Lovely Lunch
We loved The Maine with great service from Irina and excellent food. The fact that we could comfortably lunch outside on the terrace in the rainy English summer was perfect!
A great night out with the family at Maine.
Super atmosphere and very entertaining cabaret. The food was excellent and the wine list had something for everybody.
Excellent birthday celebration
Maine is a lovely place for a celebration - I booked a table for my husband’s birthday having visited previously for mine. The ambience, with the sparkling chandelier in the centre, and the band playing, add to that special feeling. The food is delicious - we opted for oysters and scallops for starters, with halibut and veal chops for main course. There is a good choice of wines by the glass and my husband was guided to try some lovely Italian wines by the sommelier. There is also a good choice of cocktails which I prefer. The service is good and although it’s not cheap it’s worth it if it’s for something special.

Was hungry and happened to be in the area when I saw this as an option on Yelp. Went there around 4-5pm so place was quiet. Sat at the bar. The staff was friendly and got me situated promptly. Asked the bartender if lobster roll was a better choice than lobster Mac and cheese. He said the roll is a go to. Got the butter sauce with it instead of the spicy sauce. Overall, it was a great meal. Didn't try any cocktails while there. The food is also reasonably priced. The space is pretty nice. I'd definitely return when in the city again.

Asked for bar high table however they insisted on seating family, including kids, at the bar. Overall fairly arrogant service that wasn't worth the hassle. Caters more to the after-work crowd. Would 10/10 avoid if you don't fit the back-to-office demographic.
Dinner at Maine Mayfair
Our evening at Maine Mayfair was spectacular, creating an unforgettable dining experience for us. The service was exemplary from the start to finish. Alessio was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. We began with fish tacos and beef carpaccio. For our mains we chose the sea bass and sticky lamb chops and then we ended our meal with the apple tartin - the perfect finale. Every dish was prepared to perfection and made each bite a pleasure. The live entertainment consisting of a mixture of live band, singers and burlesque dancers enhanced the evening. Overall, our dinner at Maine Mayfair was a culinary delight. The combination of exquisite food, outstanding service, live entertainment and a romantic atmosphere made it a truly memorable evening for our wedding anniversary. We highly recommend Maine Mayfair for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

Incredible experience with great wine and atmosphere by the help of the professional staff. The menu should be enlarged though and more lobster dishes should be added to fulfill the brand name! Thank you again...
NOT RECOMMEND, NEVER AGING
First time visited the basement bar, one of the worst bars I've been to in mayfair!! Never again... horrible dead vibe, no cocktails, the way to the bar smell sooo bad, rude and unapproachable staff! DO NOT RECOMMEND! There much better place to go to in mayfair!
The Maine Myfair
I don’t write reviews quite often, but tonight experience was something fascinating and worth mentioning it. We went for dinner me and my wife. Just when we got in, Alessio took the responsibility of talking care of us till we left the this amazing restaurant. He was very kind and quickly responded to our requests, helped us with the order, and even moved us to a close table next to the musician. This place and for sure Alessio, will make me visit the place every time I go to London
A great evening at The Maine Mayfair
The staff was very knowledgeable and very kind and efficient, each plate was delicious, the live music and the show was very cool.
Worst service of any Mayfair restaurant. Good food though
Have never experienced such inconvenience in a high end restaurant before. We were made to wait (standing by the way) for 45mins for my birthday reservation (which I prepaid). The receptionist offered us a complimentary drink (the smallest glass of the cheapest wine by the way) which the bar manager was not happy at all to give out and insulted us about it. Also got charged for a birthday pudding (that we did not order) which is just ridiculous considering the bill size. Just awful service. Food is good though

Incredible, knockout evening
Meeting our old friends for dinner, we had this as the place to meet. Walking downstairs we heard the buzz, but were still not prepared for the amazing sight. Plush fabrics, huge chandeliers, live jazz band and many busy waiters. Whisked to our table, we immediately became part of it. My tuna tartare was so good, steak and fries, melted in the mouth. The live music and burlesque created an incredible atmosphere. What a night to remember.

A total delight!
We’d read good things about the Maine Mayfair and it didn’t disappoint. So nice to go somewhere where everyone has made an effort and adhered to the elegant attire dress code. The bar was so smart and lovely and warm on a freezing night, excellent cocktails and a nice atmosphere. The main restaurant was fabulous, smart decor, e fabulous layout so all the diners had a good view of the superb bands who entertained all evening. The music wasn’t too loud that one couldn’t talk, but so enjoyable in the background. Service was top notch, waiter so accommodating and the food was great. A real treat all round, I’d highly recommend it and have already booked to return.

