Antoinette was so sweet and pleasant.
She kept on checking in. Food was delicious. The corn chowder was amazing and I wanted to eat 3 or 4 bowls but I ordered the fried chicken. I love the vibe here. I like the eclectic decor and the fresh roses. They have 3 or 4 seating areas and they all looked or felt so fun and "light".

The service is good, the ambiance is cute and my grandmother loves the decor. The food is mediocre for the price. You will definitely spot a celebrity from the golden age of Hollywood.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambiance and food, I really enjoyed it.
I saw the negative reviews and wondered if this people actually ate there?
Be the first to ReplyWent there for lunch with 2 friends on a Wednesday.
Ambiance and service were nice. We ordered tagliatelle with mushrooms, french fries and a salad. It was a total disappointment. The tagliatelle were super heavy and buttery, the french fries straight from the freezer fried in bad oil and the salad nothing special. The dessert was super sweet, we almost didn't touch it. This place is overrated and disappointing. Won't revisit.

It was a rainy night so we asked to sit inside. They sat us near the fireplace, which was a perfect night for it. I've been there many times over the years and the experience is always great. The decor is lovely and charming. The colored roses are just gorgeous. The service is attentive. The drinks are amazing (and expensive) - the gimlet is memorable. The portions are generous (although again, expensive). The food, however, is only so-so. I don't really think you come here for the food (although when I come for lunch, I get the chopped vegetable salad which is incomparable). We split a soft shell crab appetizer. We each got about one bite. For my main, the waiter suggested the mussels from the daily special menu - they were overcooked and the sauce was too thick. My friend got the branzino and shrimp which he liked better. For dessert we split a pecan bar with ice cream. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Dined at The Ivy, an alleged legacy restaurant in Los Angeles and somewhat of a "splurge". Service was mediocre at best, menu is old & tired, like a 1970's version of The Cheesecake Factory, and the pricing is extremely on the high side with the food, drinks and service not matching up to the price or reputation I thought they had. Would not dine here again.

Alan is amazing! He has the best recommendations! It was my first time there and I can say I'll definitely be back again! Everything was over the top so delicious and amazing and large portions, even the sangria was a big cup! The ambiance is to die for, I love all the greenery and beautiful flowers/trees. The customer service here is extraordinary 10/10!!!! This restaurant is amazing, we came in with a dish in mind and it's no longer on the menu but they accommodated us and still prepared it! I can't wait to come back and try more delicious food! Please see my photos for the food :)

Too expensive! The food was not a wow! But the drinks and desserts were really good. The place is too small and tables are very close to each other which I don't like but the design of place and plates are cute. The restroom was very clean!

I must admit when my friends said we were going here for brunch during our Girls' Weekend, I had my doubts. I thought it may be a place more to be seen rather than to eat. Boy, was I (pleasantly) wrong! This place is SO cute! I love all the vintage decor. Imagine country chic , mixed with shabby chic and a good dash of Ralph Lauren. There were 4 main dining areas that I could see and each had a distinct personality, but all were tied together by lovely fresh mixed roses and charm. This place would be so cute whether you're on a date or with a group. And the food was great too! They started us with complementary warm biscuits/scones with currants. This was served with butter and fruit preserves on the side. Delicious! From there, we shared the Black Truffle pizza. The truffle was shaved table side and the pizza was hot and crisp. Delicious start! I had the California sea bass daily special and chose a white wine, butter, caper sauce with it. On the side, I opted for French fries, but they offered other selections like mashed potatoes as well. This dish was perfectly cooked. I ate every bite. To drink I had the tropical sangria which was refreshing and filled with different fruit such as pomegranate, pear, dragon fruit and a blackberry. It was gorgeous from every angle, From the host to the server to the bus boys, Service was kind and attentive. We absolutely loved our experience here and I personally can't wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite place in LA.
Yes it's pricey and food is okay but ambiance and drinks are amazing. They always have these beautiful flowers and pottery. I come here for birthdays or Valentine's Day. For b day person they give complementary cake with nice candle light (last couple years though they give browny instead of b day cake) it's a nice date spot and I prefer brunch time over dinner time.

The place is beautiful inside, expect always to see it very busy, and everything else will vary accordingly. At a time we came in and we had underperforming service, this time the waiter is amazing and off course the food is just perfect.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my FAVORITE restaurants in all if Los Angeles.
The food, ambiance, and environment is AMAZING. My favorite thing is the french rose sangria and the red velvet cake

Lunch on a rainy Friday of Oscars weekend felt incredibly rushed. Instead of focusing on ensuring that their customers enjoy a nice, leisurely meal, there was a clear need for rushing our meal and clearing dishes before meals and the dessert was even finished. Food was delicious, and it would have been nice to have the service to match. Skip this place if you would like to enjoy a leisurely lunch setting.

This review is not for the service - the staff was super attentive. The food was maybe the worst quality I've had sitting down to a meal in California. Don't care how much of a scene it is - do better!

Came to the Ivy for Lunch with my wife after we couldn't get into the Henry across the street and let me say that everything works out for a reason. I had never been here but my wife had. We had such a good time and the best food. We got a cob salad and a lobster sandwich. They were both unreal. This place is on the pricey side but it is Beverly Hill and that's what you come here for. Good quality food. Not fast and cheap. They have an awesome French theme decor and a hole in the wall type vibe. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait to get a table. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner date/celebration

Came here for lunch, salads were simple yet delicious and flavorful. The pizza was also really good! Tuna tartare was delicious, it's a small portion. I recommend ordering two if you're more than 2 people. Service was great, checking in and making sure we were enjoying our food & drinks. The ambiance was great, super cute spot. I recommend trying this restaurant out

Many TMZ and other tour buses frequently drive by here so if you sit outside, be prepared to have random photos taken of you. Not the best crab cakes I've ever had. I had a plain house salad with fruit added; the fruit alone was $17 extra???? Heavily overpriced. Service wasn't bad

We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us. My entire party of 3 selected the lobster scramble and it served as an excellent choice. Alfredo was our server he was kind and attentive. My only gripe was the drinks our mimosas were ver skimpy at $18 a piece.
