Happiness Manager ..Nihao you should meet him
This was my best decision to book this place, sunset beach villa was cozy with full privacy ,clean and spacious.I have to say this is my best devmcision to Siyamworld, we have been Maldives before, their all inclusive package is more than enough. Beach around the island is very clean and water the reef is very rich with lots of fishes. Many things to do ,main event all the kids including our kids was enjoyed Nihao football matches my kids didn't didn't even join sunset cruise with us because they are much into the games ,night Nihao magics are more fun. We have vegetarians but they do have enough veg food in Tempo and kurry leaf. Our Ambassador Soni is very helpful and all the islanders including bus drivers are just amazing.
Be the first to ReplyLoved every minute. A fabulous family holiday with so much to do. Great staff and amazing food.
We had the most fantastic trip to Siyam World in July. I hope this very long review is useful and objective. It reflects our experience of ten nights at Siyam World. Booking We booked through a fab independent travel company called Rock My World travel. They are amazing with first class service from Isobel, Mark and Leanne from start to finish. I’d highly recommend them. We booked in September 2021 before the resort opened and there were some fab deals. Lots of people moaning on here about snags on the island should remember that the hotel has only been open 9 months and there are likely to be snaggings and teething issues as any new build house would have. I’d also say that the prices for the majority of people up to this point have reflected that they are still in the snagging period based on prices for next year being more than we paid by some stretch (we’ve already looked into going back). Transfer We went on the seaplane which was seamless. Our flight landed at Male at 8.45 and we were at the resort checking in by 12.45. All our bags were about 20kg each so we didn’t need to pay any excess. Welcome and Ambassadors We were greeted on the welcome jetty by a drummer and squad of ambassadors. Lil was our ambassador and was so lovely. She was friendly and smiley and took us to our room where she gave us a quick update on where everything was and what to expect whilst on the island. I think it’s really important to point out that the ambassadors are not our personal butlers!!! You can do most of the things yourself like booking a restaurant on the app or looking at the spa menu. We are quite self sufficient to the point Lil often messaged us asking if we were ok as we hadn’t been in touch for a day whereas we saw and heard other people treating their ambassadors like some sort of hired help which was awkward. Lil was the perfect ambassador- there when we needed her and so kind and helpful. I actually cried when she hugged us goodbye at the seaplane jetty. The app Download the Siyam World app before you go and book anything you want to in advance. All the restaurant menus are on there too. It’s super easy. We did everything on it while we were there. Island Size We have been to Conrad Rangali and CoCo Palm Bodu Hithi previously and they were smaller, relaxed islands that were great for couples. We chose Siyam World because it was big and had lots to do for all of us (two adults and a ten year old). If you are looking for an intimate typical Maldivian experience then this probably isn’t it for you. If you are looking for loads to do and a brilliant choice of restaurants and activities then you will love this - there is a reason why they call it the world of possibilities. The island is about 5km round the edge and fab service from purple buggies that go round in circles. Wait at a bus stop of flag one when they go past. We witnessed some really rude behaviour toward the super friendly buggy drivers when people didn’t appreciate that they go in different directions. If a driver says he isn’t going your way, wait for the next one rather than give him a mouthful. We never waited more than 5 minutes for a buggy. The rooms This is our 3rd time in the Maldives and we have always preferred beach villas to water villas. There is more space indoors and out, direct access to the beach and they have sun and shade in equal measure. We also love the outdoor bathrooms as you get visits from lizards and fruit bats while you have your showers which was cool. We split our time between Sunset Beach Villa 227 (great location and so peaceful) and Beach House 706. They were both lovely in different ways. The Sunset Beach Villas benefit from super close access to the beach and outdoor bathrooms. It was very comfortable for 2 adults and a 10 year old. The beach house was very spacious and pure luxury and we really didn’t want to leave - it was a beautifully designed house on two floors. The mini bars are well stocked with beer and soft drinks and some chocolate and nuts and they fill up what needs replacing every day. There are plenty of fresh towels and the room was spotless. If you look carefully you might find a few snags that some people have moaned