There was no wait without a reservation on a Saturday at lunchtime. I would definitely go back.

My favourite restaurant in London. You will always have a good night here! Service is impeccable, entertainment is incredible, food is delicious and you have to try their cookie dough dessert!
Incredible food experiences
I was in London for 4 days and I always tried good restaurants. But The Maine was beyond my expectation. The food was the best I’ve ever eaten in London. The ambience and the music were incredible. I’ll definitely visit this restaurant again. 5 stars ⭐️
What a hidden gem!
I had no expectation when booking our dinner here. Wow what a great fun surprise. It’s a multiple level spot with an unassuming entry. Once in though you’ll be treated to a fun atmosphere with a terrific live band with a Spanish theme and Celia Cruz tunes. Not so loud to impede conversation at the table. Food was excellent with options for my Gluten Free friend. Seafood is their specialty and fine to stick with or venture. i can’t recommend this place enough.

Amazing place. Night of the year. These people really care about your experience. Was blown away by the personality of all the guys. Ali, the maître d. Such a çok iyi bir insan. Cara downstairs was so lovely wanted to invite her to be a family member. Lovely man in the blue suit couldn’t have been nicer. So sorry I can’t remember your name ( check the pictures )Too many to mention. The band , the singer, the entertainment. The service the venue. You haven’t been out properly in Mayfair until you have been here. Our new favourite place. Not cheap. But you can’t buy class! Fantastic guys. Be back soon. Did I say fantastic! I didn’t say it enough. Thank you all. You make it very special.

Miguel was brilliant!
Miguel, our waiter, was absolutely brilliant. Super friendly, good sense of humour, extremely attentive and just an overall pleasure to be served by. Put our dessert on the house as it was my wife’s birthday. Food tasted amazing and quantity was great.
Mixed feelings………Great food & entertainment but poor service.
We’d heard great things about Maine and upon arrival were impressed by the decor and the live entertainment. The food didn’t disappoint, and with a pre paid £150 per person minimum I would have expected that to be the case. However what let the place down was their lack of attention to detail, such as, the low back chairs on the high tables, possibly the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat on, the wait for drinks, some of which didn’t turn up at all, having to ask for dessert menus 40 mins after finishing our main & the attitude of a couple of senior members of staff. One of whom did eventually apologise in fairness to him. Overall I wasn’t made to feel like my custom was appreciated unfortunately and when I’m forced to decide how much I’m spending before I’ve set foot in the place, it’s not just the quality of food that keeps you coming back, the service matters a great deal too. Especially when you factor in the price.

Me and my friends had truly one of our best meal ever here at the MAINE Mayfair yesterday. Starting with a fantastic front of house team who created a great guests experience from the beginning, friendly and professional at the same time, making the MAINE Mayfair a perfect place to relax and enjoy our meal. We have been welcomed and shown to our table and looked after by Sam. We have been suggested and guided through the food and wine choices. Therefore we decided to go for different and multiple starters, mains, sides and desserts to share. It was the best option as allowed all of us to try different dishes. The service was smooth and very professional; The food was absolutely incredibly tasty, well presented and generous portions. I can’t remember last time I had such a great quality food. Thank you And well done to all the chefs in the kitchen! Our whole experience is something that we will never forget… thank you all, especially to our very kind and amazing Sam who provided us an excellent service full of attention to me and all my guests. We will certainly be back again and will let all our friends and families know how special this place is !! A gem in the heart of Mayfair Thank you for the best experience ever!
birthday dinner
I decided to have a a solo birthday dinner at the Maine and everything from the service to the live entertainment to the food was amazing. I recommend the seabass and the crispy fish taco. Everyone was so lovely and kind but I would like to mostly thank Sam who really made my evening amazing. He makes sure you’re well looked after and I’m certain I wasn’t the only person he attended too. So welcoming and gracious. Highly recommend asking for Sam. A birthday dinner I’ll never forget

