Who gave this a Michelin Star?
I have no idea who gave this place a Michelin star. The food was bland at best. I’m shocked that we paid 166.00 usd for what we received. Absolutely no flavor and very one note tastings. Please don’t waste your money on this experience. This was our last meal in Osaka before we traveled home and boy was it a let down!
Worst omakase experience ever!! Food and Chef very bland!! So disappointing!!!
Such a disappointment!!! This was the last meal of our trip. After touring all throughout Japan for 3 weeks with so many delicious meals, we thought we would end it on a high note at a 1 star Michelin restaurant…..boy what a let down. Nothing special or exciting about the food…. Very bland and was lacking any kind of seasoning. The chef and staff were just as flat as the food. This will be a memorable meal but not in a positive way…. Have to say one of the worst omakase sushi experiences ever!!!
Don’waste time and money
Don’t waste your time and money. Terrible, dirty place with rude chef who doesn’t explain anything what he serves. If you ask what kind of fish it is, abswer is - it doesn’t matter. At the beginning we thought it’s a joke… no it’s not a joke. Read all reviews in google also - all bad ones are tru ones. Please just don’ go and better eat at market or any place just on street, as this place is no worth 22000 yen per person at all!!!
Regrettable Experience
It's unfortunate that I had a terrible experience involving this restaurant recently as we were looking towards our last meal here in the city. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we were late by an hour in a fully paid dinner reservation. Upon turning up, we were rudely chased away by the restaurant owner cum chef. Acknowledging the matter, we even tried to negotiate for the meal to be packed as a take-away so that the restaurant can attend to the 2nd session which starts in another hour's time. The restaurant operator refused and ask that we reach out to the 3rd party service provider which offered the earlier reservation. Upon contact, the restaurant refuse to reschedule us or even offer a partial refund arguing that it often receive high reservation requests and therefore will not negotiate with any guests. I would have let the matter rest if this reservation was not funded in full. The fact of the matter is that we have been fully robbed of our paid dinner experience and not a single apology was even offered by the restaurant. This is an example of bad customer service especially from a Michelin-starred restaurant. I have never encountered similar problems with other established restaurants. I urge visitors (especially foreigners) to be punctual should you choose to visit the restaurant as you may be in a similar position even if you are any late than the appointed time as there were no clear guidance provided.
Private and intimate Omakase experience in Osaka - excellent.
Very private and intimate omakase experience. We rate this very highly. We sat at the bar and there were only 6 seats - 2 other Japanese couples so good to know this is a place locals also frequent. The chef is a very friendly and humble man who clearly cares about his customers enjoying the meal. Also had lots of interesting conversations with him. Quality of food was top notch. There was a lot of stand out items, like the uni dish. The chef also had some original touches to his work, but nothing that was so left field and the experience felt very traditional. We came away very satisfied and would come again.
High quality dining experience
This is the right place to go for traditional and high quality sushi/ sashimi. The ingredients are fresh and the seasoning is so spot on. Besides, the chef is very friendly and approachable, offering quite a personal dining experience throughout. This restaurant is very private where they only have 8 seats. Make sure you have a reservation and be on time for the meal. It is not the most fancy Michelin star restaurant, but if you care more about the taste of the food, this place will impress you and is absolutely value for money.
Disappointing for a 1 star Michelin sushi place
We were quite disappointed…. Not the quality of 1 star restaurant. Good sushis and sashimis but nothing exceptional. The chef was very nice and friendly, excellent saké and we had a nice towel as a gift when leaving.
Only 7 seats... Book ahead.
Wonderful master crafting his food with care, dedication and love. His level of English was a pleasant suprise that added a level of understanding and allowed us to appreciate even more. The restaurant was a tad hard to find as the front doesn't say the name (in English ). The chef owner is pleasant, welcoming and deserves his Michelin star. Let's not forget his waitress , waiting in the shadows to make sure you are attended never left with an empty glass. Highly recommended.

1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FamousStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Sushi-roku Osaka to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Sushi-roku Osaka!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
