Service above and beyond
My wife and I had a fabulous experience at Da Emma. Both the food and service were 5 star. Da Emma is tucked away in a basement level with just the right lighting and ambience to feel so warm and cozy. I mistakenly left my hat after dinner. I call
Disappointing dining experience
This charming looking restaurant was recommended, but was sadly disappointing. The food was very mediocre and the service was slow and spotty. Near the entrance there are photos of many celebrities who have dined there. I’ve been told that the m

Disappointed.
We went with another couple and we were all disappointed. The restaurant was recommended but we won’t recommend it to anyone. We were greeted by the unfriendly hostess who walked ahead of us to the table but by the time we followed her down the sta

The restaurant was warm and inviting. The staff friendly and attentive. They paced our meal so we weren't rushed. The nicest thing was the food. My salmon carpaccio with arugula was lightly seasoned with a splash of olive oil on top of thinly sl
Ask for Franco!
My family had the best experience this past weekend at Da Emma. Great food and atmosphere but the service is phenomenal. Franco went above and beyond and made our visit extra special. 100% recommend!
Nice classic Italian near Griffingtown
Classic Italian, not very sophisticated but homey. You get better service if you are dressed for the occasion! some waiters may leave you with the odd impression that they are doing you a favor by waiting on your table. We like going back when we are
Excellent food, service and atmosphere
We were two couples who had an outstanding, leisurely meal here. We were not rushed in the slightest, and had plenty of time to enjoy everything. There was plenty to enjoy as the food was excellent. Service was great as well, and our server was not o
Unimpressed
Food was just ok. Service was suffient, but our server was inattentive and uninterested in serving us. His deamnor was grumpy, and he didn't smile and hardly spoke to us. He just dropped the plates quickly and walked away. We had swordfish and r

Maialino was as good as I remembered from my last visit to Montreal; brought a friend, who had the agnolotti with gorgonzola…. excellent :) Great wait staff; we thoroughly enjoyed the experience
Stay away.
We were very excited to go to Da Emma - it was on many best of lists and the room looked so beautiful online. I thought the menu was a bit limited (apps were all variations on a theme - veal the only base for most pasta) but we went for it. Our wai

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Restaurant Da Emma Montréal at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Restaurant Da Emma Montréal page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
    1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* GallantAnswer60, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* GallantAnswer60 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to GallantAnswer60 for any questions Peter may have as GallantAnswer60 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* GallantAnswer60 now uses their connections at Restaurant Da Emma Montréal to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If GallantAnswer60 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, GallantAnswer60 receives the $200 reward which is credited to GallantAnswer60's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Restaurant Da Emma Montréal!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
