Wonderful Gem in Boston's North End!
This is really "old school" Italian, tried and true recipes that have stood the test of time. My husband had lasagna and I had chicken marsala- we both said the "best we've ever had!" Even the simple/classic caprese salad was amazing! Highly recommend!

Delicious food and friendly service. The house salads were huge with homemade croutons. The meatball appetizer was absolutely delicious! We asked to share the chicken parm and it was served proportioned on two plates for us which was a wonderful touch!! We would definitely go back.

We visited in October for our anniversary and had a wonderful dinner. The food was really good, we tried the garlic bread, Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs and lobster ravioli. Also tried the cannoli which the cherry was the best!

We ordered lobster ravioli and shrimp scampi pasta. They were so delicious.!! The service was efficient and friendly. The place was rustique and small. Luckily when we came there, there was no queue…
Be the first to ReplyGet there!!! ❤️ Lobster Ravioli right up there with any I’ve had on the North End.
Do not hesitate on this one!!!! I had the lobster ravioli and it was over the top good!!! We also had the fried calamari and it was tender and tasty!! Very good!! We will go back here again. The atmosphere is great as well. Very “old Boston”, welcoming family atmosphere. Try it out. You won’t regret it.

Went here on a Thursday evening after seeing it on a food show. The place is decorated nicely but it ends there. We had the arancini as an appetizer. They should be called mini arancini. We also had a cold focaccia bread. The bread was probably the highlight. For dinner we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, the chicken broccoli and ziti, the eggplant with ziti. The eggplant was premade. My wife asked if they could go light on the cheese and our very nice server told us that the cheese was already on the eggplant. So if the cheese is layered in it then I am saying it was made in advance. Not a good look for a north end restaurant. The chicken broccoli and ziti was ok. The broccoli was small and the chicken was chopped up. I did however like the ziti. We skipped desert. All in for three dinners, one app, two glasses of wine, and one San Pellegrino $118.00 for the meal. That's about average for the neighborhood. I definitely will be visiting another place in the neighborhood the next time.
Be the first to ReplyFelt like a visit to grandma’s
What a wonderful atmosphere. I felt like I was at my grandma’s. Service was very attentive. I had the Cacio E Pepe and my husband had spaghetti & meatballs. The pasta is freshly made in house. We went to dinner before the Bruins game. The restaurant was full but they managed to attend to everyone in a timely fashion. Would recommend if you are craving some fresh, delicious pasta!

All of our dishes were amazing- you cant go wrong with anything (cheese, carbs and sauce). I would suggest making a reservation before you arrive due to the restaurant being on the smaller side.

went to this restaurant with high expectations it came highly recommended but we were sadly disappointed. we waited for about an hour and a half for the food to get to the table. the food is a little bit overpriced. the lasagna is smothered in cheese and you can barely taste the pasta in it. Unfortunately even the nice decor could not save the evening
Be the first to ReplyFun atmosphere, feels like the 1970s
We really enjoyed our dinner here. True, it's not in the lively part of Little Italy although it is in the North End, but this place had a great vibe. I felt like I was eating at someone's grandma's restaurant. It's a small place with red and white tablecloths, plastic water cups, and one of those red votive candles from the 1970s. We had garlic bread (amazing) and the chef's special that night, which was a baked rigatoni. There seemed to be one server for the whole place, but she was super efficient, friendly, and she knew the menu. We had no complaints about anything. We originally booked an outdoor table from Open Table but changed it due to the forecast, which was good because it really rained. The outside area looked great, but Open Table does say that if the weather is bad, they likely won't be able to move your reservation inside because it's a small place. We tried the award-winning meatballs. Everything we had was delicious!

Very small and cozy environment. Food was delicious. Pasta is hand made. Service was very good. Must go if in area. Call ahead for reservation to make sure you can get a table.