Saturday night
The place was beautiful with a fantastic vibe. The music and entertainment was excellent. Food was good although not the best I’ve had in a top class London restaurant. The service was hot and miss as the side dish of mushrooms with our main meal were obviously forgotten on our order and after asking twice where they were, eventually turned up when we half way through our mains. Our waitress was also slightly clumsy and out every dish which she also did not know the names of in front of wrong person. Not the sort of service I would expect in what is supposedly a top class restaurant. Also they were out of all the dessert wines barring two, again very poor for a top class establishment, I have given 4 stars mainly for the great entertainment and fabulous decor. The food I would give 3 stars to out of 5. I’m glad we went as it was a good experience but for the money there are far better London restaurants to dine in.
A sense of magic
You leave the hustle and bustle of London behind as soon as you step inside The Maine, entering a world of fun, old-school glamour, indulgence and magic. From the people who greet you at the door to the wonderful waiters bringing you champagne to the managers who can't do enough for you, everyone makes you feel that you belong in this special place. The food was excellent, there was a good selection of wine from both old and new worlds and I can highly recommend the cocktails. Upstairs in the dining room was more calm and a better option for catching-up with friends. Downstairs is electric. The speakeasy bar has more types of spirits than you can shake a stick at and the live band and burlesque dancer was superb. Highlights for me were Sam (one of the managers), Giuseppe (the Italian Stallion who greeted us on the door, Alex (you can't miss him in his cowboy hat) and Santa (our wonderful waitress who brought us culinary gifts). I cannot wait to get back to this indulgent world, where everyone knows how to have a good time. I would recommend it for anyone wanting somewhere special to go with family, friends or people visiting if you want to show them a snippet of London that is very special.

Maria our waitress made me feel like I was in my home. We didn’t sit it the main room with the entertainment because it was a business dinner. Every person on the staff went well and beyond what one would expect. I can’t wait to go back
Avoid
To start with the positive, the food we had was good although it is expensive so we expected it to be of a standard. In terms of atmosphere and service, I’d avoid if you’re young or have anything about you. Was easily the worst vibes out of all Mayfair restaurants I have visited. Service was rude especially one of the managers who came over to us straight away very unnecessarily telling us to not take photos and apparently this was information he was telling everyone? We hadn’t, wasn’t planning on it and it was clearly targeted because we’re both young women. Very snobby negative attitude that continued throughout. I have never experienced that before in a restaurant. The entertainment was okay- the music was lovely however the dancer stripped right down to nipple tassels and a string thong, she took off her stockings and it went from fun to tacky very quickly. It wasn’t late at this point and from other customers reactions it was clear people were thinking the same as us. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, there are so many lovely restaurant’s in London I won’t be returning to this one.

Fab time at the maine! We spent a very lovely time on Valentine’s Day. Service was 10/10 and the manager sam was such a delight. We were booked in the drawing room with no entertainment but sam made a great effort in informing us when the show starts. The food was delicious and the waiter was great. The whole restaurant looks stunning.
1920’ Glitz & Glamour
This is a jaw dropping must visit venue!. Spectacular deco take you to the glitz and glamour or 20’s Amazing atmosphere with faultless service, exceptional food, live jazz and lush & sexy burlesque cabaret show. WOW! We’ve had outstanding experience and have been well look after by the one and only host Sasha. What a night!!!!
Lush evening.
Couldn't be happier with the service we were provided. An amazing atmosphere that brings you back to 20's glam era in the middle of Londons West end. Went on a staff day out where Sam and Enrico gave us the perfect treatment. Every meal came with a very detailed explanation and special attention paid to every detail to make sure we all felt very comfortable throughtout the whole evening.
Excellent service
As someone who has a tomato allergy I get nervous about visiting a new restaurant. I didn't need to be here! We arrived early for our table so were directed to the bar for drinks and the cocktail menu was extensive and had a nice selection of non alcoholic. We were seated in the main restaurant and the singer was absolutely fantastic. The band were such masters of their craft and were obviously enjoying themselves. The food was massive ! We had afternoon tea earlier in the day so the portion size caught us off guard. The staff were very attentive. If service was slow we didn't notice as we watched what was going on and enjoying the entertainment . We ended up taking a goody bag home with us. So if you get the steak. Share it!

Omg! Horrible! Super horrible experience.
Got some racist issues which make me feel so bad about this trip. We flew from LA and came to the new Bond street tonight. My son wanted to have some burger. So I checked Yelp and came here. The African Britain waitress who has a white Du-rag on head came to us to order some food. We wanted to start with drinks and appetizers. After ordering , she spoke very fast to push us to order the main entrance. So I smiled and ordered. My son order from main menu at the beginning. But the lady suggested us to get some thing from the kid menu. I appreciated that . I ordered myself a lobster roll and tried to figure out something on the menu. She spoke fast and I was confirming with her. but she was suddenly became rude and mad , took the menu from me, and repeated "fine. U don't understand English! Waste my time. U don't understand blablabla" wow! I got shocked and asked the girl from reception to get another waitress for us. Horrible experience. I want to give zero star if I can.

1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at The MAINE Mayfair London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at The MAINE Mayfair London!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
