Modern Polish cuisine.
Ambience is certainly unique. Only two tables occupied on an early evening weekend. Situated in an ex PRL hotel building. Seating is well spaced allowing good privacy Menu was limited. Starters of Pates, meats selection, roasted nuts were good Swedish table fare. Meals were simply presented with focus on the main ingredient. For example, Steak Tatar was made of excellent beef and an egg, no distracting extras. Halibut was also excellent. My friend also complimented his kidney dish which is not always easy to prepare correctly. Good selection of white wines but only one Spanish red option! Server was pleasant but not properly trained eg: removing food dishes without asking if guests had finished etc

Terrible service. It’s difficult to even enjoy the food given the attitude of the employees. It’s takes a dedication to provide such a consistently unfriendly service. Food is okay but the menu is chaotic and difficult to understand and the waitress clearly had no idea what they were offering. She was also clearly irritated by our lack of understanding of the eclectic mix of starters / mains / sharing plates. P.S. If this was an ironic attempt to mirror communist times - apologies, I didn’t get it and most guests certainly neither do.

Superb food. Every course modern and inventive. Extremely good value set lunch menu. Polish twist to every dish. Impeccable service

We had business dinner, and we order all starters, and half mains.
All dishes are simply delicious!
Thx&Enjoy!
All food greasy, very bad price-quality ratio
Syper noicy restaurant where the architect only thought of design and not acoustics... we lefr exhausted by noice. Service not really interested in customers, not interested to explain the menu, nor to serve. It took 30 min from the moment we sat down to the moment we got served the wine.
Mise en bouche super greasy: fat soup, with 2 other fat apetisers we did not finish (slices of slonina and porc-fat fried chips).
Entrees are rather for beer than for a restaurant starter: nuts in caramel good but its not food! « Ptysie » just 3 pieces also good for beer only. Should be for free and not paid!
Main dishes: tartare ok but with tones of cheese (?), spaezle like on german motorway- ok but for what we paid such money?, pierogi ok but small, lamb good and well cooked, taken with baked mushroon (1 piece), still for a total of 100zl even this dish is a scandal, you can get this quality for much cheaper in warsaw with better starters and service.
If the prices were divided by 2 could be ok as polish revisited food place but at this level the offer, service and quality of expecience it is unaceptable.
Do not recommend
A Dining Experience
Not an obvious Restaurant from the outside in an old Warsaw Building, head up some grand stairs into a foyer then down two flights to the basement restaurant which is huge!
The menu is small with sharing plates and starters that can also be mains and then larger dishes... the presentation and cuisine is modern and more of a dining experience embracing Polish traditional dishes... Attentive service, relatively steady for a Monday evening and would imagine an amazing atmosphere at the weekend!
Industrial Modern Polish
Went here on a recommendation of a family member with another couple. It was a little hard to find because it is basically located in a basement of a hotel. The decor inside was very sleek and modern and well spaced out, nice setting.
Quite a few menu choices to select from, it was almost "tapas" style with smaller and larger plates so our party was able to sample about 6-7 dishes in total. The standout were the ribs in my opinion. It was Polish food but but with a very modern twist which was a breath of fresh air. Also the wine list was good and reasonable priced. It would be a nice place to go on a date or a special occasion as well. I would return to dine here again.
