Felt awkward
Fairly decent food but intolerances and allergies not treated very well. To be told 'we don't do swaps' when I asked if I could have fries instead of bread was pretty crazy considering there would have been no impact to the restaurant whatsoever and I can't imagine much of a difference in price? I have a limited diet at the moment which is difficult enough without being made to feel awkward when eating out. Would suggest that at the prices you are charging you reconsider this 'rule' (if it is one) for the sake of making your guests feel a little more comfortable. 3 stars given because all the other staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolute nightmare of a restaurant to have dinner. They made every effort to ruin a great business event a fwalty towrs.
Total shambles of management and no room to adapt to a party of 15 to support and comprise to a meal for which they had already taken £1500 before we even sat down. I would avoid this place like the plague.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food & brilliant service
Held an event at Sea Containers and the restaurant accommodated our large party of 24 people. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous and everything was delicious. The staff were attentive, friendly, professional and warm. The whole experience was flawless. 10 stars would be more appropriate than 5.
Be the first to ReplyA great spot for brunch
A brilliant find on a walk by the Thames. The service was quick and the food very good. We added the bottomless Prosecco which was great value. Lovely atmosphere and well maintained dining area. We were served by Martina who was excellent and very attentive. I will certainly be returning - the table is already booked.
Be the first to ReplyEXCELLENT SATURDAY BRUCH
Excellent food, location & atmosphere. We added the bottomless prosecco to our meal which was brilliant value. Food was great with a good choice on the Bruch menu. The service was exceptional from all staff that served us.

Fab food, fab service, fab location. Martina really looked after us well. Thoroughly recommend Sea Containers. We’ll be back!!

We enjoyed a brilliant well priced lunch in a relaxing environment. The service we received from the lovely Martina was fantastic.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, poor service
Firstly, I will start by saying that the food is very good, and the restaurant's ambience is great. It's London so the prices are high, you have to expect that. What let our visit down is the extremely poor service. The waiter assigned to our table/section couldn't be bothered! We had our starters before the drinks had been delivered to the table!! We had to ask multiple times to make an order or get what we ordered. It did feel like he was only interested in the table next to us, which had two young ladies he could flirt with; it all felt very inappropriate in that setting. There was also something going on between him and another staff member due to the comments and under-breath swearing (that wasn't all that quiet) he was making. It's a real shame as some other waiting staff were very good, as we had to ask them for stuff. As the kicker, a 13.5% gratuity is automatically added to the bill at the end. If a waiter has gone above and beyond, I don't have an issue with tipping, but not when it's below what is classed as basic service and the expectation of the job.

Excellent food and a great service, beautiful space! Would definitely recommend going there for brunch. Can’t wait to go again
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and drink in a very lovely spot
We ended up coming here after a horrendous experience at the shard. We were staying at the hotel so after being a bit deflated from our disappointment we decided to come for some food at the hotel. Carolina, our waitress was fantastic and really lovely and chatty. Food was nice and the cocktails even better! We had a great evening/night. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic brunch, the food was delicous and was good value! Our server Martina was fantastic and we had to let the manager know. Good team, good food and fab views!
Be the first to ReplyGood food, good service, good prices.
Reserved a table for a meeting with friends. Easy to make a reservation. Good food, well presented, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. All in all a very pleasant meal.
Be the first to ReplyPoor allergy options
I attended with friends and asked for a gluten Free menu which they didn't have. The waitress pointed out a few options but as I am also dairy free it was really limited. I'm quite flexible and happy to chop and change to find something I can have as I know it can be difficult. Despite being told I could swap any bread for GF options the waitress then told me the chef wouldn't change one so I ended up with avocado on toast for quite a steep price. I was disappointed given how nice the restaurant is and good reviews I'd heard.

