Avoid this coffee shop!
Found aluminum in our drinks (which is not great, but I get it, it can happen sometimes). Instead of remedying the situation or apologizing or doing the bare minimum when a paying customer politely raises a legitimate issue, the owner responded by insinuating that we made it up. When my little sister (a child, mind you) showed her the aluminum, she just said, "Well what am I supposed to do about it?" I guess it was a good example to my little sister of how NOT to treat other people. It's unfortunate because Aspen is such an amazing place, and the staff at Victoria's left us with a sour taste (and aluminum!!) in our mouths. Again, it wasn't the aluminum that was really the problem--I would never take the time to write a review if we found something in our drink and they appropriately remedied the situation. It's really about the hostility we faced after bringing it up. Plus, the coffee was nothing special.
Be the first to ReplyGreat coffee shop with strange rules
I’ve been here many times, usually on a weekend when it’s packed. The food is good, the coffee is good, the pastries are fantastic. On the down side, I had the opportunity to visit during the week when it was quiet, yay! Not so much. They’ve added some strange rules like, all coffee and pastries are to go and you can’t use laptops (although their employees do, in the restaurant). Businesses can have whatever rules they want. For a coffee shop, these are silly. Don’t go here if you want to hang out, it’s really only for eating 🤷 ♂️.

Best coffee ever Great bakery. Victoria is the owner. She is there everyday with Aussie humor. Great food. Good place to sit and enjoy tge mountain
Be the first to ReplyDecent coffee - extremely rude service
Don't waste your time or money here. Other spots in Aspen where you are valued as a customer. The coffee was fine, but the staff are downright rude and could care less about service.
Be the first to ReplyRude service and poor food
My children and I were told as soon as we walked to the rest room that there was a public restroom around the corner, even though we had ordered food to sit outside. I was told we need to be approved to eat outside and it wasn't for a 'snack'. when we ordered the food, it was an effort with a lot of sighing because our order was long (family of 5). The food when it arrived was nothing great, cheese was greasy on pizza, sausage roll was cold in the middle.... plenty of other great places to eat and with better friendly service. As an Aussie I was excited to eat an Aussie cafe but this was terrible. Don't waste you money here!
Be the first to ReplyCustomers are not welcome here. Pay your money and get out! Don’t waste your time here.
Went for some early morning coffee and to read the news. Bought a cup of black coffee served in a paper cup (no mugs for you!) and was told I had 30 minutes despite a dozen tables being empty. Checked the menu, decided to eat, had a decent Denver wrap. I asked for a refill on coffee and asked for a mug. Server seemed put out but got if for me. After finishing my meal, asked for a refill on coffee and was told I had to pay another $2.00 for a cup of black coffee. Then, was told (again) that the clock was running and I had 30 minutes to enjoy my refill. About 10 minutes later, server came by and told me to “wrap it up” even though there were still a dozen empty tables in the joint. I’m sure it wasn’t the server’s policy and he was pleasant enough, but there are too many good options for coffee in Aspen to waste your time here.

Victoria’s offers some coffee specialities including cappuccinos and other blended drinks. You can also order food. My drink and food were decent albeit in a paper cup for the coffee. Shortly after paying they ordered me outside to drink and eat. I was disappointed that the policy to determine who stayed inside and who was pushed outside did not appear consistently applied when there was plenty of distancing available. Staff were none too welcoming. Nonetheless, there are not as many coffee shops as you would expect in this town so this is one of the limited options to consider.
Be the first to ReplyCoffee, pastries and homemade pizza!
Coffee, pastries and hand pizza are a must at Victoria’s when in Aspen. The outdoor patio with the fire pits provide some of the best views of Ajax to enjoy while dining.
Be the first to ReplyRude service
Don’t waste your time or your money here. Initial server was very nice and hospitable. All I wanted was a glass of wine/champagne and a pastry. I was walk through the pastry selection and then was told to go to the bar top to make a selection. I was allowed to (while sitting at the bar top) review the menu, talk to staff , order and pay at the bar top. Then some older lady got rude with me because I was sipping my drink at bar - ( no one was around !!!) y’all made it feel like it’s was okay too! They should have directed me to another table, KINDLY. Instead this woman who works there , whether it’s ownership/ management , was so rude about it . She interrupted me and left a bad taste in my mouth . Also, in the bathroom it says you cannot take your mask off in the restroom, it’s a one person restroom. I’m not allowed to take my mask off while I’m alone using the restroom? Give me a break.
Be the first to ReplyLattes were weak and Luke warm
Lattes were weak and Luke warm , burrito was cold and probably frozen food and best of all the lady who owns the place told us “ I don’t need you” in front of the very few customers she had when I tried to get corrected. Being local we try to spread our business around but this place is a definite no. So many other good coffee shops in aspen. Up and down the blocks where the locals hang and customers are appreciated . Pass!!!
