recently came for an app and dessert. We got the bread and butter appetizer. It was so fluffy and tasty. I got the pink lady as a drink and it was amazing! I ended up getting another. We got the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was very yummy but was so big we couldn't finish it!

I came here with a friend for a weekend brunch around 12pm and we were seated pretty quickly. I ordered the Skate Katsu which is essentially fish and chips. The fish katsu was fresh and the sauces compliment the dish well. I would rate the flavors of this dish 3.5/5. It was good to eat but nothing with a lasting impression. My friend ordered Chicken and Waffle which was very good, we both liked it! Truffle is always a nice touch haha.
Be the first to ReplyQueensyard, an American restaurant within NYC Hudson Yards.
Influenced with the style and design of London and English counrty home. A cozy splendid environment overlooking the Thomas Heatherwick Vessel. The view is absolutely AMAZING How was it?: I had the "Smashed Avocado" appetizer, fresh avocado with sweet potato chips. The "Queensyard Burger" was a classic made with bacon and a sweet bacon jam. The dessert was one of a kind, "Sticky Toffee Pudding". Warm cake, chocolate crunch, toffee sauce, and orange flavored ice cream for the win. But nothing beats the Queen Elizabeth inspired "Purple Lady" cocktail. Made with plum liquer, Hendrick's gin, egg white and lemon

Not sure what this place is shooting for but it definitely isn't the stars! Bad all around experience. Go to a food truck instead.
Be the first to ReplyService is very slow, over priced, menu limited.
Don't bother with so many great places - there has to be better options.
Be the first to ReplyBeen here twice and the food was great both times.
The view is worth the visit too! Last time we went it seemed they over-sat so even thought we have a reso we had to wait for a bit. But we had a drink at the bar so it was ok!

Pet friendly environment , great view and good service got off set by long wait for main entree 50 mins and very tough steak. The salmon Benedict and chicken waffle was good. So if you avoid the steak it should be 4 stars

The menu is very simple but we liked everything that we ordered. The restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms. Two thumbs up!!!