about (like faded paint on a bathroom door?!) but nothing worth spoiling your holiday whining about. The beds were harder than we are used to and in hindsight we might have asked for mattress toppers if we’d known they had them. We had an issue with the bathroom plumbing which was quickly fixed with no hassle and we were happy with the way it was dealt with. No point moaning about things like this on holiday when the staff are so committed to fixing things and looking after you. Please be nice to them if things go wrong - too many people had incredibly bad manners and it was really upsetting to watch at times (more of this later) The Pools and Snorkelling The reality was that we we didn’t really use our room pool much at all. We spent most of our time at Orchid or Together pools or the sea and only went to Jungali once. I went to Mint once for an hour without my daughter and loved a bit of adult only peace! There has been lots of chat on here about broken tiles and closed pools. My honest advice would be to chill about about it all. We had read in advance on here that there were some issues with broken tiles and wore pool shoes the whole time whilst they are being fixed which was no big deal at all - I don’t understand why people think this is an outrageous solution? The one time my daughter didn’t (even though we reminded her to) she got a minor cut on her toe which a plaster sorted. I’ve also read some crazy things on here about people demanding upgrades as Jungali was closed when they arrived - these things happen at a new resort and there are plenty of other pools that more than make up for one pool closure. The hotel can’t upgrade rooms for a whole island of people because one pool is shut?! The sea is so warm. The red flags were up on the sunset side quite a lot but again, it didn’t spoil anything. I’ve attached a map that Thuhu the marine biologist gave us which marks the better snorkel spots with black oval rings. I would say that the snorkelling is not as good as previous places we have visited in the Maldives because of the recent construction at Siyam World but there is still plenty of fish and marine life to see. Go to the marine biologist talk at the sports bar. It’s really interesting. The weather I got so bored of reading people on this group moaning about the weather or obsessing about what the weather would be like. Use Google or ask your travel agent before you book to figure out the key seasons! Be aware that the rainy season in this part of the world is May to October (inclusive) so if you go expecting some rain whilst you are there, you won’t be disappointed. It is not surprisingly the cheapest time to go during this season because the weather can be a little unpredictable (you pay a big premium for the Maldives November to March). Rain won’t spoil your holiday unless all you want to do is sunbathe the whole time and if that’s what you want, renting a trip to the Maldives in rainy season and go somewhere else. Because of the proximity to the equator, the sun is really intense especially when cloudy. We wore factor 50 the whole time and still burned a couple of times. Be careful especially with kids…. Mosquitoes It’s a very big and jungly tropical island and the daily fumigation didn’t have the same effect on controlling the mossies as previous islands we visited. We all took antihistamines (chlorophenamine which is a generic piritin) from a week before we arrived and all the time we were there. We were all badly bitten (on a par with a trip to Kenya) but because we took the piritin they didn’t itch - they just looked horrific. The mossie sprays we bought with us didn’t work. We asked for mossie spray from the room guys and sprayed the room well every night before bed. Don’t let the thought of mossies spoil your holiday. Food The food was amazing. We absolutely loved it and couldn’t fault anything. We preferred Barabaru at brekkie as it was quieter and smaller but still had the same selection of food. Lunchtime paella with a glass of rose and the amazing cheesecake at Andalusia and the best sushi we have ever eaten at Arigato were our highlights for sure. The grilled steak and huge prawns at Wahoo were top notch. The Thai food at Takrai and Indian Food at Kurry leaf was authentic and delicious. Jungali was good for burgers, pizza and fast food but we only went there once. We only used the Tempo buffet for lunch twice and once for dinner as we preferred a la carte but the buffet had lots of choice and everything was fresh. We booked restaurants before we arrived on the app as we wanted to try them all. We made a few changes on the app whilst we were there. If you really want to eat at a particular place book it ahead - some get really booked up (Wahoo for example was generally booked out at lunchtime a couple of days in advance). It’s a huge island with 400+ rooms and lots of people so you can’t always just rock up and expect to get in. We loved orchid bar the best and went there most of the time. It was quieter than together and we had fun chatting to the bar staff. Mint was nice too though adults