🤢 2/5 - “...a small jelly jar full of asparagus-flavored library paste”.

We’ve always enjoyed The Kitchen, and they may recover from their botched re-opening, but the problems are many. It turns out that touring the kitchen area to watch prep was a big part of the “experience” and so they needed to step it up on the culinary side to make up for it. They didn’t. In fact, after the lightly fried oyster (which was exceptional), everything went downhill. The worst of the fare was a small jelly jar filled with asparagus-flavored library paste. The exuberant atmosphere was replaced by a grim undercurrent of desperation, as if they needed to financially recover in one night for the past year. The bill for two of us was $750 which, of course, is too much for any meal, anywhere.
