Shipwreck Grill Brielle Reviews
Cocktails and appetizers are great.
I enjoy sitting at the bar. The interior is cozy. This place fills up fast so make a reservation if you can or come in when they first open
Over hyped.
My ribeye steak was uneatable and overcooked. Waitress brought over the manager who apologized and offered me a free dessert. They were too busy to bother to cook another steak. Never again.

I am sorry to write this review because I've been eating here for many years, but it's over. The hospitality has never been that good here, but other restaurants, especially in Asbury Park, use technology to recognize regulars. I could even

I've been coming here for a long time and always had a great experience. The halibut was my go to but last night it was like a piece of rubber. I sent it back and it came back inedible. Luckily the crab meat cocktail and ceasar salad was good. I

Service wasn't too friendly, app was very good, but entres small and nothing special. Good vibes outside tho.
Very inconsistent, overall mediocre to poor.
This place was hit or miss. The menu is expensive. We were 4 people. The shrimp cocktail portion was ridiculously small for a hefty price. The spaghetti and clams seemed like it was made with chopped clams from a can, and that is exactly what it tast

We've been here now a couple of times, and each time was great! The people in the kitchen know what they're doing! We've had the blackened pork chop and rack of lamb among other things, and they are spectacular! They were cooked exa

Excellent service and amazing food
My husband and I had a great dining experience at Shipwreck Grill. Our reservation was on a Friday night at 5:15. When we arrived, the atmosphere was quiet. By the time we left, the bar area was bustling. Our server, Gia, was attentive and friendly.

Do not let the name deceive you.
Shipwreck is a classy establishment with fine food and cocktails. Salmon was delicious as well as the halibut. It was a bit crowded in the bar area but cocktails were professionally prepared. Great for a date night or to celebrate a birthday/life ach
Overhyped
Very difficult to even get a reservation. Super crowded took 20 minutes after res time to be seated. Food was good. Service was average at best. No one offered to refill water or drinks. Took way to long to get our food. Maybe an off night but we won
Our Anniversary at the Shipwreck Grill
We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on April 3, 2023, at Shipwreck Grill. First- the atmosphere is inviting, with dark woods, overlooking the beautiful Manasquan River. Our waiter, Adam was professional and very friendly. Based on what we told
Loud and inconsistent
Title says it all. Same dish one day is great and the next its actually missing ingredients. THE NOISE LEVEL is crazy and ruins the experience unless you sit in the bar

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Shipwreck Grill Brielle at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Shipwreck Grill Brielle page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* CoolestCough45, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* CoolestCough45 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to CoolestCough45 for any questions Peter may have as CoolestCough45 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* CoolestCough45 now uses their connections at Shipwreck Grill Brielle to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If CoolestCough45 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, CoolestCough45 receives the $200 reward which is credited to CoolestCough45's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Shipwreck Grill Brielle!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