only. ACTIVITIES We did the complimentary sunset Dolphin cruise and were lucky to see 3 pods of dolphins. We also did the snorkel trip which was quite good but if you are happy to hold your breath and snorkel down to the house reefs on the island it might be a waste of time for you to do the trip. We had bikes for a few days and loved cycling round the island around 5pm when it got cooler. We had spa treatments and loved them - the treatment list, prices and facilities are on a par with some of the other 5* hotels I’ve stayed at around the world. We used the hotel snorkels and flippers that were free. We enjoyed the inflatable assault course (harder than it looks!) and stand up paddle boards/canoes which we’re also free. There are many other chargeable activities which were on the pricey side so we didn’t do any but some people we spoke to who did them said they were great. The staff The staff were what made our visit so special. They were incredible. They all smile, say hello, are kind and helpful – nothing seemed too much trouble and you could tell that all of them were happy in their job. The island is pristine, clean and amazingly well kept and credit should particularly go to the unsung heroes like the room guys and those who work so hard in the heat keeping the pathways clear, potholes filled (after the rain) and the jungle trimmed. They work so hard and are happy and cheerful. This is why we were so disgusted to see regular rudeness directed toward them from some guests. Yes people have all paid a lot of money to go to Siyam World but many people clearly left their manners at home or on the plane - if you need to complain you can still be respectful and polite. I was upset seeing large families be outrageously demanding in Arigato and watching the staff handle it so professionally when they must have been hurting inside. I was disappointed to see kids clicking their fingers at staff to get drinks whilst their parents watched on thinking it was acceptable. I was angry seeing a family drop plates on the floor when their table wasn’t cleared quickly enough (yes, really!). I felt deflated every time the cheerful charming bus drivers got a mouthful of abuse because they politely explained that he wasn’t going In a particular direction and to wait for the next buggy. My ten year old daughter learned some valuable lessons about how some people behave on this holiday and how we would never tolerate it in our family. Here are some of the people who made our holiday awesome. Please look out for them. LIL – our fabulous ambassador. We were so lucky to have her. She is very perceptive and quickly realised that we are quite a self sufficient family and didn’t need a lot. She would check in every day and say ‘haven’t heard from you. If you need anything please remember I’m here to help’. We only really needed her help a couple of times and she was very responsive and couldn’t do enough for us. And even when we didn’t need anything, she’d pop by to say hi or wave to us enthusiastically from her buggy as she whizzed around. She lives and breathes Siyam World in all she does and says in such a genuine and authentic way. LUCKY – the charming singing buggy driver with his trademark sunglasses on. Hard to believe he has only been there a short time. He was so interesting to chat to and remembered a lot about things we’d told him so we always had something to talk to him about. We even found ourselves going the long way round to our room a few times so we could continue a conversation about rugby! All of the drivers were really great, but Lucky stood out as being a total pro with a great attitude and cheerful outlook. NIKHIL & NA-AM IN ANDALUCIA – our paella lunches were so special and such fun. Na-am had the most wonderful dry sense of humour and really made us laugh out loud. And Nikhil was a really thoughtful and attentive waiter. Polite, knowledgeable and so friendly – he remembered our regular order of lunchtime food and drink which became a bit of a standing joke. GOVIN IN TEMPO – Govin was the calmest and most smiley guy in a very busy restaurant. He rushed around with graceful elegance with a huge smile on his face and could not do enough for us. He really stood out amongst all the staff there. THE BARTENDERS IN ORCHID – our favourite bar which we discovered on our third day and didn’t really drink anywhere else after that. - NICK is a total legend. Hard to believe he’s been on the island a month! He was so funny and genuinely led us to believe he was from Glasgow (he’s actually Sri Lankan!). He has a great rapport with all the guests and we really enjoyed hanging out at the bar chatting to him whilst he made drinks. Our daughter loved his jokes and silly stories and his cheeky sense of humour – and all the accents he could do! He went out of his way to get Oreo’s to make a milkshake for our daughter when she said they were her favourite. - JAI.JV was also great. Super friendly and made great drinks and always remembered what we wanted even before we ordered it. We always got a really warm welcome from him - SARVESH – went above and beyond to help us located my husband’s lost phone and made us some fantastic cocktails. - PARAS – a really knowledgeable bar tender who knew so much about so many types of drinks. My husband and I worked in the spirits industry for many years and we had a great chat with Paras about Gin and Whisky. He’s a superstar in the making for sure…. RICHARD IN TAKRAI – we really enjoyed talking to Richard about how the island had been developed and what some of the future plans are. He could not speak more highly of working at Siyam World and was a brilliant ambassador for the resort CHOTU IN TAKRAI – he kept our drinks topped up with a smile and was a lovely chap PRINCE IN BARABAARU – what a helpful and smiley guy. Nothing was too much trouble. CHAI IN WAHOO – what a wonderful chap. So friendly and greeted us like long lost friends every time we saw him. NIHAO – with a title of Chief Happiness Officer he has a lot resting on his shoulders with over a thousand guests on the island! He was the ultimate professional and every time he saw us would make a point of asking how we were getting on and if we had enjoyed our holiday. PRAKASH – our room guy in room 706. He’s a treasure. Our house was immaculate and he made so much effort from the bed art, the little notes and getting us mosquito spray when he could see how bitten we’d been. Quiet but perceptive and he was another great example of someone who never stopped smiling. JUDY In the spa was the perfect welcoming host. She had a big beaming smile and a lovely manner. I really enjoyed chatting with her. And HENI (who I believe is also quite new) did the most fantastic massage which really helped get some bad knots out of my stiff back. I felt ten feet tall afterwards. The spa was absolutely beautiful and worth a visit to treat yourself And last but not least. Our wonderful friends at ARIGATO. By the end of the holiday, they felt like family! - HERMES JR. GARCIA is a very talented chef and a really lovely guy. For lunch and dinner, he chose us some of his favourite dishes which was a lovely surprise. The food was some of the best we’ve ever eaten - RENU who was our favourite waitress of the whole trip. She had a wonderful air of calm and kindness about her. She is intelligent, knowledgeable and provides a service that went above and beyond. Perceptive, pre-emptive and so thoughtful – on a number of occasions she decorated the table with lovely messages. She was so kind to our daughter too. - AHMED, RAHUL AND SUDHA were the perfect guys to work alongside Renu. They made a brilliant team. Their smiles and enthusiasm were infectious and we loved seeing them for breakfast at Arigato during our time in the Beach House Collection IN SUMMARY You can always judge a holiday by whether you’d go back not by whether it is 5* or 4* or whether drinks were slow to be served or spa treatments were expensive. And we would return in a heartbeat. For the first time in my life (and I’ve travelled extensively) I had tears in my eyes as we left the island. It may have had a few small teething troubles having been open less than 9 months but nothing that would spoil our holiday. The staff and food were particularly brilliant. Don’t read and internalise all the negative reviews. Perfection is hard to find even on an expensive holiday so be kind if there are a few hiccups as the island is still very new
Be the first to ReplyBest birthday and honeymoon ever!!!!
From the moment we landed in Male, the Siyam world staff at the airport were amazing, they took care of our bags and checked them in for us ready to go on to the sea plane, the lounge was amazing where we were given access to lots of amenities and even a free massage. The minute we landed in Siyam, we were greeted with beautiful drums and given hot towels and garlands and the welcome was just amazing. Just how you see it on movies. At this instance we were appointed to Jerry who checked us in to our room, gave us all the information we needed for our stay there and even gave us his WhatsApp number and said we could reach out to him if there were any problems. While we waited for our room, we went to grab some lunch, throughout our whole time there this was the only “negative” thing I could say, our food took almost 1 hour to come out. But Jerry and his colleague Dee were very apologetic and in the end gave us the floating breakfast which was for my wife’s birthday, as complimentary. Dee had also come to see us for dinner a few days later to apologise in person about what had happened. The service and hospitality at Siyam was out of the world. All the staff working there were very polite and friendly. We stayed in an over water villa on Rialto bridge, and I wouldn’t ask for anything more. It was just beautiful to wake up to the view every single day. The food choices were amazing and there was lots of choice every day including all the different restaurants to chose from. I have already recommended this hotel to lots of people and would definitely recommend it anyone who is thinking of going for a holiday, birthday, honeymoon.

