Restaurant Divellec Paris Reviews from The Last Year
Avoid – not worth a single Michelin Star
NOTE: I am giving this rating based on other 1-star restaurants I have eaten at around the globe. Do not waste your money and stay away. One Michelin Star? For this clown posse of a dinner? How can this be? Maybe the Guide Michelin indirectly favors local restaurants to support the local culinary economy and "forgets" to revisit them regularly. Because Divellec was nowhere near other one-star restaurants I have eaten at. In fact, I can think of many other places that delivered better food and service and have none. It started well with a friendly and attentive service. Then again, at that point I was alone in the restaurant. I got delicious bread, but no butter or butter knife. While there was a little container with olive oil, I was not provided with a dish to put it into and dip. Maybe I should have demonstratively cured it straight into my mouth? Initially the wine person (would not call him a sommelier) was attentive, but when I was done with the main and dessert was served, my empty wine glass was still there. It remained there even after I paid. Not only that, but while serving wine was spilled onto the tablecloth. Mind you, my water was never refilled, so I did it myself; more than once... The appetizer was fine, if you could find it under the foam. Foam, it seems, was the theme of the night: Foam on the squid noodles, foam on the raviolo, foam in my mouth when I left. Come on, people, foam is so not done any more. Maybe a bit, but definitely not a "bubble bath" for the dish! For the main, I ordered the EUR 95 lobster ravioli. Fun fact, it was ONE single raviolo. Mind you, it was bigger than usual. But one? For EUR 95? Geez! When I was done with the main, my table was cleared and I asked for a 10 min break before dessert, because so far the meal felt rushed. Needless to say, 4 mins later dessert arrived. The baba rhum was boozy, bitter, and featureless. Thank god for the Chantilly cream that sweetened the deal just enough to make it palatable. No dessert wine or digestif were offered. Did I mention my wine glass was still hanging out with me? All in all I was out in about 1h. Petit fours came after the bill, which speaks for itself. A record for Paris. This place started in the 80s. So was the playlist for the evening. While I like the music, it did not fit with the decor ambience at all. As a matter of fact, most artists singing the songs are long gone. And, as such, I wish Divellec to join them in the afterlife. Because this place only lives from its proximity to the embassies. Otherwise, it should merely be a memory of a tune played too many times four decades ago. EUR 225 for this charade...
Was very excited about this seafood-focused place but it
Was very excited about this seafood-focused place but it was quite a let-down, I am afraid. On the positive side, the space is elegant and has a bit of an Art Deco charm to it. Outside of that, the service was beyond incompetent (pretending not to speak a single word of English, pretty much grabbing the appetizer plate from me despite a response that I could use more time, and despite the appropriate position of the cutlery, not removing the crumbs from the table, not bothering with cleaning up the dirty plates and dirty napkins from a table next to me after the guests left for at least half an hour, bringing the bread but not the butter, and the list continues)... The food experience was not consistent either: I loved the squid carbonara but the monkfish for the main course was like rubber, yet the side of seasonal veggies was delightfully fresh and reminded that it is still spring outside... In other words, go figure. But overall, I expected more consistency from a place that has claimed a spot on the Michelin list and charges accordingly. In my opinion, there are more humble but much more pleasant spots in Paris that understand and celebrate hospitality.
Overpromised and underdelivered

Beautiful room. But the service is..terrible. First, even though we were an early table they wanted to seat us right at the door at the worst table in an empty restaurant. On a Saturday night they couldn't offer cocktails because they didn't have a bartender. The food made up for a lot. The tuna appetizer was a major upside surprise. The bread poulet was perfect. However the Paris-Brest they served me was stale--I don't t eat it. They were not happy accommodating the one vegan in our party. For the money, what a disappointing experience.
Dinner Le Divellec
Food ok, room freezing, service very much below average. Very disappointing compared to when it reopened. People had to wear coats in the restaurant.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
