Steakhouse Dunboyne Reviews from The Last Year
Couples meal
We visited this Steakhouse yesterday while staying in Dunboyne for the weekend. We were out walking in the village in the afternoon and spotted this restaurant, liked the look of it, so booked it for later that evening. We certainly were not disappointed. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were really impressed. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. There was a lovely atmosphere and all staff were professional , courteous and attentive without being intrusive. The menu was varied with something for everyone. My husband had the lamb shank and I had the Chicken burger. There was not a scrap of food left on my husband’s plate, he said the lamb just fell off the bone and was beautiful. A side order of fries came with the lamb but this wasn’t touched. My chicken burger was lovely, moist and very tasty. On reflection I should have asked for no bun or dressing with the chicken but that is purely a personal choice. My husband and 1 beer with the meal and I stuck with tap water. We just had a main course each. The total cost was €43, incredible value for the standard of the food and service. I would certainly recommend this lovely little restaurant 100%. Treat yourself.
Sensational
Where to begin. Honestly, without a doubt, the nicest food and experience I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. From starters to dessert, everything was phenomenal. Fantastic chicken wings, out of this world steak, and a gorgeous brownie to finish off, complimented by a fabulous house white wine. I can safely say, I will be back to this fine establishment in future. Hats off to the chef
We will definitely return to this restaurant for our next family celebration!
We booked our work end of year meal at this lovely restaurant in Dunboyne. We had a fabulous evening, the service was excellent and the food was beautiful ! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Hidden Gem
We'd spotted this restaurant a few times while going through Dunboyne and kept saying we must eat there, I eventually booked a table for my husband and in-laws. I don't know why this lovely restaurant hasn't had more reviews, it's a gorgeously decorated, cosy place and the staff were so friendly. Myself and my husband had Bruschetta to start, the portions were huge so we definitely could have shared! My Mother and Father-in-law had the Garlic mushrooms and daily special of Tempure Prawns, every dish was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Seabass, which was the catch of the day, and again this came generously plated with the sides of mash and veg I'd asked for, and was kindly told there wouldn't be a charge. My husband and FIL had the steak fillet and ribeye. They said both were delicious, if a tiny bit more overdone than they'd asked for. My MIL had the cajun chicken burger and also raved about it. The fries were delicious and again the portions were large! For dessert I had the brownie, which was incredible. A really nicely sized portion, sometimes brownies can be too overwhelming but this was perfect and served with a gorgeous ice-cream with tasty sauces and whipped cream. Absolutely mouth-watering! My husband had the Apple Pie which he loved, again served with ice-cream and whipped cream. We'll absolutely be returning here, I really want to try the pizza, and I'd love to see this gorgeous little restaurant get more recognition!

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
