Food was good.
Service was decent, but understandably due to the busyness. Place was small, but still good for dates. Good for small dates, but a bit noisy might not be able to hear each other clearly.

The food is always amazing and fresh! Certain locations can get quite busy, but it's usually worth the wait! The staff is energetic and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyI came here for valentine's day with my boyfriend.
The Ambiance of the whole place was so welcoming and comfortable. The staff are very cool and nice and they definitely cater to you while being there. The wait time for the food isn't crazy long maybe like 35 - 40 minutes after ordering. The appetizer they brought out was the grilled brussel sprouts and i was absolutely in love with it. It was coated in this brown sauce that really elevated the taste in my opinion. The sweet potato fries were so good they kept making me want another one after eating one. The texture isn't weird and they're not too sweet and not too salty. I also had a burger i was very surprised with the burger i usually hate pickles on my burger but honestly i didn't hate it, it was a pretty good burger. My boyfriend had the kale salad he seemed to enjoy it and it looked pretty appetizing. Once we finished we weren't really waiting that long we received the check and left. The staff was so sweet as we were leaving as well. The tables were a little small which was kind of an awkward fitting for like tall or heavyset people, but it was cute and i think it was the idea the owner was going for.
Be the first to ReplyOkay food, bad customer service.
Starting off, I was impressed by the decor and the options on the menu. When I received my food, I was surprised to see edamame on the plate which I am very very allergic to. I told the server about the situation, and about five minutes later someone came back with the same exact plate.... so I had to inform them again of my allergy. Then the correct plate was brought, but the server was a little condescending about the situation. When it was time for the bill, another entree was added that we never ordered, and they ended up charging my card $20 more than what was on our bill. Our server came back to change it and asked if I wanted to change the tip. When I said yes he responded with "Are you sure? I will have to go get my manager" and I said yes, and he proceeded to ask again. It was a weird experience, but the food was good.
Be the first to ReplyChicken sandwich here is really good.
Both of them fried and grilled, but lately I've been getting the fries. It's a good sized sandwich and has a lot of flavor with the mayo, coleslaw and pickles. They pile on 2 lathe chicken breasts on a sesame seed bun. There's usually a long wait so I recommend coming by during the week. The ambiance is good. Place is cute and small but staff is usually pretty friendly. Everything else I've had here is good as well.
Be the first to ReplyGreat foods and the service was great.
Their wait time on Sunday night wasn't bad at all. Highly recommend the Aussie Mule and the Bronte! I would love to try their breakfast/brunch menu as well

This was my second time to Ruby's, and both time it's been a solid experience. Every time I've been to Ruby's, it's always a wait and always packed. That's a good thing, it means a lot of people love this restaurant. And I understand why. It has a solid menu of healthy options along with satisfying entrees. Combine grain bowls with great coffees and juices, and you have a hit in Nolita. We sat inside, but they have a really solid outdoor dining operation that's still intact. We ordered truffle fries, shrimp spaghetti, and the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Everything was satisfying and the shrimp spaghetti was especially good.Come here for solid lunch or dinner options. You won't be disappointed!
Be the first to ReplyTasty!! Easy to walk in on a Wednesday evening at 7pm for 2.
Cozy indoor and outdoor heated seating. Tried to come here on Fri/Sat but was 1+ hour wait as no reservations. Tasty food options! Bowls, burgers, pastas, etc.! Loved the spicy Italian sausage rigatoni - super creamy. Truffle fries great too. Bondi chicken sandwich okay. Need to go back for brunch! Awesome staff and great location if you wanna walk around Little Italy / Chinatown while you wait or after you eat!

I haven't been to any restaurant in NYC more than once, but I've been to Ruby's six times and I think that says a lot.For brunch I've had the ricotta hotcakes, big breakfast, avo toast. For dinner, we usually order the shrimp avocado salad, shrimp pasta, or Brontë burger. My friends and I like to order around 3 items and share. I honestly have nothing bad to say about Ruby's. You could order anything on their menu and it'd probably be good. But my number one recommendation for brunch is the big breakfast, and for dinner... the Brontë burger. It has a hint of sweetness to it that makes it so, so good.I've never had any problems with service, staff has always been friendly when I've visited. Sometimes the napkins have little prompts printed on them where you can write your number and slide it to another table which is super cute. It's the little things :')