Everthing was perfect. We were in the Water villa on Tower Bridge. The view from the room is fantastic. The kindness of the people, the services, the food are all great. We highly recommend it to those who want a bigger island
Be the first to ReplyGreat island - Great vacation
Hi all. I want to write only good things about this island!!! All disadvantages that I probably could find are so insignificant that it’s not even worth talking about them. We were on the island with a family (two adults and two children) from 6th to 17th March 2023. It is a good season and the weather was nice and calm. The sea was a little rippled, but snorkeling or feeding fish from the villa is not a problem. We lived in a two-room water villa No. 451, far from the coast, but walking did not cause any problems. In addition, electric buses ran back and forth on the island, and somewhere in the middle of the vacation we rented bicycles. Bicycles are really what you need in order to get to know the whole island and visit all the restaurants and beaches. There is a slide to the sea in the villa, the children could not get enough of it and rode every day, also my wife and myself used to jump to the sea from there in the morning)). The restaurants of the island are a separate story))). Thai, Indian, Maldivian and Spanish dishes, all in different restaurants. My wife and I ate Tenderloin and Sirloin steaks almost every other day, very tasty and properly cooked every time. My wife tried langouste - fantastic. Everything and everywhere - from tasty to very tasty. You just need to book a restaurant in advance and I advise you to book them all for the whole vacation in advance. There is also a restaurant "Tempo", a buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The children loved Tempo very much, as you can go to collect whatever you want. Sweets, ice cream and any fruit. The island staff are great. They try to please all the time. A personal ambassador is assigned to you and you will have a WhatsApp connection with him all day. I remember I couldn’t book a restaurant a couple of times due to lack of places, so Soni (our ambassador) arranged everything, well done, always helpful. Guys from the diving center are very responsive and friendly, happy to help. I remember that they came to the Jungali pool and gave diving lessons for free, right in the pool. We tried Cuba Jet with them on the reef while snorkeling. Great experience! We had a great rest on the Water Park in the form of the inscription “Siyam” with the children. They jumped and ran, was falling to the water, it was a good time)). Nihao!!! Hey man!!! Thank you for your work and your great effort. Nihao is Chief Happiness Officer. My son and daughter have hot a medal for playing football with football team. Nihao was playing with them (see picture). See you Nihao!!! I would like to say that 12 days is not enough to try everything and therefore we would like to return more than once. Actually we want to come back to try all again)). Have a good holiday everyone!!!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing place just a shame about the food and service
We visited the island for 7 days on February We had planned and saved for this holiday for 3 years. We started off in Dubai for 3 days at the Hilton which was amazing. My partner proposed on Valentine’s Day in front of the Dubai fountains perfect and totally unexpected The day after we travelled to siyam world. The part of our holiday we were most looking forward to On arrival it was perfect. Everything we had dreamed of. We were welcomed by our host and a glass of champagne. He organised our room and drove us and our luggage over there …. Perfecf The room was a water villa on the tower bridge and was beautiful. So 10/10 Unfortunately the food let it down We went to tempo the first night the food was ok but lukewarm. We immediately booked our ala carte restaurants as they were mostly booked up already. But managed to wangle it so we would experience them all. Barrabaru breakfast had a lovely selection but again apart from the fresh stations the food was lukewarm. Only Kept warm by candles underneath the metal containers. Also Order your drinks straight away as they take ages to come We had our evening meal in tempo as they were doing a Mexican evening which we all fancied. The food was nice but again lukewarm. Again the drinks took ages to come That night I woke up at 1am with severe d and v coupled with stomach cramps a temperature and aching body. This carried on for the rest of the holiday The next day my partner also started with it I visited the on-site dr who said we both had food poisoning and gave us antibiotics etc A couple of days later we made it to one of our booked alacarte restaurants. It was the Spanish one. The food was awful. And half way through a man approached our table. He introduced himself as Wayne the public relations manager. He asked how we both were and then informed us that he had told the dr he had got our diagnosis wrong and we had an intolerance to the food not food poisoning. Which he repeated a few times. Saying he did not like the words food poisoning. Eventually he left. We managed to attend the Thai the next night again hardly able to eat anything and again met by Wayne to confirm we understood we hadn’t got food poisoning. The dr wrote us both a letter saying we had travellers diarrhoea. Even though we hadn’t. The drinks service in all the restaurants was very slow We tipped US dollars but when we went to pay at the end found that mint bar had added a €22 tip which we hadn’t authorised. We questioned this and the guy who was doing our bill was very rude and didn’t even apologise he reacted as if it was our fault. So make sure if like us you are tipping as you go that you write N/A on the tip section of the bill. There were lots of stories of this happening while we were there The classes and trips were all booked up. One of our party booked the deep sea fishing. But was told the night before that it was cancelled due to only one person booking it and they needed 2. So he then tried to book his wife on so he could still go. But it was fully booked. They had cancelled his booking so a party of 4 who booked later could go. So in short not quite the holiday we had hoped for. We spent most of it ill. The place itself is beautiful but the staff and the food seriously let it down. We won’t be returning and will search for another island next time we go Would not recommend It is a luxurious once in a lifetime holiday but tbh I’ve had much better service in turkey
