Crêpe shop
Crêpes made nicely. The Carmel sauce was too rich for my tasting. The staff behavior towards customers needs some improvement

Bright and clean, we managed to be seated pretty quickly. I tried the Camembert galette and it was pretty tasty. I would happily visit again next time I'm in Melbourne. Service was nice and friendly, we did not feel rushed.

Great spot for savoury and sweet galettes and crepes. Very kind staff making sure you're well taken care of. Highly recommended if you're looking for French food in Melbourne.

Very good choice of wonderful French crepes. Coffee was fabulous. A bit cold in the outdoor dining area, maybe an outdoor heater would be great on those chilly mornings.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a great little find! Felt like paris
From the moment we walked in we were greated with a bonjour. Only stopped in for a coffee but read the reviews & saw the food & had to order the crepe. Coffee was great & well the crepe was out of this world delicious. I will be dreaming about. So yum!! Staff were also very friendly.
Be the first to ReplyA taste of France in Melbourne
I went on a weekday, about 11.30am. I'd read it could get really busy at lunch so figured an early lunch was my best bet. I was lucky and got a table giving me a view of the cafe's colourful interior. I had the Complete a la Roule Galette: Free range egg, swiss cheese, mushrooms, ham, black truffle oil, green salad. It was excellent! It looked great and tasted even better. Friendly service. I'd have loved to have a glass of cider with the galette, but the cider only available by the bottle (which I found expensive). I will return.

amazing service the staff were extremely lovely and the food/coffee were spectacular. looking out the window i was imagining being in France. Would highly recommend the cherie pesto

Really enjoyed the sweet pancakes. We had the lady petrova - very nice, good amount of strawberries and chocolate sauce. We also had the Biscoff & Strawberries - also very nice, but could have had more biscoff spread as there wasn’t much, but the strawberries were at a good amount.

If you're looking for a sweet spot that brings France to the heart of Melbourne then this is the place for you. Great food options and friendly staff. The queue when its busy is worth the wait!

Had a breakfast dessert here. We had the Lady Petrova which was very very good. Service was very attentive. Coffee also excellent. A must visit.

The early bird catches the galette at this extremely popular breakfast venue in Flinders Lane. Arriving early (9am! On a Sunday) we secure the last indoor 4 seats. The savory galettes are the house specialty and the Australian themes of this French establishment are subdued but unmistaken. The CHEVREFEUILLE CROTTIN (V) with whole goats cheese, pecan nuts, honey, and green salad was a stand out from our selections!

Fantastic crepes. A busy place so arrive early as we did . For lunch we had galettes a truffle salmon which was amazing! Then we had to have a chocolate crepe for our dessert. So delicious Quick service , with French speaking waiters

This is my mum’s favourite city lunch venue whenever we do anything in the city. Easy to find and lovely outdoor tables and indoor seating is available too. The galette’s are big and the staff can speak French. So my mum always converses with them in French. Fun casual atmosphere and friendly staff.

What a great little French Creperie we went twice while in Melbourne. The Galettes were great very generous fillings and they even did GF crepes and French cider. It’s small and cosy with great service. Gets busy so might need to wait for a table but we’ll worth it.

Love visiting this little slice of France whenever we are in Melbourne. Excellent crepes and galettes with French beverages too!
Be the first to ReplyNice crepes and galette
Came here for the crepes and galette, and it was quite a busy place. Manage to get a table after a few minutes wait in the queue. The crepes and galette were great. We try their signature galette of ‘complete A La Roulette Galette’ and ‘La Lotus ‘ crepes, both were excellent. Definitely worth the visit.
Be the first to ReplyFair Prices, Good Service, Great Food two Blocks from Flinders Street Station
Nice, small Restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. Well located and surrounded by old, historic buildings makes for good atmosphere. Food ist great and plentiful, while prices are below CBD Standard. Only disturbance is the constant noise from all the construction taking place, especially while sitting outside. All in all a great choice for breakfast/coffee/tea.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent crepes / gallettes
My wife and I went to have breakfast here on a weekend; and saw the long queue of people waiting outside. We had a look at the menu, and decided it was worth the wait for a table. And that was a good decision.. because the wait wasn't that long, and the food was absolutely worth it We had a few galettes - the snails and a merguez, and some coffees; and the gallettes were really excellent. The service was a bit slow - but that was understandable given the number of people and takeaways that were in progress Definitely worth multiple visits
Be the first to ReplyBusy, basic creperie
We were lucky enough to get a table on a busy Saturday afternoon & our waitress was smiling & friendly. Our crepes were OK, not memorable & I had trouble finding something not too sweet. I wouldn't return - tables too close together for comfort.

I read about this French cafe on Trip Advisor and just had to eat there. We were not disappointed. The service was friendly and very efficient. Our breakfast was beautiful. The crepes with poached apple was mouthwatering and my husband had a delicious omelette. Highly recommend a visit here . You will want to eat there every day . I do . 😊
Be the first to ReplyFabulous galettes! Worth the wait.
Waited in line for lunch for 30mins... worth it! Absolutely fabulous lunch for 2 adults and 2 older kids. Terrific wait staff. We love galettes and these did not disappoint - had the Camembert, Ham and Cheese, Ham and Egg and a Bastille Day special. Also nutella crepes for afterwards... yum! Wonderful spot after a day shopping! Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyDélicieuse chef kiss galette
We ordered a savoury and a sweet crepe and both is chef kiss amazing! This is my first time having a galette and surely will not be the last as i will come again for these amazing pancakes. Their winter mulled wine is also so good that it got us wanting more! A highly recommended visit when you are at the Flinders.

Found this place when I was in Melbourne years ago, when it was about three tables down the end of an ally. Was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Came back a couple of years later to see they'd taken over the whole lane (shows the quality and popularity of the food.) If I ever get back to Melbourne, this place is my first stop.
Be the first to ReplySo many delicious options!
We went over Easter and the place was very busy. Nevertheless the waiting time wasn't long and the Camembert galette and the two sweet crepes were as delicious as the best we had in Paris or anywhere else.
Be the first to ReplyYummy French Crepes
A quaint little place with warm homely vibes and French feels! I ordered the cinnamon apple crepe as part of their signatures - and loved the quality (batter) of the crepe, apple toppings and the AMAZING tasting cream! Ice cream unfortunately was sorely average though (they probably don’t do it themselves). But would definitely still recommend this dish.
I’m looking forward to return one day, hopefully, to give a try to their savoury crepes as well 😄