We went to have a brunch at one of the Ruby's Cafe at Soho location last summer. The inside was smaller than I thought. It had a lovely looking outdoor seating area, which was a nice size. It was a hot day, so we wanted something cold to go with our food. We ordered Dirt Bag Shirley, which is a "Spiked Shirley Temple aka the Drink of the Summer." It was really tasty and super refreshing! For food, I went with Spicy Sausage Breakfast Sandwich. Since it does not come with anything, I decided to add Fries with Truffle Aioli. The fries came in the huge bowl! They were perfectly fried, not greasy at all, with soft inside and crispy outside. Loved the aioli. I could have this every day...The sandwich was nice too. Eggs were super fluffy with perfect seasoning. Cheese was like melty snow, melting over on the top... Totally drool worthy. The sausage had little kick to it, but not spicy. My hubby went with the Big Breakfast. Bacon has sweetness to it, hash brown was great, packed with flavor! Tomato was super juicy, perfectly grilled. Eggs came out just the way we like them. Beans were nice too. Everything on the plate was amazing and delightful. We ended our brunch with a nice cup of Flat White. It was a strong cup of coffee, smooth and almost creamy, made to order on espresso machine. We had a really nice brunch there. The service was friendly, courteous and polite.

Came for dinner last night with a couple friends and only waited about 20 minutes for a table. We sat inside and the only complaint I have was that the music was a bit loud. It was hard to hear each other speak at some points. Regardless, the food was delicious. We got fries and brussels to split for the table. The fries were incredible. Great seasoning and perfectly crispy. We also got the chicken salad, impossible burger, and the brontë burger. All very good and would recommend. Great place for a casual dinner with friends.

This place is very good, albeit a bit overrated - I just don't know if it warrants all of the hype and long waits. However, this Ruby's is in a great location in Soho. The seating is actually split into two separate restaurants but that doesn't cause any issues while dining. The pastas are good (the crab linguine and Creamy Chicken pasta in particular) but their classic cheeseburgers are my favorite. I love a good smashburger and the fries are perfectly thin. The truffle aioli and sweet chili sauces are delicious too for dipping. It can get really busy for dinner, especially on the weekends so try to come during the week.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing dinner food.
The Brontë burger is the best burger I've had in a long time - very unique bread more like a ciabatta bread. Also very yummy pasta

Does a beef patty turn a sandwich into a burger? Does the grill marks on the flat bread make it a panini? Those were my thoughts before embarking on the delicious adventure that was the Brontë. While the patty is a lean (almost Turkey burger) texture and firmness it packs a ton of flavor with the peppers stuffed inside. Add in the fact that there is a sweet chili sauce that transforms this sandwich burger into a fusion spring roll like experience. Nothing short of a brilliant innovation and combination.

I went on a Monday around 1 PM not thinking it would be busy, but I was wrong. I was all by myself & they said the wait was 35 minutes. I had nothing else to do so I waited, & luckily it ended up only being about 15 minutes. I got the Spicy Sausage Breakfast Sandwich with Pork Sausage, Fontina Cheese, Chilli Jam, Scrambled Egg, Spring Pea Leaves, and Lemon Aioli, on a Potato Bun. Honestly, the sandwich itself was absolutely delicious. I don't normally love any type of vegetables on my sandwiches, but I tried it on this and had no issue. The chili jam is such a great touch. There's a spicy sweetness to the sandwich that I love. With that being said I don't think it's worth $13, especially when it doesn't come with a side. The server was super sweet & the vibes are very cool. It would be a great place for brunch with friends, but in my opinion, I just think it's a little overpriced for what it is.

WOW this place is amazing and I found my favorite spot to dine in NYC! It was me and my friends second day in a row dining here and I would recommend getting the shrimp pasta! Everything about the pasta is flavorful but in a subtle way. I got the ragu and it wasn't bad. I enjoyed it however because the shrimp pasta was the first dish I tried here, I cannot get the deliciousness out of my head! Next time I'm in nyc, I will be coming here again!!
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely one of the best brunches I've had in the city.
It's no bottomless extravaganza, but the food is amazing, no complaints from anyone. The BLAT is much larger than you would expect, easily another meal for those with a medium sized appetite. And the pesto is nut free! Score! Truffle fries come out piping hot and are even good cold (more leftovers, lol). IG: @cafesandthecity

Nice place for hearty, healthy brunch near Union Square/Astor Place! We came in here as a party of 3 on a Thursday morn with no reservations.I had the Breakfast Bowl (Prosciutto, Poached Eggs, Whipped Ricotta, Peas, Edamame, Avo, Sprouts, Lemon & Toasted Sourdough). The whipped ricotta and two poached eggs were creamy and decadent, perfect paired with the crunchy sourdough.Recommend if you're looking for a bright, airy brunch place.
Be the first to ReplyHands down best breakfast spot my wife and I have been to.
We were in town for 5 days and came here two times because it was so good! Fresh coconut is perfect and refreshing to start the day. And the food was 10/10!
