The French Market Creperie Downtown Knoxville Reviews from The Last Year
Food 5/5 - This cute spot has delicious crepes and coffee.
My favorite out of the two were the Strawberry and Cream crepe. They have a great selection of savory/sweet. Service / Ambiance 4/5 - A cute cafe experience, you order at the counter and they deliver your food to you. You bust your own table and get your own beverage. Overall, a great spot for a sweet treat.
Delicious crepes!!!
Fabulous crepe place! Savory and Sweet. Large servings with beignets as a side. Good coffee options. They have mimosas. You wait in line to order and then they bring you your food to a table. Will definitely be back!
Delicious meal from an amazingly diverse menu.
Highly recommend! Enjoyed my Lander French 75!
Place has an amazing presentation.
The interior designer of the place did an awesome job. The place makes some great breakfast/brunch plates. We had sausage egg and spinach omelette, with a turkey samich, turkey baguette! OMG! Amazing!! We ate alot and we did not feel obnoxiously stuffed.
Delicious crepes in downtown Knoxville
My wife and I had dinner here on March 7th. It was a warm evening so we sat at one of the sidewalk tables outside to watch the people pass by. The food was excellent as always. We each had a savory crepe and split a sweet crepe for dessert.

Missy highly recommended this, one of her favorite spots in Knoxville. Now we know why. Service is at the register after standing in line. But our food was delivered, so we gave a 15% tip. The chicken salad croissant was delicious, as was the crème bruler caramel latte with whipped cream. We sat at the table in the window, to people watch, inside & out.
The French Market has a really tasty breakfast/brunch and
The French Market has a really tasty breakfast/brunch and plenty of fresh coffee. We were staying at the Marriott which is just a few blocks away and I mistakenly thought our room included breakfast. This restaurant was the solution. The prices are very reasonable; portions served are generous gourmet food. You queue up and order at the counter and then find a table. Although it looks small there are also tables up stairs. You sit at cafe style tables and then the food is brought to your table. If you choose coffee, you get a cup for self-serve. The crepes are not small. They have a lot of choices or you can pick your ingredients. They also have eggs and other options. We ate here a few times and I got a crepe each time because they are light but filling. It lasted me until an early dinner. This is a popular restaurant and the earlier the better. Mid morning during a festival the line is out the door. This is a solid choice for a decent priced meal and you can be in and out pretty quick.
Typically love this place but completely disappointed in
Typically love this place but completely disappointed in breakfast today. $32 for breakfast. I ordered an omelette and it honestly was the smallest thing I have done ever seen. Thrown on the plate with nothing else. So unappetizing. Crepe was fine. They charged me $1 for butter with toast when I said I didn't want butter. Staff indifferent. The server even said she watched the omelet being made and seemed surprised at the product delivered. Won't be back.
Be prepared to wait in line.
But once you order, food comes pretty quickly. We tried sweet and savory crepes, baguette sandwich, French onion soup, and a London fog tea. Everything we got was yummy. The Bavarian cream crepe was good but not my favorite that I have ever gotten here. It was a bit overstuffed. I definitely recommend adding the fresh strawberries. The London fog tea was my favorite. Earl grey tea with just the right amount of sweetness and vanilla. Daughter enjoyed her "complete" crepe. The pomme frites were delicious! The French onion soup had a nice cheese pull on top! Overall recommend and will visit this place every time in downtown Knox!
It's a small place just like you'd expect for a French
It's a small place just like you'd expect for a French eatery. 4 in our party and we all had something different. But everything was delicious! You order and then find a place to sit and then a server brings your food to your table when ready. Everyone was cordial. We were headed home but I would totally drive 2 hours back there to eat
We absolutely loved visiting this restaurant.
The atmosphere is so cute and inviting. We had ordered a large amount of food, and every single thing brought to us was exceptional. My favorite thing was the cookie butter crepe, and my husbands was their French onion soup. While there is a wait in a line to order your food, the staff are incredible and very knowledgeable so the wait was actually not bad at all. I absolutely cannot wait to get back in there!
Amazing crepes! Be prepared for a long line if you show up
Amazing crepes! Be prepared for a long line if you show up on the weekends but it's worth it!
lovely place to stop for a nice lunch or brunch.
my vegetarian crepe was super filling and the beignets were so good. very cute vibe inside and people were friendly
Okay food.
Decent food. Not exceptional but decent. Stoped by based on reviews. Maybe we caught it at bad day but good was okay but. Nothing special. Have had much better French crepes. Hot Brie sandwich was not good.
Delightfully romantic!
You might think crepes are for breakfast or brunch… we had a wonderful dinner before a show at the Tennessee Theater. The Monte Carlo and the Parisian were flavorful and made to perfection- even as gluten free! We topped it off with a banana, cinnamon and caramel for dessert. The atmosphere is quaintly French- all in all, we had a delightfully romantic dinner. We’ll be back next time we visit Knoxville!
Whether you are craving sweet or savory - French Market delivers
We were walking as the Saturday market was starting an a vendor recommended this place for breakfast. We left the market to get breakfast. We enjoyed the savory Turkey, bacon, avocado and cheese crepe and a ham and swiss cheese omelets and beignets.
Consistency would be great
Been here several times. The crepes are very good but the quality and size is inconsistent The last three times the eggs on top were all over cooked and an omelet was so under cooked didn’t eat it. The lines are extremely long. Most folks wait because it’s the only crepe place in town. I didn’t realize they charge for the take out container and also for a small splash of non dairy milk. The prices are already a tad on the high side one would assume those items would be factored in.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