Be the first to ReplyBest Vacation - Breathtaking Resort with Excellent Staff
My amazing experience with Siyam World began even before I set foot on the island. Since I booked my tickets through a travel agency, I wanted to know everything was in order (since it was my honeymoon) and had other queries related to my package and inclusions. Over a series of 13 emails, Dwik and Zamha helped clarify and confirm my reservations which put my mind at ease. On the arrival day hotel staff, picked us at the airport and took us to the lounge where we relaxed before our flights. Even when the weight of our luggage were over by a KG or two, hotel staff made sure that the airlines didn't charge us extra. Since there was so many delays with the flight, we reached the resort late at 9:30 PM but still got a traditional Maldivian welcome at that time. Farida, our ambassador for the stay made sure we got our dinner first and checked us into our room without bothering us with check-in procedures. The next day she explained us all about the island, the package inclusions and was available 24x7 via WhatsApp for any queries we had. There are two important things to know about this resort. First is the design and the second is the service. Since its a relatively new resort (1+ year old) it was built taking into user experience in mind. The resort was ofcourse beautiful, luxurious and ecofriendly. But it was the little things that amazed me. Live tracking and display of intra island transportation (buggies), stairs into the sea at different spots for personal snorkeling explorations, umbrellas everywhere (I used it more for sun than the rain), sustainable yet long lasting straws, good minibar selections, flags at different places (including near our villas) to inform guests about the strength of sea currents, lifeguard on patrol (even after hours), buoys set in a way to give privacy to guests (both transportation as well as water sports doesn't interfere with our special time). Now coming to the important thing - the staff and their service. This was the best staff experience I have encountered anywhere ever. All the staffs knew about the entire island and answered any questions that we had. A few of the staff who made our stay memorable were: Inaz - who gave different types of teas to help with my throat issues; Meimei - who conducted a Marine biology workshop underwater; Chief happiness officer Nihao - who almost did a personal photoshoot for us; Mani - who gave us a tour of the island in the buggy; Rexy - who helped us feel safe during rough seas while on the speedboat at night; Anish - who accommodated our unique food requests; Armstrong - who explained the history of the island; Chai - who gave us an amazing seat we requested in Wahoo Grill; Sinduja and Sandhya - who helped us enjoy our dinner despite having a timing issue with the reservation; Vijith and Vignesh - who served us with Tempo at Tempo (buffet restaurant); Richard - who advised on different couple excursions. There are the names I remember and I'm sure I have left out a lot of people including chefs, housekeeping, garden staffs and water staffs. Just a BIG thank you from me for making it the perfect vacation. Choosing Siyam World for my honeymoon was the best decision as you guys have helped create unforgettable memories in our life. Cannot wait to return. Thanks again and good luck team!

What an amazing island this is.. We traveled as 2 families (9 people) with an age range from 15 to 50. Each and everyone of us did not want to leave this beautiful island, it had something for everyone. If you want a chilled relaxed vibe then head to mint for sunset cocktails or one of the many a la carte restaurants Something more lively then, water world, Together & Jungali always had something going on.. the hubby got to watch his football too in the sports bar. I cannot say enough about the staff, everyone was so welcoming & the service everywhere was brilliant. Special thanks to our ambassador Mocy who kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed & Rewaj who cleaned our room twice a day making sure we had enough linen etc & mini bar was always fully stocked. We stayed in a lagoon villa. It was a beautiful room with plenty of space for 2 people & direct access to the lagoon with a plunge pool & slide. Perfect for stunning views & lazy days! Finally the food & drink… everything was amazing…! I’d find it hard to pick a favourite restaurant but my waistline now tells you just how good it all was. The buffet restaurant has to be one of the best out of anywhere I’ve been.. plenty of choice.. even for picky eaters & all tasted amazing! The staff made sure you had everything you need. If you’re a cocktail lover then you can’t beat this place. Each bar/restaurant has a slightly different menu but the choice is unreal.. best place for me was Mint.. but everywhere else was great too. I’m generally not a lover of hotel evening entertainment it’s just not my thing so my only negative would be that it was a bit repetitive for me. Finally nothing to do with the quality or service on the island but make sure you take & use insect repellent & wear it day & night., whenever I forgot I got lots of bites Siyam World thanks for making our stay unforgettable.. I’ll definitely be back there soon xx

It was a fantastic experience for our honeymoon in Maldives at Siyam World. I want to highlight the kindness and dedication of our housekeeper, Hardha Sandeep. The good surprises we received when arrived to the room made our experience even more comfortable and happy.

It was a pleasure to stay here. The facilities, the staff, the attention of our friend Sidd and the food are a real luxury. You will enjoy every second here because even the smallest detail is designed for your enjoyment. We will definitely be back.

