😒 3/5 - A little too touristy for my liking

We stumbled upon this place after a visit to Pace University. My wife looked this place up on Tripadvisor, so off we went to check it out. It was about a 15-minute walk to Chinatown. The place seemed to be a bit more on the modern side as far as decor. The wait staff seems to be in no hurry to wait on you or even follow back up to see if there is anything else you need or want. When our food came out it came one at a time, first my wifes, second my daughters, then my other daughter and mine came out about when they were all half way done with their meals....all I ordered was roast pork fried rice nothing difficult but it took them forever to make. Portions were okay but small for the area, in my opinion. If you go a few doors down, you can get double the portions at a fraction of the cost. This place was a bit pricey for the portions you received. $12 for roast pork fried rice. The dumplings were delicious, but like I said, you can find a much better bargin for your buck if you walk down a little further and go to one of the smaller no frills Chinese restaurants on the block. The service was okay but very, very slow. Overall, I won't be back. I will try another spot down the block from this place and see what happens. Try not to get caught up in the hype. Chinatown is a big area, so be adventurous and explore a little. Good eating, everyone.