We are regulars at the hotel (we are members) and tended to eat at the restaurant when staying. Previously noticed that the bar and restaurant service didn't match the hotel but it was not terrible. Then we stayed for my wife's recent birthday and decided to eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately the staff right from the beginning were surly We had to flag down the waitress to order drinks and she clearly wasn't happy when we did this. We then waited 20 mins for our drinks to arrive, the table who had entered just before us where already eating starters.. we then ordered but 45 mins later the meal hadn't arrived. When I asked the waitress she just shrugged... Anyway the bottom.line is we left and hour later without paying because the service deteriorated from there on in. It's a Shame because the hotel staff are great but as a member I was appalled the restaurant. Rude staff, low customer service standards all friends excuses for poor services.. after it had taken so long to serve our meal we just wanted our desert to arrive on time but it took another 40mins to bring my 8 year old sons ice cream out

The food was sublime. The service was professional, attentive and friendly. I asked for a table with a view, we got one! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! My South African partner had the rump steak. He said it’s the best he’s ever had and he knows his steaks! Can’t wait to go again!

We stayed at the hotel and decided to have a night in at the restaurants after reading good reviews. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and modern design. We opted for the crab on toast and jerk chicken croquettes to start, followed by the cheeseburger and Guinea fowl for mains. The mains were definitely better than the starters but nothing was bad. More thought could’ve been put into the starters. We ordered some cocktails before ordering our food (with the intention of ordering wine with our mains). However, nobody came to serve us despite asking for a drinks menu whilst ordering mains. The restaurant didn’t seem particularly busy and so we were unimpressed with the service as no one came to ask us how our food was and we only had 1 drink throughout the whole meal. The service at the same restaurant during breakfast was really good so we’re hoping our experience was just a one off.
Be the first to ReplyPenalises Vegans
Lovely venue, but not sure how they justify £25 for quarter of grilled cauliflower when cheese burger costs £18 and trout £28. Given only one vegan option feels like they are taking advantage of customer's dietary preferences.

Really surprised how good the Time Out offer was (much better than one I took up a few years ago and have forgotten about). Effectively an 8 course lunch tasting menu including an alcoholic drink for two costing £68. Service and food very good. I found the ambience a little dour and the views aren’t as good as you might expect unless you are right in the window facing city bound, but they are minor quibbles
Be the first to ReplyNice lunch in London
We met a friend for lunch on a lovely day. It was very buzzy. The food options are good and varied, as are the drinks. We all enjoyed our meals and the food was very goor. It's a bit pricy and the atmosphere was a bit lacklustre, but I think that depends on where you are seated in the restaurant. I'd go again as it was a nice meal pit and the staff were attentive.
Be the first to ReplyGreat prosecco brunch!
My friends and I went and enjoyed brunch on Saturday and it was great, we had a little injury with our waiter smashing a glass and they couldn’t have done more for us! Our waiter topped up our Prosecco as soon as we were empty and the food was amazing! Thanks for such a lovely experience with amazing views! We will be back!

We had a fabulous beef Sunday brunch yesterday, great service and really appreciated the birthday surprise :-) We've been going to this hotel for nearly 10 years now and love the young vibe.
Be the first to ReplyShame, lovely location, but they think that’s enough
I’ve always been a fan of Sea Containers for drinks and food. But tonight the food was average and the service lack lustre. You don’t expect to pay over £300 for a meal where you wait for half the party to get there starters (and after asking where they are, the staff never come back to you and say!) wine popped in a cooler to be poured by staff but never actually served, waitress was very unengaged, just crap attention to be honest! Location fab but this venue seems to think it can dine out on location alone. Hugely disappointed
Be the first to ReplyNice hand wash…….
It takes more than a nice hand wash and hand cream to justify the expensive price. The starters came in fits and starts , the serving staff looks disinterested. Relying on location is all very well as long as you can attract new clientele, but that will run out. Over priced, underwhelming
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and location
Stunning location overlooking the Thames, delicious food (the seabass tacos are sublime!) and the sharing plates are excellent. We shared the pork and the beef which were equally good. Excellent quick, efficient and very friendly service. Highly recommended