We all will remember the visit... It is a place of Sun, sea, sand and sound... A must visit place for sea lovers... Staff are very helpful and always ready to provide much needed support... The seavillas where we stayed for 5 days are awesome! An experience to be recalled again again.

Our stay at Siyam world was amazing! From the moment we landed at Male Airport to be being transferred via sea plane to the island. The greeting was special and the staff were absolutely brilliant the whole time. They really went out of there way to look after us and our 2 year old. Our designated butler Murray was supportive and really helped us settle in and was always at hand with any needs. We stayed at a water villa which was lovely with a water slide into the lagoon. The options for breakfast, lunch and dinner was great. I'd like to thank Inash at Jungali, Mohammed at Takrai and Ashvin the cleaner who were outstanding 👏. Overall an outstanding experience. Thank you.
Be the first to ReplyGreat resort for large party with varied needs
My party of 9 pax stayed at the resort for 6 days.
The resort provided a good mix of seclusion for the adults and fun filled activities for the 4 teenager/kids
We enjoyed the layout of the 3 bedroom villa, which provides plenty of space for the 9 of us, and we could retreat to our individual villas for needed privacy and congregate at the common deck with pool.
Food was varied and particularly enjoyed our meals at Kurry Leaf, Adalusia and Wahoo grill. The concept of the wow package providing access to the 4 speciality restaurants is a winner as it kept our experiences varied.
There were plenty of activities to keep us all entertained and we tried fishing, dolphin cruise, parasailing, jet ski, canoes and the water park. We were also fortunate to spot reef sharks, rays, and other marine leaf snorkelling
The staff are the resort’s greatest asset. Always polite, always going the extra mile for guest. Our ambassador Elsa was always available on WhatsApp and helped with our activity and meal bookings and made our experience so much more enjoyable.
2 suggestions to make the resort even better
1) provide step access at the end of the bridges on the lagoon side so more guest an enjoy the marine life. The marine life is better at the end, and if one gets a villa closer to shore, it entails a 300m swim to the end of bridge.
2) by default offer to cook the fish caught during fishing trips for free the next day. There was some confusion if we needed to pay extra which Elsa was able to sort out but it would be better if it was the default policy
All in all, super enjoyable trip. Well done Siyam World!
Maldives Vacation
I would definitely encourage anyone visiting Maldives to visit Siyam world. We were on the WOW package. Food , drinks and service was outstanding.
Impressive selection of alcoholic brands available including Johnny Walker Black Label, Drambuie, Champagnes etc.
We visited a different restaurant every night with a superb fine dining experience. I honestly couldn't fault my holiday even if I tried. 10/10.
I recommend
This resort was wonderful. It is larger than most of the other islands in the Maldives and offers many activities and restaurants. Dolphin cruises, snorkeling, diving, etc.... All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend the all inclusive. The view from the villa is amazing. It was paradise to enjoy both the jungle and the ocean. I would like to go back because the staff is really great.from Japan.
Be the first to ReplyStunning location
I've recently returned from a 9 night stay at Siyam World travelling as a family of 3 - 2 adults and one 13 year old. We stayed ina Lagoon Villa with slide. Our housekeeper was fabulous and so friendly.
Firstly, the island is beautiful and for me, each villa having its own pool (and a slide for those on the bridges) makes it seem like you have your own little piece of paradise.
Activities:
The floating waterpark was lots of fun for adults and kids alike (water shoes recommended). It's a shame that there's not more loungers on this beach. We made good use of the paddle boards and kayaks during our stay and spent quite a bit of time snorkelling. We opted for the snorkelling safari excursion over the Dolphin Cruise as our included trip, it was well organised, unfortunately we didn't see much.
Ambassador:
Our room ambassador, Charls, was very helpful and we were always able to contact him via WhatsApp in the event of any issues, he also arranged a late and stressless check-out for us.
Bars/Pools:
There's a lovely selection of pools available to choose from on the island, our favourite by far was Orchid which was always peaceful with lovely staff, it was also lovely having the choice of pool or beach. I believe that Mint is a mirror of Orchid on the opposite end of the island and is also beautiful but we didn't use it as it's adults only. The pool at Together is lovely and also has the added bonus of being on the beach but it is much bigger and doesn't feel as exclusive as Orchid, the service isn't as good either. The service at Jungali was good if you're sat eating but don't expect anything if you're lay around the pool, ultimately we gave up and went to the swim-up bar.
