Looking for a restaurant that would be killer good, I checked my Yelp...London UK. Uber was easy and drove us the 1.4 miles on the wrong side of the road to dinner, I kicked in an extra fiver for the trouble. New pub looking oldish, designed for eating as opposed to drinking. Our open table was helpful in saving us a table for 8:30 seating. Our table in the middle of the floor, surrounded by diners was oh it was loud too, perfect. The menu was great, everything I would have loved to taste and enjoy. C ordered some wine and I went for the Homemade Rhubarb Lemonade, a good choice and refreshing beverage. I'd never had a "Pig & Butcher"Scotch Egg, really good just my thing. Now how come we don't have chefs making these in my hometown...I'll start asking. Next at the table Devonshire Crab Gratin, I was thinking something else and this was exactly what I hadn't expected and delicious it was. C ordered the Truffle Stuffed Sutton Hoo Chicken, she loved it, not a morsel remained. Short Rib, long story here...I love 'em and usually try them when offered. These were exceptionally good. I got a kick out of an entire carrot as my vegetable, yes cooked. Then came the "puddings" a Lemon tart and a Chocolate Ganache contrast for the finish. The checkered flag dropped and we we're happy food folks. Nice Foodguy-martin

My favourite neighbourhood pub with excellent meats and a great menu. I really commend the chef and the team for their excellent job.
Great atmosphere! Slightly moody and on theme.
Love the selection of meats. Service was prompt.

Experiencing the classic Sunday Roast, along with indulging in hard cider and pudding, was an absolute delight. The entire experience was fantastic, and I'm truly appreciative that they managed to accommodate us on a busy Sunday evening.
What a huge disappointment.
Booked Sunday Roast for 2 here, many weeks in advance, based on great reviews (and photos) across sources. We were really looking forward to this meal as a key part of our first trip back to London since the pandemic. Service was helpful and prompt, and the ambiance was solid (modern classy pub vibe), so 2 stars for that. But the FOOD.... was straight up NOT GOOD, almost BAD. Got the scotch egg and pea veloute/soup apps. Scotch egg was overcooked... dry meat and yolk not runny at all. Soup was the best item of the night, it was fresh and seasonal, and well presented (perhaps a bit boring/bland, but I suppose that works if you're trying to highlight fresh veg flavor). For mains, I ordered the beef and my wife ordered the hogget, which is basically older lamb/mutton. Both plates were sad. Meats were room temp. Half the hogget was too tough to eat (I know it's a tough meat, but shoe leather just shouldn't be served). Beef was less tough but still not tender, and bland -- you gotta season beef thoroughly, come on. Veggies and Yorkshire pudding were all room temp, and also bland. And we had to ask for gravy?! And this place is priced the same as Hawksmoor?! Get real. Maybe it was a bad night -- others reviews here seem really positive. Maybe it's become a tourist trap -- a lot of the other tables were Americans. Who knows. But I'm embarrassed I brought my wife here as our "nice Sunday Roast" while on vacation. Save your money and time, go elsewhere.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