We visited the sports bar on a couple of occasions, once to watch the F1 and another time when it was a bit rainy so my son could play pool etc. The service was shocking both times so steer clear of you're just fancying a change of scenery.
Restaurants:
Our favourite restaurant was Wahoo Grill where we ate three times for dinner and once for lunch. The food, service and friendliness of the time was always consistently good, special thanks to Amin for his lovely service and conversations on our last evening.
We ate in Kurry Leaf for dinner three times, the first time it was very good and the majority of the team were very helpful. On our second visit, Sabina was our hostess who was just lovely and very fun, she certainly made our evening lots of fun. We should have left it at two visits as our third experience was the polar opposite, cold food and unfortunately we had a very rude and rushed gentleman as a host. I can't remember his name but he did insist on us completing the feedback form.
Kurry Leafis a very good restaurant but I found the choice limited due to the curries being restricted to either fish/veg/lamb/chicken and feel a better option would be to have all the curry sauces available but with any meat or veg option.
We ate in Takrai twice and enjoyed it's location as well as the food.
We ate in Andalucía once for dinner and once for lunch. Dinner service was extremely slow and we had had to chase up our drinks often (food was served before drinks). Some of the food was raw and needed sending back. Wrong dessert was served but was rectified after pointing this out. We found service better at lunchtime but was again served the wrong dishes.
All in all, we had a great time, is the resort 5*? No but it easily could be. For a new resort, it is already looking a bit tired, there were tiles coming off in our pool and also in Jungali. There were times when the mini bar wasn't refilled and we had to chase it up with Charls. It would be interesting to know what the service staff to guest ratio is as service lacks in some areas and restaurants. One major bugbear was getting a bill in every restaurant...why? It's an all inclusive island, totally unnecessary and something that I have never experienced at other all inclusive resorts around the world.
Top Quality all the way
From the moment we arrived at Male airport to leaving Male airport Siyam World could not of made our stay any more perfect.
Very easy to locate the team coming out of the airport and this is when they will take your bags and get them located to an area when they will be then transported to the Sea plane. A very organised service and then greeted at the Hotel with your Hotel Ambassador who then will take you to the pool area to check you in and advice you on Siyam World and everything you need to know.
Your Ambassador will take you to your room and anything you need all holiday to text them and they will arrange.
Also they have a QR code you can scan and book things yourself if needed for your hole stay at Siyam World of what you have included in your holiday.
We stayed in a lagoon Villa with a private pool and slide and this is what a lot of people stay in.
They are amazingly large and very comfortable and private with a good mini bar stocked up daily. Twice daily support from your Cleaner and they will offer you extra towels, bed pulled back, water, tea-coffee and anything you need.
All the pools are well kept and not noisy and beaches sit at the end, Waiter staff for all your drinks during the day and very helpful and pleasant.
Clean pool towels at the pools, help yourself to more if needed.
The restaurant’s are lovely and a lot of then including lunch are waiter service and it’s like going to a Top quality restaurant for food everyday. Great variety and quality food which is very tasty. Very little items you need to pay for - most items are on the Wow All Inclusive.
Quality named drinks only used, no non branded drinks, everything is quality.
You can walk around the island or use the many little like golf buggy which are driven by the staff and will take you anywhere you want to go with little wait.
The staff are always there to do anything and make your holiday the best it can be and treat everyone the same.
Loads of things to do on the island, loads of water sports, you will not get bored, it all went too fast for us.
I would say book 9 nights if you can as 7 is not enough, you will feel so relaxed and feel very special.
This is a very special place to visit and the staff will spoil you all the way. You will love this place.
We had spoken to lots of lovely people and nobody could complain about a thing.
A Star service.
Thank you to all the staff for your hard work.
Luxury at its best
It was overall a great 3N 4D stay at Siyam World. Starting from Mr. Abhas Jaitely for confirming our reservation and ensuring our honeymoon freebie were in place. Mr. Orkhan was very polite and always there to help whenever needed. Pawan from Jungali Bar and Vikas from Together bar were really amazing with the cocktails (Had one of bests in my life).
There were alot of special moments we had during our stay.
There were few instances of discomforts too :
- Service pace at Takrai was very very slow, no one bothered to assign the table and take orders, finally after a long wait Mr. Mohammad helped us.
- Seaplane departure was delayed by 1 hour
Overall the experience was mind-blowing, breathtaking view from ocean villa can't be forgotten.
Thanks Siyam World Team
